I wanted to share with you my experience today at the Jiffy Lube in Duvall. I brought a Ram Truck 1500 and a Volvo S70 into have the oil changed. The team did their job, they did it right, they did it as a team, they checked, double checked and then highlighted what they had done with me. I sat in the vehicles the entire time and thus was able to watch the entire experience. Now I admit, getting the oil changed isn't the most exciting thing in the world, yet your team made it seem (and rightly so) that it was the most important thing in my world for the time my vehicle was in their bay. And where this store shines? The teamwork, the attitude (positive) the smiles through their eyes (because you can't see their smile through their masks (thank you for masking up). I'll be back. I've been going there for years. my current vehicle, still under warranty and running nicely, developed a "blender" noise at certain RPMs. Took it to the dealer to diagnose and they found it had 1 quart of oil, not 8, just one. Wonderful service!! Came to get a stripped screw out of my rotor that I couldn't do myself. They then were willing to replace the rotor that I was going to do myself and save me some stress!! Service was good. This is my second time at this location and it was the same guy who worked on my truck. Educated man who got me in and out in under 15 minutes. He replaced the oil drain plug gasket and also checked the air in my tires. I went and stood in the lobby and another young technician was sitting inside on his cellphone. Nothing went wrong with the service just confused on that aspect since It's been the same one guy who serviced my truck last time and the same young man inside the waiting area using his cellphone. Oil fliter was loose lost 3 quarts of oil. Much more and I could have ruined my engine if it didn't harm it some as it is. Over 100.00 for an oil change and they almost took out my engine. read more

I've been to this Jiffy Lube before and have been very pleased, but unfortunately my experience this morning was not good. Below is a complaint I filed with Jiffy Lube....it is self explanatory (I have X'd out the store managers name to protect his identity ; I just had a very concerning experience at your Duvall Washington location, store #3287.  The employees had me stay in my vehicle, which I was very pleased with due to coronavirus, however, XXXXX (store manager?) surprised me in the middle of the oil change by suddenly opening my vehicle door to look at the information sticker inside the door.  I was not prepared for this, was not wearing my mask, and he was just a couple feet away from me (he was wearing a mask, but I don't know what type....I typically wear N95 rated masks due to health issues)!!   When I told him that he should have alerted me in advance, or asked me to open the door for him, he started giving me 'attitude' with talking loudly and talking over me when I tried to explain why I felt he should have alerted me.  It seemed that XXXXX did not want to be 'told' what to do, he seemed to be very upset with me trying to voice my health & safety concerns regarding him suddenly opening my door (concerns related to being in the midst of a deadly pandemic)! I was trying to offer helpful advice to XXXXX, trying to tell him that it may be good to adopt a new approach, with first alerting the driver of the vehicle, and then asking if the driver could open the door to get the information, rather than suddenly open a car door with the driver not being prepared and not having a mask on.  Nomatter how I tried to explain this, XXXXX kept interrupting and talking over me....to the point to where I told him that if he continued to behave in this manner that I would file a complaint (I originally was not going to file a complaint, but as the situation escalated, I decided I would, and I told XXXXX this). As XXXXX continued to become more upset, talking louder and continuing to talk over me, I eventually had to raise my voice to stop XXXXX from his ranting, telling him that it would be best if he stops behaving the way he was, telling him that I am the CUSTOMER and he was making things worse for himself with my complaint if he continued behaving in this very unprofessional and non customer-centric manner. Through the course of this situation, XXXXX apologized for "offending" me with opening the door, but I tried to explain that I was not offended, but rather, concerned about safety & health due to the coronavirus.  It was during several of these moments that XXXXX would cut me off and talk over me again & again, rather than listening to what I had to say, which was very frustrating in and of itself, and exacerbated & escalated the situation.  This happened numerous times, with XXXXX saying 'sorry if I offended you' and me saying I was not offended, that it is a matter of health & safety during a dangerous pandemic. In summary, XXXXX seems to display the attributes of being a 'control freak' and on a 'power trip'.  I base this assessment not only with how XXXXX interacted with me (the CUSTOMER), but also, with how XXXXX interacted with subordinate employees, barking out orders and becoming very impatient and unpleasant towards them.  This type of behavior does not bode well in the customer service industry.... I plan to file a complaint with Washington State regarding health & safety concerns at Jiffy Lube Duvall Washington store #3287.  https://coronavirus.wa.gov/report-safe-start-violation I am also considering filing a complaint to the Washington State Attorney Generals office.   Jiffy Lube should not have employees such as XXXXX representing them....his behavior does not serve your company very well at all, his behavior is actually a very concerning health & safety issue! read more

