I have had TD bank for years but the moment fraud happens, they will not help you. It doesn't matter what evidence you provide, you will not get it back. The customer service at the 3885 107 NW Ave location in Doral, Florida on August 5, 2025 was absolutely deplorable. I explained to the representative that I was in the military and needed two rolls of quarters to do laundry while I was here in Florida for a week on official government orders. He rudely told me that they would not condcut that type of transaction because I didn't have an account with this financial institution. I explained that I had my accounts through USAA being an active duty military member. Rather than assist a customer with such a simple task, he tried to sell me a product and open an account. Unfortunately this does speak very highly for TD Bank as it quite simply shows that they DON'T care for customer service but rather trying to enhance their quota. I would highly recommend taking your financial services to a professional institution that emphasizes customer care before anything. Unfortunately I will be exercising my freedom of speech and creating a mockery of this establishment and their complete lack of professionalism!! read more

I got there at 11:46 am today (07/01/2023) the ladies who do the customer service take too much time with every single customer, they talk about life, travels and a lot of things. My point is if you see that your bank is full of customers try to be diligent, no talk about the life si se you was a child. C'mon more common sense. After waiting almost an hour and a half the lady told us at 1:20 pm, I can't attend you because we close at 1:00 pm and we can't do any transaction because our bosses can complain us. Whaaaaaat? During this pandemic my husband and I have been using this bank and they've been very accommodating and helpful. We needed forms that required two people to be present but they allowed us to come separately as long as we showed valid ID. The staff were friendly and maintained proper distancing throughout our entire encounter. A great bank during these challenging times. read more

Today was truly a 1 star experience while trying to open a business bank account. It takes a lot more paperwork than it used to. I signed in at 1pm and stayed until after 5pm. I waited almost two hours and then needed an additional two hours to process my new account. Like most banks, TD is trying to cut down on fraud and Miami has a lot of that. Apparently, they made adjustments to their computer system and processes. It just takes too long to service each customer now. William entered my name, address, and business many multiple times and it seemed endless. So for that part, I can't blame William. He was the only one opening the accounts. Each customer gave him the evil eye for waiting so long (me included), but he tried his best and we got through it. But, this totally killed my Sunday. No one has 4 hours to spend at a bank. My best advice would be that if you have a few people ahead of you and there's only one clerk servicing them, forget about it. TD Bank is new to the area and since I already had a brokerage with TD Ameritrade I decided to check out their bank. First, this is not your typical bank - they are open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving. They also have extended hours from 7:30a - 8pm Monday - Saturday and 11am-4pm on Sundays. When I went into the branch I noticed it was super clean and super quiet. I talked with a teller about the fact that there is no customers. She stated that because of the extended hours they have plenty of customers (always looking for new ones!) but they are scattered through out the day. Clara helped me to open a checking account and got my VISA debit card, with my name and all on the spot! That's cool! I came back a few weeks later I returned to open an IRA (always need to save - right?!) Clara helped me again but there were some computer issues. She told me not to worry, she would handle everything as to not waste my time and I could simply return another day to sign everything. The next day she called and let me know that all the paperwork was done and just needed my signature. Easy enough. I stopped by after work, signed everything and viola - I had my IRA. Thanks Clara and the team there. They really make banking easy and simple! read more

This bank is probably the worse I have ever gone to and it's not even my bank, I'd handle some things for my boss and just to get them on the phone was impossible, how many employees do you have that not one person can answer the phone to at least just said "one moment please" or "hold on"it just rings until a voicemail. When it was Commerce, it was a great bank. Actually only recently have they become like all the other unfriendly, greedy banks. Alerts that you set up reach you after the fact, so they can charge you late fees - $35.00 PER transaction. Not uncommon to receive 2 or 3 of these if your account is overdrawn. Worst bank ever. I opened a business account, started depositing money, after 6 weeks at 4pm on a friday, they called and said they were closing it. I asked why, they said they didn't want to do have my business (I own vanilla adult websites that have been around for over 10 years with no issues, I also was very upfront with what the business was when I opened the account. At that time they were perfectly fine with it) I asked them why, they said it was high risk. So the banks pretty much tank our economy in 2008, but a business that has been around for over 10 years with no issues is now high risk. They gave me 1 day to close it, I had to yell, scream and holler to get a week as I had to switch all my direct deposits from my merchant accounts to my older bank. They gave me a cashiers check for the mid 5 figures that was in the account, refused to give me cash and refused to cash the check at their own bank. between this and their security issues with their atm/bank cards, I would recommend to anyone to go elsewhere. read more

I joined Commerce Bank late in 2008 located at the corner of Coral Way and Ponce de Leon. The bank was offering a $10.00 deposit certificate if you opened a FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT (can you imagine that happening today?) I went in and saw an impeccable place with very attentive people and very nice demeanor. Needless to say, I was thrilled about my new star bank. At Christmas time, Commerce Bank even gave away red ornaments and Santa's socks. I had never had as good a banking experience as the one from Commerce Bank. Well, it was nt to last. During 2009, I received a notice that Commerce Bank had been sold to TD Bank of Canada. Of course they reassured me that their level of services would remain unchanged and actually improved. Not so. Shortly after taking over, TD Bank announced that they had cancelled the free checking accounts and now there would be a minimum $15.00 checking fee every month, whether you had activity or not in your account. I had a little balance which soon turned into the negative (because of the recurring fees) and TD Bank actually charged me $20.00 overdraft fee when THEY caused my account to go into the red due to THEIR OWN FEES. Needless to say I closed my accoount the next day and will advice anyone to seek elsewhere for true free checking. read more
