First off shout out to Kaya from Te Koop. She personally sent an email after my purchase which is a breath of fresh air since you don't get that treatment often. She was also helpful with a question I had and helped me even though I didn't expect it to happen. Ordered a bag from TeKoop since they're one of the few stores (that I'm aware of) that sells Anello bags that has a relatively easy location to get to. This is helpful when you want to see the actual product vs having to potentially deal with the hassle of returning the item. I pass by, and sometimes visit, their store whenever I'm in the area. As for the bag, I bought an Anello Alton backpack. Quality is really good and it's new. I was worried that it could be counterfeit or could be used (I see lots of videos online about this issue). Overall I recommend this store for your bag needs. They've gaied a repeat customer for their personal touch and I'll be sure to support this local business for future bag purchases, either for me or for more gifts. read more

Placed an order for a few items early April. I received a kind email from Kaya for placing the order and supporting local which I really appreciated-- however when my order arrived one of the items I received was incorrect which I'm sure was an honest mistake, no big deal-- so I reached out to them on 3 separate occasions (twice via email and once on Instagram) to have my order corrected and have yet to receive a response... Avoid this store at all costs. On July 20, 2024, I ordered a sling bag from their website. Their website contains a discount code and their website says that the item I ordered was also available. The following day, I received an email saying the item I ordered was out of stock. How can a store not have an updated inventory tracking system? It is not like they have multiple stores so the inventory should be easily updated. Then the discount code I used cannot be used anymore - apparently - I used it from my transaction, which was obviously and technically not valid since the item that I ordered wasn't in stock. I emailed sales@te-koop.ca but after a while, I was just ignored. Then I went to their website and asked helped through their online chat and after few hours, still nothing. This is a very unpleasant store experience. Faulty and erroneous inventory system and non existent customer care support. Everything is just a disaster. Not recommending this business at all. read more

I was really ready for this place to be very douchie due to the abundance of Hershel merchandise that decks the front of the store, but the staff here are actually pretty nice. I was totally let down. Haha. I've only ever bought one thing here, but it's pretty slick. I was in the market for a leather money clip but didn't feel like spending $200 on it: Enter Te Koop and the Will leather money clip. High quality leather, minimalist embossing/branding and quality workmanship, and on sale! Normally $50-55, it was on sale for $42. Sweet deal! They had some nice Hershel wallets and bags as well as some stylish toques and clothing. Worth the trip! read more

Also, they have an extensive collection of the Filson catalogue, including the travel garment bag (*wink, wink, nudge, nudge Lifetime Travel Partner*) Service was perfect, space lay out of the place doesn't feel too cluttered but there's an abundance, too. Staying open just a little bit later helps a lot. Pack $200. Knit gloves with touch screen use $40. Phone case $30. Convenience of location by work on my way home, priceless. Stumbled into Te Koop because my girlfriend was in search of a new backpack. The first thing that caught my eye was that they carried the Keyway leather cases I have been looking for for a while now so I had to pick one up. The store itself is packed with backpacks, fanny packs, duffel bags, sun glasses, socks, and even some jackets in the back. The customer service here was great and they didn't pester you when you were looking around. Overall this is definitely my go-to for backpacks in the city, especially with such a massive stock of Herschel goods. My girlfriend ended up finding a backpack and they even offered 15% the phone case with purchase of the back pack! Awesome experience. read more

Te Koop is a really interesting accessory store with a hint of clothing and shoes, depending on the season. On the amazing fashion strip of Queen Street, this store is a couple of blocks down from the MuchMusic building and it definitely a fun place to check out. They carry a lot of the sporty brands, like Puma and Adidas, so you will have no problem finding sporty-style bags to use as your gym bag, overnight pack or to keep up with your sporty look! However, they also have some fun purses! I bought a large clutch which had different coloured buttons stitched to both sides and it was only $20! Also, my best friend once bought a unique shirt, which was a tube top with these additional pieces of fabric attached that you wrap around yourself like a one-strap shirt or a halter. This shirt definitely gave out this idea of a more-than-one shirt, way before American Apparel invented this concept. If you are walking on Queen Street, Te Koop is worth a shot for checking out some cute accessories and unique clothing. read more

They have one side dedicated to the girls, and the other to the boys. The companies they supply in the store are not many, but the ones they do- they've got a good selection for. I like this store, and last time I went in I ended up leaving with a great pair of practical winter boots (great selection of Pajar!) and a purse. The salesgirl was also really helpful. They do also have a big selection of purses at different price points, including some smaller purses and wallets for $15-$20 and decent sales. I gave it three stars though because every other time I went in I just sort of walked around and nothing caught my eye. read more

She had been looking at bookbags all day when looking at the bag in this store the stiching appeared to be not consitant across the bags. Just did not get a good vibe from this place. Great place to go if you're looking for a bag. I was looking for a messenger bag, unfortunately the only ones I liked (property of) were out of my price range, but the people there were very helpful, with no additional pressure. I ended up coming back a few times before I choose on a cheaper bag from somewhere else. Unfortunately, since it was a cheaper bag, I began to have some issues with it, in particular the strap didn't fit well, and it started giving me back problems. I wasn't sure why I came back to Te Koop, but the sales lady (a cutie named Emmy), was extremely helpful, and suggested I get one of their straps special ordered from the manufacturer. I came back a few days later, and the manager did me one better and just gave me one of their extra straps, that fit me perfectly. I was expecting to pay, but they just gave it to me since it was extra. They had no obligation to either, since I wasn't a customer, and never spent a dime there. I probably will in the future though. Smart move Te Koop, smart move. read more

Bought a wallet on their website Black Friday (Nov 29th), got an email telling me I'd be notified via another email when the product is available for pick-up in-store. Sent an email on Dec 2nd asking for an estimate on when the order will be ready for pick up. No reply. Followed up again on Dec 4th, they replied the same day telling me it's out of stock. I replied on the same day asking why it took them 5 days to tell me a product is out of stock and pointed out that according to their website the product is still in stock. The same night, they finally marked the item as sold out on their website. No reply. I followed up again on Dec 6th, they "replied" the same day without answering my question, they just repeated that it's out of stock, asked me if I'd like a refund or a different product. I asked if I could get the wallet of the same brand, same model but a different color for the same price I purchased my "out of stock" product at. They refused and offered me a 20% discount for my next purchase. read more

Went to Te Koop to get a bag to take as carry-on for short trips. Both staff members there were awesome, really helped me find the right bag, and made sure to match the online sale price.
