    Opening a checking account was easy. I was attended to just a few minutes after taking a seat in…read morethe waiting area. Their friendly service rep was able to get my new checking account and debit card right away. Their app makes it very convenient to check your balance and conduct transactions online. I pay all my bills this way and have never had any issues. They integrate seamlessly with third party companies such as Trustly and Aeropay which makes deposits instantly available on your balance while the transaction is still pending. While they are very secure, I found one of their new safety measures to be inconvenient. I went to pick up a copy of my bank statement and the security guard informed me that I needed to scan a QR code on my phone in order to enter. This is the only bank where this has happened to me. I had to return home and come back which I found frustrating. Their ATM's are available 24 hours a day. They have three kiosks inside where you can conduct quick transactions. Be forewarned that if you visit after hours when there is nobody inside you will be without any customer support if you run into a problem. I went to deposit cash and the machine wouldn't return my debit card. There were no warning signs stating the machines were broken and I was stuck there with another customer who had the same issue. On another occasion I was fortunate enough to have the security guard come out and abruptly warn me not to put money in the ATM right when I was about to insert cash in the machine. I was able to complete my transaction at the front desk thankfully.

The app is so inconvenient it takes you at least an hour to reset the password and the staff is most nonchalant to your concerns. The method of solving any problem of yours is most often "I can do it for you" - no. Your business hours are from 9-6 and my hours of living and operating from day to day spans far beyond those hours. I should be able to have the convenience of doing things on my own 24/7 - in a simple and convenient non hassle way! They need to step up with their banking, attitude and proactive methods of going about solving issues. In this location there is only one ATM machine and often have 4-5 people waiting to use it. Nothing spells inconvenience better than this location. I walked in to close my account today and Thank God. I will never be opening another. I'm a busy student and I need convenience and practical methods of dealing with my banking issues that arise in even the simplest things like resetting my password. When I told the personal banker that I needed to close my account, the only thing he could say was "can I ask why", and it wasn't exactly what he was saying, but more about how he said it, it came across like something he rehashed when going over his personal banker's manual 101 but in reality it sounded as if it lacked sincerity, empathy or concern- try again. Maybe If they seemed to care a bit more i would have considered staying. It wasn't surprising that when I went back to work my co-worker told me she cancelled her account over the same password issue earlier this morning. Seems to me that they could care less about customers leaving and that is very apparent. Deuces Wells. Never looking back.

I sometimes go to the Tenafly Branch and there is a better chance of them accepting deposits but not always. I have started to use TD Bank. They are always convenient, have had live tellers to speak with through video phones. A number of residents in my building are fed up with Wells Fargo as well.

I managed to find parking right in front, which already felt like a small miracle in the Bronx. I was helped in the teller window by Tania and Edwin and everything just flowed from there. They listened to what I needed, they were quick, clear, and took the time to explain the time frames that were important for my transaction so I knew exactly what to expect They were patient and provided me with great service. I was in and out. Would not hesitate to return to this location.

    Came in today and was using my phone to look up some financial information I needed before getting…read morein a teller line. As I entered, the "greeter" lady standing at the bank entrance didn't even acknowledge me in a friendly way. Instead, she stared at me like I was a criminal and gave me the evil eye as if I shouldn't be in the bank. She kept staring at me, treating me in a suspicious manner until I finished with my phone. I then stated, "I was looking up some financial information I need for this bank visit," which she completely ignored as she marched off without even greeting me. It's pretty apparent that this location needs to invest in some customer service training for their door staff (or, at the very least, the lady who was working the front door at 11:45a on May 3, 2017). On a positive note, the teller who helped me was super friendly and very helpful.
