How does TDS stay in business here in Carlsbad, New Mexico? I'm trying to set up my online pay account and am having trouble. It's not setting up correctly. I have 3 accounts with them. Should we call their repair people or anyone at the call center? Don't waste your time. They are of no help. I finally went into the office and couldn't get the girl to even look up from the computer while telling me she couldn't help either. So rude. No offer to help me in any way. Half the time the cable isn't working and the rest of the time it's slow. Worst customer service on the planet. Time to take my business elsewhere. read more

You'll loose internet often and when it's up and running it's slow. They'll come out find a bad connection and just not reliable but after a 2 day outage they did knock off some of the monthly bill. read more

terrible service and down time. If you can go to wireless WiFi with Verizon or Tmobile.

WiFi Connectivity is intermittent and leaving home vulnerable. Have called several times only to be told they will look into it.

All of a sudden, after the first of the year, all my metwork equipment no longer works right in tds network. Im only getting a tenth of the connection speed I had in December 2021. The only technical support they offer is to get you to rent "their" equipment. Bullshit! I cant wait till TMobil or Verizon trot out their 5G home internet service. read more

Had a appointment for a technician to come out make arrangements 9-14-23 3-5 and tds canceled the appointment without telling me Worst internet provider ever. they have an "outage" land left it at that. worst company ever read more

Office set to open 8am but no one would open a person got there by 8:20 said to expect to wait roughly 30 minutes. This is ridiculous!

Beware! They tell and offer you one thing and then you get the paperwork confirming it. Then you get a bill for twice as much!!! I had the paperwork plus an extra set of ears with me the first time. But was then asked why they told me what they did because they are not "new" there, and it was me that was wrong. I was very agitated and raised my voice and got yelled at in return. And one of these reviews said they say they open at 8 am. but they don't so I was leery. They did open at 8 am. but had to balance and boot their computers so only one guy was working and the other started in at 8:35am. Also never ever go there if you are in a time crunch, or on your lunch hour. Only one person works during lunch, and each customer takes a minimum of 15 minutes. I've been with this cable company over 30 years and through several name changes of this company. They used to be a monopoly. But they now have competition so beware and check around. read more

Absolutely terrible service, took 3 weeks for an install and then one month later the cable is out and they tell me it will be 3 weeks for them to fix it. Customer service is based out of India and the representatives are absolutely rude. read more

The absolute worse company. Customer service is awful. I wait in the lobby to open at 8 am to report a hazard-line down in road. The representative tells me they can't do anything. I have to call 800 number. When I tell her, I've already done that. And they said it will be 4 days to get someone out. The representative tells me sorry nothing she can do. She tells me to call 800 number and ask for a manager. So I guess customer service is do it yourself. Why do they even have a local office. Oh to take all the money in, on their horrible service. If this town ever has choice. TDS will go bankrupt. Screw the customer, but be sure and give us all your money. read more

Lousy connectivity issues. If there was any other "high speed" provider here I'd drop TDS in a heart beat. They have the cable service monopoly so they have no incentive to fix their system. read more

Cut my internet with no warning as I missed a payment due to believing I was enrolled in auto pay. I received no notification to missing a payment and only called the service desk thinking there might be technical issues with my internet. Took three weeks to get installed in the first place as well. I would use any other internet provider if there were any that went to my apartment building. By far the worst experience I have had with an internet provider. read more

This company has terrible service for your TV and their customer service is even more horrible. My husband was on a temporary work assignment in NM and all he wanted was his final bill so he could get reimbursed. He works 12 hours a day and doesn't have time to call, so I called for him. I gave them all his personal information and they still would not send us his bill. So we are out over $200 because TDS wouldn't resend a bill. Use Infinity, Better service and better customer support. read more

LOUSY CABLE PROVIDER! Couldn't get the PAY-PER-VIEW GGG-Conelo fight 9-15-18. Called the customer service line and was on hold for over two hours. No one answered. Called the local number, NO ONE ANSWERED! Tried to chat on line, send and e-mail, nothing worked. I'm now searching for a new cable provider! TDS is lousy! read more

This company has sent out numerous repair techs and still can't fix the problem. The TV and Internet blip constantly. I think their system is overloaded but don't say anything to the techs.....they think they are the smartest things to walk the earth. Our connection is consistently horrible. Horrible service. One could only wish Xfinity was in our area. read more
