This was my first time going to VT Nails and I left somewhat happy because Vince did great job in pulling out an ingrown nail on my left big toe which was causing a lot of pain. However, I don't understand why he cut my nails round and extra short like a man's. Also, my thumb nail was filed crooked and leans to the left. Lastly, I selected a purple nail polish and ended up with an orchid color (hot pink) color. Place is dated and they use old dingy towels which explains the lower price in comparison to other salons. read more

I got my nails done here last Thursday (4/5days now). I usually get mine done in the valley but I called the day before to set an appointment for a full set and was told it would cost $55 for a UV gel full set and extra if I wanted to have a design. I previously had on dip which needed to be removed since they don't offer that service, and was asked what color I wanted. I showed them the design I wanted and asked if we could match the colors in the design (blue French tip). I was told they would only be able to do a white tip instead of blue so I opted to just have my nails painted regularly. The overall atmosphere was fine, and we made light conversation. The total came out to $65 which was more than expected but I'm assuming was because they had to remove my previous nails. I was definitely disappointed because normally if I was paying $65 I would have also gotten a design and then added a tip on top of that. The nails starting lifting after 2 days and I had to use nail glue to set them back down. It's been 2/3 more days and about 4-5 of my nails are lifting from the back. I would say this place will work in a pinch but I don't think I'll return. read more

This is my new favorite nail place! I've gone to good nail salons before and never felt like I should come back to one salon repeatedly, I usually go wherever, but this is definitely I place I'd stay loyal to. The owners were super friendly, talented, and quick. It's clean and well maintained with a comfortable atmosphere. I also have sensitive nails sometimes and they were able to clean my cuticles and file them without hurting me. The hours are good, as most places close the same time my work closes, so i could come in after i got out. I called after i left and they were able to take me in right away. I got a pedicure from Tina last month, went well so I returned on 4/19. While snipping skin, she cut/injured/caused pain & blood around my big toe. I said "Ow, that hurts!" I got no response whatsoever. She continued on while covering the injured toe with her thumb (either trying to hide it or applying pressure--as it was bleeding). Hopefully, I don't end up with an infection. I will never return to VT nails. Tina displayed a great lack of skill, along with no remorse or responsibility for her actions. My toe still hurts. I came in to get a pedicure around the summer time. It was so hot in there, I was sliding off the chair because I was sweating so much. They had fans rotating around and due to this, the nail polish was ruined. The people seemed very nice, so that's why I left 2 stars. I had been going here for approximately 3 years. Until recently. Lately I've noticed the place is getting dirty and cluttered. I even got a bacterial infection in my toe after a pedicure. They have a banner outside that states they use bowl liners in pedicure bowls but they don't now. Don't bother going here. read more

VT Nails I was so delighted when I found this salon, run by a husband and wife team (Vince and Tina). 2 weeks after my mani-ped, I went back for a mani today. Extremely unpleasant experience. Tina, who did my nails, was distracted, impatient, not a word (for me), let alone a smile... but plenty of both, plus continuous commentary, for her husband and other clients she recognized. In addition, I was horrified to hear her venting on politics, which she shared with the only other client in the salon (being served by Vince). She was totally insensitive to the feelings of others in the salon, i.e. me. Her rantings were truly over the top. I even left before my nails were dry. I would rather have chipped nails than hear her rantings. Someone should tell her that politics and religion are not subjects to be discussed in business. This business is obviously geared only to a certain type of client. I have to add.... The husband Vince, from what I've seen so far, is decent, courteous and nice. I am from out of town and my friend is from Louisiana .. we had to go to Prescott to visit her mother every time she comes into town I always wait and we do a pedicure together. well this is a husband and wife only establishment and they are owners.. we went because some people gave a good reviews on Yelp My friend had the man I had the wife My 5-year-old granddaughter could have done a better job on my feet than she did.... she never smiled ..she never interacted with me.. she did a half-assed job... My feet 3 days later look like they never were touched... I would not recommend this place whatsoever . now my friends toes look great he did a fantastic job but she was in a hurry ...she was as rude as rude could be If you go don't get her she never smiled now while I was getting my toes done another client came in to get her manicure and she had all smiles for her.. so no I don't recommend this place she started after the husband and was done with my feet before him 22 min pedicure.. I just want to get up and walk out... it was the worst experience I ever had... My manicure and pedicure turned out super well, and I love the job that Vince did. He made sure to check in at every step so that it was exactly what I wanted. He is very skilled. Such a special place. You walk into an oasis of orchids and dahlias. These two are always busy, yet always make sure to be extremely hospitable and welcoming. Conversation was fun and you just get the vibe that they love to do what they do. A friend and I came in for pedicures and they did not disappoint. My best friend and I decided to treat ourselves with acrylic nail almost a month ago and tried a different nail salon to our disappointment neither of us were happy with our results. My friend didn't want to go back no matter what nail salon it was. But after reading a few reviews for Vt Nails I convinced her to give it one more try. I could tell going in she was still very nervous. But she walked out with the biggest smile on her face. This is by far the BEST nail salon in Prescott. Tina and Vince were great. I recently moved to Prescott and after a long time debating if I wanted to get my acrylic nails put back on after the pandemic, I decided to try VT nails since it had such good reviews. I went there twice for nails; once for full set and once for fill and then one time for eyebrow waxing thus far. I have to say Ive never had a bad experience there yet and I've been to a lot of places for these things that either don't do as good of a job or they aren't as friendly. I usually have Vince and then Tina did my eyebrow wax. Vince is very friendly and has mentioned to me many times about how much he appreciates his customers. He's also great to work around your schedule with flexibility and the prices are pretty good compared to other places. Tina wasn't quite as friendly but I thought maybe there was a language barrier or something. I have not had a pedicure there yet so can not comment on that.
