After trying over 5 boba places in the Valley, I've decided that Tea 'n Tea is the best in SFV. Here are the deets to why I deemed them to be the best one in town. 1. The boba never stuck together! that's when you know it's properly made to perfection. There has been instances where I had boba where they're clumped together, and it resulted in a total mess when I pulled them out of the straw in the car. Also, the boba are perfectly chewy! 2. Their teas and drinks are delicious. I always finished my drinks within 5 minutes. 3. They have amazingly crispy tofu and popcorn chicken. I know it's made well because the tofu would still be crispy after it has been sitting in the car for 20 minutes. I always go here ever since I discovered their existence. They also have a Five Stars Reward where you can get freebies! I highly recommend this place if you're in the area! read more

When asking questions about the drinks, they're very helpful describing what's inside the drink. I ordered the Matcha Snow Bubble w/ boba and Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. Total price for two items was around $17 estimate. Wished there was a listed price for the drinks since I blindly ordered these items not knowing the prices, but the quantity of the popcorn chicken was very filling and with the 25oz drink, it adds up. The Matcha snow bubble was great and luckily I was able to sub out the whole milk for almond milk with no extra charge. A bit sweet for my liking, so next time will do less sweet or 50%. However, the boba was a little bit hard in the middle. Might need to be cooked a little bit more. read more

Great local boba shop tucked inside a little shopping center. They have all types of drinks like snow bubbles, slushes, milk teas and more. I ordered a taro snow bubble and it was delightful! I can't help but drink them down so fast. The hubs ordered a watermelon slush and asked for 25% sweetness. It was so refreshing and delicious. Boba had a nice texture too, not too firm (I like them a little soft, but still chewy). What really gave them the 5 stars was the customer service! Staff was so friendly and helpful. I feel like this boba spot is stuck in the past as it seems like the ingredient quality here is minimally standard enough to simply churn out drinks. My Hong Kong milk tea didn't taste like Hong Kong milk tea at all and instead just plain black milk tea. I usually order 50% sweetness for my milk tea drinks to have a stronger tea flavor but here the drinks are straight diluted to meet the requested sweetness level. I also tried the earl grey milk tea; the earl grey flavoring tasted like it was from a syrup. I added a star because the popcorn chicken was authentically Taiwanese style (five spice seasoning and fried basil) and although the chicken wasn't the most tender it was still scrumptiously crunchy. Based on how busy this place was it seems like it's catered mainly to locals who want to enjoy their own company here with drink quality not being top priority. The boba game has stepped up within the past several years though (many current boba spots featuring smooth-tasting drinks containing high grade tea) and as someone who isn't from the area and sought out this particular boba spot I was overall a bit disappointed. read more

This spot is a hidden gem! I am not the biggest Boba fan but for some reason here I love it. So far I have tried the avocado and passion fruit snow bubble teas. Let's start by addressing the elephant in the room. The pun totally caught me off guard (TNT = Tea N Tea) and... BLEW my mind. No pun intended. And while the drinks aren't exactly dynamite, they are pretty solid. Service is a 10/10 in this place. My boss and I dropped by to check it out after having lunch nearby and were quite impressed. HOWEVER.. it is so worth the Vietnamese coffee was taking so long that it made me so angry but as soon as I had it, i could not stay mad at all it was so good but what made me happier was the Vietnamese coffee snow bubble. it is a slush version and oh my god, i can't sop thinking about it. im addicted to it! their popcorn chicken seemed to be popular so i tried that too and it is so good. not just batter covered but actually can chew into chicken! the swt and sour sauce isn't exactly my type but it wasn't bad. read more

Comparing it now to 4 years ago. Seems like there's less space because of the boxes that are packed to the ceiling, popcorn chicken used to be good but now it's decent, honey lavender was good. Staff is friendly and sometimes bring your order to you if they aren't busy. I will definitely go back to try again in a few months and update this review accordingly. read more

