Chase Bank - Main entrance - in the lobby - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Miami, Florida

This bank SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I opened my account online. The same day, I made a check deposit with my phone for $1,000.00 drawn off another account in my name. The following day, my check cleared but the assholes at Chase placed a NINE day hold on my deposit because they "received information that my deposit might not clear." Whaaaa? I called the bank and they called on my deposit and released the funds. Day Three: Some asshole at Chase closes my account for "unusual activity," WTF is unusual? There was only one activity, a deposit. So, go to the branch. They know nothing. Nobody knows nothing. Finally, they call someone who says my account was closed, BUT, they'd be more than happy open me a NEW account right now. Bitch please. I walked out the door. This bank SUCKS!!!!!!! read more

I hardly ever go to a branch. Today I needed to ask for a form so I called the branch. The message told me that they are busy so they cannot help and to call later or call a 1-800 number. I called that number and after waiting for about 10 minutes the person told me he could not help amd they I needed to call the branch. I tried the branch again and just in case I tried another branch. I think they all have the same message and the are all too busy. I am 100% frustrated with Chase at this point. It seems like the only option I have is to take time off of my work day to drive to a branch and hope and pray that someone there is not too busy to help this customer of about 30 years!!! It is always a pleasure to be the first one to review a new business, and it is even a bigger pleasure when the experience has been as pleasant as the one I had at this bank. Let me first give you some background on how we got to Chase. My business partners and I own a Realty company in the Brickell area and for the last few years we have been bouncing around banks trying to find the perfect one. We first started with Bank of America but left them when we moved our office from North Miami to Brickell. Mainly because there were no convenient branches with free parking around us. We then moved over to Wachovia, it started out OK, but when they switched to Wells Fargo they began charging us for every single service to the point we felt we were being nickel and dimed. Then we went to Total Bank, the problem with them was that too many of their employees had a difficult time with English, every time we had an issue, the biggest obstacle to getting good customer service was the language barrier. So finally my two business partners and I ended up going to Chase Bank at 1450 Brickell Ave, a beautiful branch that recently opened less than a mile from our office, and met with Luis Arestegui and Jack Gonzalez, from the very start they were pleasant, respectful, and spoke English fluently. They spent literally hours with us as we opening a total of 10 accounts, 4 for our business, and 6 personal ones. They explained everything in minute detail, waived all fees for our personal accounts since we were opening business accounts, and made us feel as if we were the only customers in the bank. A few days later we had some issues with our on-line banking and went back to see Luis. He was busy with another customer but he acknowledge us right away. He came over to us asked us how we were doing, we told him what the problem was and he said he would take care of it as soon as he was done with his client. We left and less than 2 hours later the problems had been fixed. Finally, yesterday afternoon I tried to use my ATM card for the first time and the machine told me that my PIN was not correct. This morning I walked into the branch and Jack came over said hello and literally in 2 minutes he fixed everything, not only that but he walked me over to the ATM just to make sure my new PIN was working. As I drove away I felt like I was back home in Washington DC, I have not received this level of customer service in years, I just hope that Chase keeps Luis and Jack at this branch for a very long time, they are by far the best bankers I have come across in the 16 years I have lived in Miami. I LOVE this Chase Bank Branch. My business partners and I opened personal and business accounts in 2012 after banking with several other large banks. Chase is really the best. They offer a lot of options at very reasonable prices. The customer service at this location is amazing. We opened accounts with Luis Arestegui who is still working at this location. He says hello whenever he sees me walk into the bank. I have had to call him on a few occasions and he always is able to answer my questions and resolve any problems right away. Recently, I had a question about a charge and e-mailed him. He e-mailed back immediately. I was expecting a reply within 24 hours, but immediately just blew my mind. I go to the bank about 2 times a week. I frequently deal with Elmer, who is a Teller. Many times, I have to go to the bank late in the day, just 5 to 10 minutes before they close. Elmer is always very pleasant and never makes me feel rushed. I cannot recommend Chase Bank enough. They are INCREDIBLE! read more

I do not know if the most of the people are blind or what is happening.... This bank treat you great, smile all the time, it is the real american way, but........ you are not a customer for them, you are their slaves. They charge you for everything. I opened an account with them, they talked to us for more than 2 hours, with coffee and everything, all was great, but less than 2 months after that, the most of the thing they told to us was not. MORGAN Chase is looking for more profit for themselves, always, and you does not care to them at all....only while you have a coin for them to get. I am moving just now to a credit union bank or something like that, if not I prefer not to work with any other nasty entity who looks to us like numbers and sheeps. read more
