I was surprised by the negative reviews posted lately. I've been coming here for almost 2 years. I don't find the staff rude at all. It's a small shop, so it's understandable that appointments are needed. I have always needed an appointment for any nail shop I patronized, including previously in California. A couple of days ago I decided I needed a pedicure, so I stopped by and asked for the earliest appointment. They were able to give me one for two hours ahead, so I had brunch & shopped for a while and came back. There is no pressure to upsell. I always get the basic pedicure. It's true that the technicians are not very talkative, but that may be due to a language barrier as most, if not, all are Vietnamese. I entertain myself with my cell phone. It's very relaxing and they are quick. I will continue to go here. read more

I'll say something good first: this place is very clean. The people were pleasant. However, this was the poorest quality pedicure I've had in years. It took her about 20 minutes. And this was not even the lowest priced pedicure, I asked for the spa pedicure. She cut my nails, and that was it. She did not clean them, she used no other tools. She didn't cut the cuticles, she didn't clean underneath them. I don't know if this is how they do nails up here, but if so, it is the worst level of service for a pedicure that I've ever had. My nails were cut, my feet were put into the bath, I got a poor quality foot and leg massage, just repetitive strokes in the same spots over and over again on my feet and legs. Then color, and that was it. I think these people need to up their game quite a bit, i'm honestly surprised they are still in business. read more

I'd been going to TD Nails every two weeks for more than 4 years. I had to cancel my appointment same day due to a personal issue. My appointment was at 1pm. I called at 9am and left a message. I called back and 10am and was yelled at and then as I was asking to reschedule, she hung up on me! A. Sometimes people have extenuating circumstances and need to cancel same day B. In the 4+ years I've only done a same day cancel one other time and yes they were very angry. C. I'm a nice quiet customer who comes every 2 weeks and leaves good tips. D. Super impressed by this place! It was my first time in. I called the day before for an appointment for a gel manicure. When I arrived they greeted me immediately and had be pick a color. It's a small, tranquil and calm salon. There are only 3-4 nail stations and 4-5 pedicure chairs. The ambience is super nice. It was one of the best and fastest gel manicures I've ever had. 25 minutes in and out the door. $32, they do charge $1 extra for card. I will be returning. :) read more

I definitely recommend this place, they are following covid-19 guide lines which I appreciate it. Call in advanced for appointment or availability again due to covid-19. Times are a bit different... however Jennifer did my nails and honestly I love them Inside it's clean they have relaxing music playing the ladies are wearing mask as well all should for our safety and others. If I only could leave a "ZERO" instead of one star that would be more suitable for this terrible nail salon for their mistreatment of me and belittlement I would . I came on time to my appointment to this nail salon and asked five minutes prior to my time if I can soak my feet ? The nail technician named Mercy responded back to me so rudely and disrespectful with a no . She stated my appointment is at 3:30 pm , go back and sit down and wait . Two or three minutes after , she goes and turns on the water to the pedi chair and instructs me to come now and put my feet in the water . I just responded it was a few minutes ago that I asked to soak my feet . Then I was received with the most horrible customer treatment by all three nail technicians at the same time making negative comments about my simple request . Making it sound like I asked them to fan me and feed me grapes one by one . The male nail technician there was being a jerk mocking and ridiculing me . The nail technician called Mercy should be legally changed to Nasty, was stating that I'm picky and always complaining . Note- I get ingrown toe nails on my big toes . Who are they to tell me this when they're a nail salon and people come to this establishment to be treated properly and with respect . Not treat customers viciously and in front of other patrons too. The nail tech called Mercy told me to go elsewhere , and stated in her broken English I don't do your nails . As I was trying to wipe my wet feet from being inside of the water , Mercy was trying to rudely pull the towel away from my hands . I told wait a minute , I need to dry my feet first because they were wet . DON'T PATRONIZE this horrible salon if you want to be treated with respect and exceptional customer service because they don't know the definition of it if it hit them in their rude faces . read more

Expected more after choosing them based on "some" of the reviews. However, VERY unfriendly people! As you enter, first thing coldly said, "DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT?" Isn't said from the privacy of their counter but from someone working on a patron many feet away. I did have one and was pointed to a pedicure chair. A woman came over, ran water, stuck my feet in semi-warm water never asking if temp was good. No eye contact. She NEVER spoke to me throughout pedicure. A "menu" (nicely printed) was handed to me and I knew I was to choose what type of pedicure I wanted. I said # of pedicure I desired and no words said in return. NO ONE speaks out loud in this place other than "DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT " that was yelled to two others entering. They were instructed to leave because they did not have one. I was astounded by their coldness as though we should feel it was a privilege to have a sacred appointment. The decor is modern, clean, and minimal... just like the atmosphere and tone. It was bizarre and uncomfortable. Some seemingly steady customers were whispering or talking VERY quietly to their nail tech. It was strange to say the least. Foot/leg massage was, maybe 3 minutes. Creme used was so watery, it ran off my legs. Length of time of pedicure was 25 minutes. It set a speed record for quickest I've ever had. Perhaps she thought I had never had a good pedicure and wouldn't know a poor one? Pedicure looked "okay" but day later my right toe ached from trimming on the sides of nail. I used neosporin on it all week. Pain finally stopped. I decided not to get nails done here and have found a friendly, excellent nail salon in the area. I'll never return to this place. read more

