The bar tender was also our server....it was a quiet day there. She was quite pleasant and really did a good job. She may have been part of the owning family. The food was very reasonably priced and the pizza was surprisingly good. We had a thin crust pizza. The crust was very good. The fried pickles were pretty good too, although they were served in one of those red plastic baskets without any paper lining. I was a little surprised by that and hoped the basket was cleaned, but I was so hungry I actually didn't care. It tasted good. The beer was good and cold and pretty cheap too. I debated on giving this place 3 stars. My gut said to go with 4. If you can appreciate an old school pizza joint, that looks like it's held a couple of small town wedding receptions or parties in the back room, then you'll know why I gave it 4 stars. Not all people will love this place, but it sure hit the spot and helped us kill some time and drink a few cool ones before we had to move on.
