Seating is limited, but it feels cozy and intimate. The staff was outstanding from the greeter to the servers, friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The menu has a great variety, from ramen and teriyaki boxes to rice dishes and sushi. We started with the soft shell crab appetizer, which was incredibly fresh with a light, perfectly crisp tempura batter. For our main course, we went with a selection of sushi, and it was phenomenal. The fish was extremely fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and every flavor paired beautifully. One thing I really appreciated is they don't smother their sushi in sauces, they let the freshness and quality of the fish speak for itself, the way it should. Quite possibly the best sushi in town!!

Visiting Lincoln for two weeks and decided to try some sushi on my first night…read more Pros: Sunday has happy hour all day, including some food items. The service was decent. Cons: It just didn't hit the mark with me. I ordered chicken karaage, two handrolls, and the tuna roll for dinner. The handrolls were probably the best bites of the night. I didn't care for the batter on the karaage nor the dipping sauce (sweet soy based sauce). Not what you would normally get when ordering karaage. The tuna roll was pretty inconsistent, with some pieces having giant chunks of tuna and nothing else while others had a huge chunk of avocado. It wasn't tightly rolled and the rice didn't taste seasoned. In fact, the more I think about it while looking at my photo, the more those disappointing feelings are coming back.

We tried their whole non alcoholic selection of drinks. I got the coco hydration and hubby got the hibiscus drink then the dragon fruit lemonade. We ordered fried calamari and it was fried with a light tempura like batter with salt and pepper. There were pieces of vegetables in it also deep fried in the same batter. - spring onions, peppers, sweet potato fries. These came alarmingly fast- and it was hot. Aint complaining.... it was fantastic Then we ordered sushi to share. We got the hawaiian roll, the iguana and the sake roll. They were all delicious - not in the traditional japanese sense but light on the stomach and delicious. The ambiance of the place is light and chill. On one side there is a sushi bar and on the other side; there are a variety of seating available- ie couches, tables and bar seating. Our server Ryleigh was also super friendly and personable. The manager also stopped by. The straws were paper straws but the manager quickly swopped them out for agave straws! Love this place and we will definitely be back.

My favorite of the three was the iguana roll. To drink I had 2 non alcholic 1 dragon fruit lemonade and one hibiscus lemonade. Both wonderful. Crisp and great taste. The asterisk is for paper straws. Horrible.

We were seated immediately and our server was very polite and nice. There is a variety of seating available and we got a table with one side being a bench seat and I got a chair. The chair was not very stable and if you leaned back you could fall. I'm quite small, as long as I didn't lean back I was good. The decor looked like a cross between industrial and a pub, not neccessarily a japanese restaurant. The restaurant has a full bar with mixed drinks, red and white wine and beer. There is all you can eat sushi - but we didnt order that as we were not that hungry. Hubby ordered a diet coke and I got japanese jasmine tea. Yamamoto yama tea that came in a nice ceramic pot with a ceramic cup. Drinks came promptly. We ordered age tofu, and fried spring rolls for appetisers. Age tofu was crispy and sauce for it was good. But the age tofu that I'm used to had a much lighter batter which i prefer. The spring rolls were a tad cool to touch- and mushy inside ( feels like something frozen then fried and left there - then lightly refried. ) not made fresh to order. We ordered the Kasumi and Nebraska. Sushi was well wrapped- combination of rice to ingredients ratio was good. Sriracha on sushi was a little odd. Both hubby and I agreed we liked the Nebraska roll a little better than the Kasumi. Condition of the restaurant - could be improved. Service - decent Food - oķ but not great. Might not be back so soon.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would…read more I ordered through DoorDash and got the same roll I order all the time. I've never had an issue until today. When my order arrived, the food was cold, which may have been more of a DoorDash issue since the delivery took quite a while. However, the bigger problem was the roll itself. The fish tasted terrible--so bad that I spit it out. I've had this roll many times before and know what it should taste like, and this was definitely not right. On top of that, I was missing a crab rangoon. When I tried to resolve it through DoorDash, they only offered a partial refund, so I called the restaurant directly. The employee I spoke with was argumentative from the start. When I explained that the roll was cold, soggy, and tasted like bad fish, he had excuse after excuse for why it was that way. The reality is that the food was not edible, and I had to spend more money to get something else to eat. As for the missing crab rangoon, he insisted that he personally packed my order and knew it was in the bag. He repeatedly told me he put it in there and suggested the DoorDash driver must have taken it. I told him I didn't care who put it in the bag--the point is that it wasn't in my order when it arrived. Instead of trying to help or make it right, he argued with me and basically accused someone else of stealing it. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service and refusing to take concerns seriously are what earned this review. I won't be ordering from here again.

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.