First place I've been that a basic pedicure does not include lotion. Scaled down and overpriced. The girl working on my said she "threw in lotion "because my feet were dry and said to pay for better "more expensive " pedicure next time. Interesting to note I had already removed polish and my feet had minimal dead skin. Really not much for them to do other than trim and repolish. I think the female owner did it. the 42$ plus tip manicure did not even last 3 days without chipping on one nail and then at 4 days another. she only did 3 coats of gel on top of the nail. very brusque. the man did the pedi and although nails look good he ignored my request to file down the thick second toenail. will not go back... So disappointed, I have been going here for almost 3 years, every 3 weeks pedi and dip I have noticed over the last 2 months attitude has been grouchy, like they are doing me a favor. Today while counting money to pay cash (big deal with them to pay cash) Wilson announces I haven't given him enough money, I was still counting, really dumb, unprofessional and cold, then he walked off and wouldn't schedule my next appointment. She came back after a 3rd time in hopes to get them fixed. If I could pick negative stars, I absolutely would!!! I scheduled a fill with Wilson for Thursday, November 19. Upon arrival, I was advised I needed a full set (liquid gel on top of my natural nails) to which I agreed even though I'd now be paying $55. I pointed out some concerns that he assured me was not an issue. The next day I called him because my right thumb nail had separated so there was space between my nail and their product. I stopped there on my way back home (I don't live in Prescott) so he could fix it which he did by filing down my nail then adding glue. That fixed it, just not how I had hoped, and it was only temporary. Now fast forward 4 days. I call Tuesday to advise them that all my nails, with the exception of 2, have separated. The manager (did not catch her name) agreed to see me today, November 25, at 6pm to address my concerns. Remember, I don't live in Prescott but I came up a day early to be seen so this could be resolved. When I got there, I was directed to chair #3. I showed the lady the separation in my nails so she told me she'd fix them by adding glue and that it was happening because I was picking them apart. I told her I don't think after giving you guys $70 total ($55 nails, $5 foil on 2 nails and $10 tip) gluing my nails is an appropriate way to correct this?! She got up, helped out 3 customers who were done (even though there was other staff who could have taken care of them) just to come back to me to show me a paper that shows they reserve the right to refuse service. She told me my nails are separating because I'm picking at them, that I came in to get one fixed and now I want more even saying after this I'll be back for more. So you're telling me I paid this money to you so I could peel them off?? I've gotten my nails done this way for over 4 years and it's never happened before. She then chose to involve a customer asking her how long she'd been doing her nails with no problem. Pretty unprofessional to involve a customer if you ask me. I was then told that getting your nails done in Prescott is not the same as in Phoenix?! Ummm how is that?! I even said my lady uses the same gel product so how is that possible. She kept pointing to her refuse service notice that she has not that far from my face while I was mocked by her as well as Wilson saying I paid $60 dollars and want this done but glueing isn't good enough plus much more...I could not believe this was happening there especially after the good reviews I read!!! I signed up on Yelp just to do this review because the truth of people gets exposed when you least expect it. This is why customers are loyal to those that take care of them. I was not given the services I paid for even after 3 attempts nor was I offered any form of compensation, I was pretty much told to leave. I filed a dispute with my bank in effort to get my money back that way I can go to where I know I will be more than satisfied. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TD NAILS!! read more

I had a very bad personal experience with the female owner of this business, and then I was harassed by the male owner of the business calling me a liar on messages through Yelp. It was a terrible experience. The wife called my cell phone to harass me as well. So much so, that I had to delete my Yelp account and start over. At NO time have I asked for them to solicit advice to me, but that's what the female owner did and then got pissed off at me when I questioned the product she was telling me to use. Wilson (the owner) advised me by message that his clients were not happy with what I wrote on my previous review. Being honest, I loved this place and the manicures/pedicures were good. So I called to make an appointment. The day of my appointment I was having severe asthma and had to reschedule my appointment. The lady I spoke to was rude and not compassionate as to why I needed to reschedule. The day of my follow up appointment when I went in, the smell of nail polish was so strong that I had to leave. I explained my asthma to the guy at the front desk that I could not breathe in their salon due to the lack of ventilation and no a/c and he rudely said to leave and to never come back. Awful experience here, as others mentioned they have very rude staff. When I walked they immediately told me they do not do acrylics (no greetings or even asked what I needed whatsoever). I responded that I have dip (not acrylic) and then she stated well we are by appointment only. If that was the case, then why not just say this when I entered instead of wrongly assuming. Mercy did my mani/pedi and it was amazing! It's the best manicure I've had and her foot massage was awesome. The products she used were great. My nail enamel stayed on for 9 days! Their new salon is beautiful and very clean, also they have a huge selection of new OPI nail polish. I'm surprised that they even have Sunday hours but know that I will be taking advantage of those as I frequently run out of time for fitting in manicures and pedicures. This salon is relatively new and the interior shows it. It is very clean, tastefully decorated, has great chairs and plays soothing spa like music.A great place to revamp or just redo nails etc. The owners are refreshingly courteous, always accommodating to both their regular clients and their walk-ins. So refreshing not to be rushed and hurried. The owners as well as their techs do all their work beautifully. I'm happy they settled into their new location and offer a superior service. First time at salon. Went to get a powder dip mani and pedi. They are nice in here but it took me two hours to get the service done. Pedicure started right away but then I had to wait to get the manicure done after the pedicure and sit in a very uncomfortable chair. I started at 5:00 and was the only one left by the time I left. At the end it was clear everyone wanted to leave but were waiting on me so that was uncomfortable. I also asked why with a powder dip she was going to use the light box dryer. The main reason I don't get gel anymore is that the dryer is very bad for your hands. She said the coating that I wanted so that I didn't have to use the dryer was very expensive. She eventually took off the GEL coating to use the other more expensive coating. The salon is clean and the pedicure was really nice, just working out the quirks of timing I think. If you want the two services, plan on being there awhile. read more
