I highly recommend Eastside Automotive & Tire, and if you have the chance to work with KJ, you're in great hands! Thank you again!

At 85 years old, my father-in-law's PT Cruiser fell into disrepair. It was leaking oil and coolant, overheating, and struggling to start even though the engine was replaced just two years ago at a Chrysler dealer. The car's value is completely sentimental, the cause of the issues was unclear, and PTs are notoriously difficult to service, so we were uncertain if it was worth repairing. Gere Auto took time to talk through the details of work and potential costs every step of the way, and also pushed the engine manufacturer to cover some work under warranty. Their highly skilled mechanics were able to diagnose the issues, make the necessary repairs, and even correct poor work by the dealership. The final cost was very reasonable and less than we initially expected. The PT is running nicely, and it's been a pleasure to drive this summer with the convertible top down!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE IF YOU VALUE IT'S LIFE…read more Would rate -5000 stars if I could, I am a fabricator and mechanic by trade, and needed my exhaust welded and brake lines redone in the rear due to the exhaust hanging and smacking the brake lines. I had plans to move out of state 3 days after the bracket snapped. Called them up, after talking to various shops, and had accepted I wouldn't be leaving on time, as I didn't have access to my own welder. Low and behold, they said no problem and booked me asap. Let me drop off right then as they are close to me. Told me it would be done next day. Welding "got done" and then everything got delayed by the brake lines delayed arrival. No worries there as it wasn't necessarily their fault. YOU KNOW WHAT IS? The so called "welds" they did, were as I noticed from the beginning, super sloppy, and I wasn't happy already, but that pales in comparison to the convenience of getting it done so fast... OR SO I THOUGHT. These buffoons decided it would be a GREAT idea to use a sideways bolt as a bridge for the gap in the hanger. It's a very simple L shaped hanger that could be either repaired properly or completely fabricated in under an hour by somebody competent. You won't find that here. Competence is apparently not in their job description here. Taking advantage of you rich folk who don't know much about your car. Please do yourself a favor and go to issaquah or redmond, don't even trust these guys with an oil change. Also contacted them after the fact, and the guy I had been dealing with Iliya, acted like he would do something and felt bad, and had me text photos of the broken weld, and zero response. Nothing. WARNING: They Damaged My Car and Still Charged $5700 plus…read moreZERO STAR!!! This is without question one of the worst auto repair shops I've ever dealt with. I brought my Mercedes GL450 in for suspension work. They kept my vehicle for more than a week and then charged me $5700 plus. Instead of fixing my car properly, they damaged it. During their work, they broke the coolant radiator and all the related hoses, causing coolant leaks that did not exist before I brought the car in. This damage was clearly the result of their negligence, yet they refused to take responsibility or offer a proper resolution. Charging luxury-car prices while delivering careless, incompetent work is unacceptable. Keeping a customer's car for over a week and returning it in worse condition shows a complete lack of professionalism and skill. I was left with extra repair costs, lost time, and serious frustration--all because this shop failed to do a basic job correctly. If you value your vehicle, especially a Mercedes or any high-end car, stay away from this shop. Paying $5700 plus to have your car damaged is something no customer should ever experience.