Stripped most of my belly pan screws for my passat I just got. Broke the plunger/ oil pressure regulator attached to my oil filter housing. Wow. These guys are my heroes. I was heading up to the North Cascades for a hike, and passing through Duvall, my car started making a racket. I smelled burning rubber and it sounded bad. So I turned onto the next street to pull over into a parking lot. As I turned in, lo and behold, I saw a Jiffy Lube! I didn't expect to get my car fixed, but I thought at least they might be able to help me identify the problem and/or point me to the nearest auto shop. Imagine my surprise when Sascha, the manager met me outside, looked under the hood, immediately identified the problem (serpentine belt) and said yes, absolutely they could fix it! The guys were so helpful and kind...they hustled to get it started right away, and I had hope I might still make that hike! It was no simple matter to get the old belt out and get a new one in. But in spite of having to take several things apart to get at it, Mike and Sascha got in and removed the old belt (shredded like spaghetti) got a new one in, and had everything put back together in less than an hour. I was so grateful! Can you believe these guys?? They also washed my windows and vacuumed out my car! I live on a farm and have a Great Pyrenees (very large, hairy dog) that rides around in my car. Let me tell you...it ain't pretty. And if that wasn't enough, they also topped off all the fluids and aired up the tires. Amazing. These guys really treated me well. I drove in with a dirty ass car with a broken belt, and drove out an hour later with a significantly less dirty ass car that worked. And guess what? I still made my hike!! The first seconds of driving up i was met with Steven who walked me into the waiting room and communicated to me what exactly was happening. (I always use this location) Today I was greeted by Michael, Manny and Hunter(who was in the pit) who I noticed right away seemed to work together with complete respect and care for each other, the company and my car. While most of the staff is plenty cheerful and helpful, the manager Bryan is very rude and short, which made the entire experience unsatisfying, seeing as he is in charge and should be better with customer relations. I needed a top off because my cars oil leak worsened and I was low on cash. Bryan demanded I get an oil change or leave and come back with enough to pay for it. I understand following policy, no harm done there, however the way he approached the situation was extremely hurtful when I was in that position. Quite frankly, he ruined my day. Perhaps less importantly, he did not even take care to close my hood all the way, though I was lucky that another employee (Cooper, perhaps?) caught this before I left. I have to say I was so nervous about getting the oil changed during this crazy time. But all the workers made it easy and safe. I felt very protected and the process was done quickly. They have totally mastered the Covid-19 oil change. Gloves were used, they were conscious of staying as far away as they could when I paid (all of this without getting out of my car) and even though I forgot about the coupon, they gave me the discount. No pressure to talk me into anything unnecessary. He and his crew saved the day with regards to my tires! One had 10psi. That's not good! He and his crew stated what they thought the cause was. Friday July 15th I had my oil changed at Jiffy Lube in Duvall Washington. A nice guy named Steven happened to help me out and even told me while ringing me up that he had fixed my check engine light for me. I ask him how and he didn't really know how to explain but followed with, "it's not on now so it's fixed. I cleaned your battery terminal as well." I again thanked him and drove straight home, less than a mile away, and pulled in the driveway and shut down my car. I started it back up the next afternoon to head out and it would not idle to save it's life and a bunch of stuff on my dash wasn't working. I decided to go down to Jiffy Lube and ask them what exactly they had done to see if they could "undo" it. The car ran great before the oil change and now barely idles and dies in gear at every stop and slow down. I big guy named Niki came out and was polite enough and ask me what I was looking to have done. I explained what was going on real quick and that Steven (who happened to be working in one of the stalls at that moment) had helped me. After popping the hood and really just staring at it the manager told me there wasn't much they could do