Bad news. Adrian Manager of the bank along with a nasty attituded woman. I came in as a long time good business banking customer because I'm traveling Monday and had a issue with my personal account that was closed and needed to be reopened. The moment I set down with this woman I was instantly able to tell that she had already made up in her mind not to help me today. I asked for the manager so Mr. ADRIAN arrived sticking up for her and rejecting and shutting me down without even an attempt to help. Just saying they see notes on the account (which they refused to share with me or tell me any reason. ) and advised me they have to get in touch with the legal department about the notes and that this won't happen today. I immediately pulled out a bank check of $70,000 from my business account with Citi and will never he here or recommend this again. Horrible service. The staff tried to discourage me from running my bank errand. They told me it might take them 2-3 hours to see me, asked me to come back next week. Everyone from the manager on down hated working on a Saturday and were dismissing any and all customers. I regret doing business with them already. read more

Worst location. Tried to get a money order and they did not have access to process a money order. It was absolutely ridiculous.

If you're anything like me, you've become more and more dependent on your debit card and sometimes run out of cash and never usually have to think about it. That is until you're about to cross over onto the Venetian Causeway and suddenly it hits you, "OMG I have no cash." The easiest solution, don't cross over instead, at the intersection make a left, head back towards Biscayne and head north until you see Citibank. Once you see it hang a left and park inside their garage. Free, covered parking in downtown Miami is such a plus. I walked in, hit the ATM and then turned and realized the line was too long to wait for them to break a $20 into smaller bills. Pedro, one of the managers was standing nearby and he quickly asked me if I needed anything when I said I just want to change a $20 he took the bill and a minute later came back with my change. Yes, there was a $3 charge for using a Citibank ATM since that's not my bank but the parking and the customer service, plus the cash necessary Venetian Causeway make this place my new go to ATM in the area. read more

I had my doubts about opening an account with Citibank. Im my native country Citi was investigated for paying bribes to politicians. Anyways I moved into the neighborhood . And it was convenient. After 3 years. i Can honestly say Im so happy with this bank. I had Bank of America for 5 years. And It's not really the same. The Branch Manager George is extremely helpful. The staff is nice. I had a problem a year ago. My ex deciced to pay some bills with my money. When I noticed this I almost had a heart attack. All of my money was gone! George helped me through the whole process. I got all my money back, After a month of Citi investigating this theft. The same thing happened in my other banks, Chase And Bank Of America. And even though they all give me my money back. Citi was the most helpful and quickest to respond. Also I applied for a Citi bank credit card. And the points and rewards I get with this card are amazing! Citi forward is the card. read more

This location wasn't the issue. I called citibank to assist me and this is my story: I am extremely disappointed in Citibank. Earlier this week (more than three days ago), I poured my heart out to Citibank (on the phone) about my situation (my parents lost their homes, my island was devastated and between myself and my fiancé we have spent thousands to aid them. I asked if they can defer my due date to give me time to recover . They said they will defer payments until December and they are more than happy to assist. Not only was i shocked, i was so happy and felt supported. Today (9/22/17) i went to use my card and it declined. Surprised that my card declined (because i have a reasonable limit) i called Citibank. I spoke to a customer representative on the phone and they explained to me that my card was locked because i didn't make a payment. I explained my situation once more and they said, they can't help me until i make a payment. Eventually they said they will transfer me to billing. Currently I'm sick in urgent care waiting to see medical attention and needed to use the card ($50). These past few days were hell...no sleep, tired, stressed because i couldn't get in contact with my family after the storm and yesterday i went to a shelter to assist some of the patients that were evacuated from the Virgin Islands prior to hurricane maria to see what i can do to help them and also to deliver word to their families that they are safe. As I stand here in Urgent care i waited for the billing specialist. Once they answered they assured me that are sorry for my lost and i will be able to utilize my card. I felt some sense of hope. I handed my card again to the cashier and i was declined once more. I called Citibank back. I spoke to another customer service representative. This time i spoke to someone who could've cared less about what I've been through. Then i explained to him that billing told me i could use my card. He then explained to me that i needed 24-48 hours for the information on my card to be updated before i can use it. Then turned around and said, or you can make a payment now and it will allow you to use it. He even told me he can use the information on file from one of my accounts to make a payment so i can use my card. Not one ounce of sympathy. I kept calm and asked to speak to a manager. Jerod the manager was on the line and he explained the same thing to me (i need 24-48 hours for the file to update). I told him," i originally put in this request days ago (more than 3 days) and I had to do it again today. I am in desperate need of medical attention and you are saying there is nothing you can do to help me? " His response was ,"no it's systematic and there is nothing he can do." Not one bit of mercy or compassion. I told him thank you and hung up. I stood in urgent care devastated . I scrambled through my purse to look for any means on how to pay my bill. Not only am i hurt but i am extremely unhappy how i was treated. There was miscommunication on my account from my request i put in days ago and today i was unable to get help. How could you make that error and still turn me away? Let me tell you my life summary: within two weeks my hometown was stuck with 2 category 5 hurricanes . My entire family and friends lives there struggling with barely any water, food or resources. I am their resources at this point and now I can't do anything for them or anyone at this point. Incredibly rude and bad service. They did not make me wait because I got there first thing in morning, but the banking associate I was assigned to was rude, arrogant, slow and possibly a bit ignorant (or maybe just really slow). I have been going to that branch since it opened more than 10 years ago and had always had a nice experience with the staff and personnel there. I had never been assigned to this young man and it was, by far, the worst banking experience of my life. I love my bank! When my debit card was stolen I went into Citibank that very day and had a replacement within 10 minutes. I felt like they gave me the first piece to putting the puzzle back together.