I like trying different Boba spots and this place did not disappoint. I ordered an Avocado Snow Bubble and Mango Green Tea with Lychee Jelly and egg pudding. They have assorted milk tea with boba and toppings flavors but they're also a great place to hit up for lunch. The Taro Milk Tea is flavorful with a nice smoothness of the taro. The Oreo Matcha is good, but just a warning, it is very sweet--the Huz had it and even he felt the need to mention it even though he has a very strong sweet tooth. Nevertheless, it's not bad if you're looking for a sweet treat--just know that's what you're getting. They have many options, and depending on your preferences, I think you'll find whatever you choose enjoyable. The Popcorn chicken (there is a spice scale for your own personal preference) is a fairly large serving and the chicken is seasoned and tender--enjoyable and delicious. I also tried their fish balls (you get two skewers with 3 fish balls on them) which were enjoyable too--definitely has that fish flavor and street food ambiance. They also offer many other snack type foods (fried tofu, french fries, potstickers & more) and fried rice dishes such as sausage, chicken strip, pork chop and most interestingly, eel rice. That's pretty neat. The service is quick and friendly. Parking lot is large, but it can get very busy. The prices are high, but that's the way of things these days. read more

I haven't come this way in a while and came back to try the Earl gray milk tea with boba and non-dairy milk. I let the owner pick the milk based on his knowledge of the tea. The milk tea was so good that it inspired me to do a small watercolor art while waiting for the snacks to come out The snacks that I ordered came later and it was so good! I just had to paint it in my paper. What a great find! Nice Okinawian boba tea and crispy popcorn chicken! Went to this place based on a friend who has gone here numerous times and boy were they right! Not much room to eat there, but the place seemed busy with take out, which we did also. Ordered the boba tea admits the many, many choices and also the popcorn chicken. The boba tea was great with sweet boba at the bottom and a tea sweetened just enough. The popcorn chicken was really good fried to perfection and really crispy. It came with some really nice broccoli and some fried basil that was a great accompaniment. The portions were huge and I could only finish only about half. Been going to tea n tea for a long time. Their food and drinks are consistent and delicious. Service is always friendly and prompt. We order in from here a lot but when we stop in there are some tables and chairs to eat and some seating by the front if you want to sit and wait for your order to go. Been really enjoying the yogurt slush drinks here lately, particularly the mango strawberry one. Super refreshing on a hot day and you can even adjust the sweetness level on them (they'll just add less fruit syrup). We always have to wait around a bit before someone finally comes to the register so hopefully they work out a better system to expedite the ordering process. You can play board games here if you want as they have a small selection of games and a video game console. They still have the cups that won't fit inside your car cup holders, though, so if you're planning on drinking these while driving, just be aware! read more

Huuuuuge "buckets" of boba, homey space (complete with plush couch seats and Super Smash Brothers available for your entertaining pleasure), and extensive menu. There's a lot happening in this Northridge plaza, but Tea 'n Tea really holds its own. I've been a few times, but this was the first time that I went with a friend who normally doesn't really like boba! After a lot of indecision about the menu (there's pages of options, all of which are at a pretty fair price), she settled on peach milk tea and I had an earl grey milk tea. I've had the avocado snow bubble before (sounds quaint but is one of their top sellers! think a refreshing avocado smoothie) but it was a bit too chilly for that on the day I went. When we got our drinks a few quick minutes later, my friend really enjoyed her peach milk tea, including the consistency and sweetness of the boba pearls! I found my drink to be too sweet at 100%, but the employee behind the counter was very sweet and accommodating to adjust my drink so it was more drink-able. If you check in on Yelp or Facebook, you get a free upgrade to a large size that is far bigger than one's head and requires two hands to hold. Uhm, can you say YUM?! The watermelon slush is made with fresh watermelon, and has the perfect amount of sugar. The mango green tea is very refreshing. The thai tea with ice cream is divine! We tried their regular fries as well as the sweet potato fries. Both were fried to a nice crisp and seasoned well. Sam was helpful and recommended the watermelon slush. Still by far the best boba in town. Their boba chewiness level is always perfect and their Vietnamese coffee snow bubble is so good! My mom and bf love their mango yogurt Frost and I also really like their Earl Grey milk tea when I've already had my coffee for the day. Their food is also super delicious. I looooove their gyoza. The seasoning is perfect. This will hands down always be my favorite boba spot and I always recommend it to everyone.