and in his words "We didn't fix anything, it just sounds like your catalytic converter happened to go out at the exact same time." ....... Really? He ask me what I wanted him to do and I told him I want them to undo whatever it was they had done to "fix" my check engine light. He told me again "We didn't fix anything and there's nothing we can do for you." I then asked him why Steven had said to me yesterday when ringing me up, "I fixed your check engine light". I told the manager Niki that I only came in yesterday and ask to have my oil changed, I never ask for anyone to fix a check engine light and now my car is not running correctly. Well the manager Niki wouldn't let this guy Steven talk at all and answer any questions being asked of him. After all it was Steven that worked on my car not Niki. I ask Niki if he would please let Steven talk so that he could answer my questions. One being "is it possible you did something to a fuse to cause this?" Steven said, "maybe, I can take a look and see." So again, extremely helpful and at this point the manager had completely walked away and was trash talking me at what he thought was quietly to another employee, but plainly heard by all. Steven looked at and played with the fuses in the car and the engine compartment and after about 5min asked if he could try starting the car up again. He started it and at this point my dash lights were all working again, the check engine light was back on, and the car was idling again. Hmmmmmm I told him I'd drive it around the parking lot real quick to see how it did in gear at a snails pace. Seemed to be running a lot better. Still idling a little low but none the less, idling. I drove back up the little driveway to the stalls in hopes of talking with Steven and thanking him but was met by the manager Niki who looked at me and said, "Yeah?" Me: "I don't know what Steven did but my car seems to be running correctly again and the dash controls and lights are all functioning, including the check engine light being back on." Niki: "K, fine!" Me (choosing to ignore the trash talk I heard earlier and the current short and rude attitude ): "Alright tell Steven thanks." Niki (yells) : "Don't ever come back here again, you here me?" Me (stopped car) : "Excuse me, what did you say?" Niki (yells) : "I said don't ever come back here again, you don't ever do that to me." His name tag said Niki, that's what the others called him and so I just said Niki, now that I know your name, I'm going to share my story so people know what to expect when they come to the Duvall Jiffy Lube. I was also disappointed to find out they did away with their value oil change and now it's $41.95, AND if you have an all wheel dive car, it's $5 more. WTH I certainly WILL NOT be going to Jiffy Lube anymore and hope that you don't either!! I CREATED A YELP ACCOUNT JUST TO WRITE THIS. NIKI IS NOT MANAGER MATERIAL!! read more

Okay for oil changes (to the best of my experience) but do NOT let them do any other services to your vehicle. They told my husband his transmission fluid looks dirty and offered to replace it for what sounded like a reasonable sum. I told my husband to take it to a real shop and have it looked at, he told me this was more convenient and told Jiffy Lube to just go ahead and do it. So they do it and he's driving for a few weeks and the transmission starts feeling like it's slipping between 1st and 2nd gear, just when he starts moving. He gets nervous about it enough that he does take it to a shop. The shop tells us his whole transmission is busted and it will be $4600 to fix. Husband tells them go ahead, I tell husband to wait a minute, let me check out the warranty. I called the dealership and sure enough, his vehicle was still under power train warranty. So, we took it over there and they tested the transmission and do you know what they figured out the problem was? Jiffy Lube did not put in enough transmission fluid when they changed it out, they only added 3/4 of what they should have. Jiffy Lube almost costs us $4600 dollars because they didn't add enough fluid and because my husband didn't think to check out his warranty. We were almost swindled twice! Lessons learned: #1, ALWAYS listen to your wife. I'm no car expert but I know when I'm being fleeced. Lesson #2, do not let oil change places do work on your car besides changing the oil. These are not skilled technicians usually, they do not always know what they are doing. So far, it seems like they can change oil okay. Have not had a problem with that yet. The people who work here are nice, I feel bad for them on their slow days and they have to stand out side and wave at people driving on Big Rock. read more

Tonight I went in to get a piece under my car that's been dragging fixed. Its been annoying me for weeks and I was driving by and thought maybe they could do this for me. I also needed new windshield wipers. I told the worker that I had the wipers at home and he told me if I brought them in hed do it free of charge. I ended up just buying new ones there. Not only was he so kind he gave me a great deal and fixed the underneath part for free. He was so kind and did such a great job!
