I'm shocked at how rude the staff is. At closing time one night last week during a school fundraiser, the young man literally yelled at my family and the other family to get out of the store! And the snotty blonde girl behind the counter made a rude comment on top of it. I understand they're under new ownership, but sadly it looks like the quality of the service is taking a dramatic turn for the worse. Go to Cold Stone. It's a block away, and the kids working there treat their customers with respect. read more

Our favorite ice cream place to go to after school or a soccer game. The staff is so nice and friendly. I was in the hospital and my partner was getting soft serve for me and he FaceTimed me and handed them the phone and they helped me get my order perfect! Lots of topping options and great flavors. Very cool decor. My daughter loves the ice cream chairs. And at Christmas they have the coolest ice cream themed tree. We love getting ice cream during the summer and sitting and playing in by water fountain outside. read more

TCBY brings me back to my youth. This is one of the first places I recall as a child, mixing different flavors. My friends and I would come here after school. I would come here with my family when after shopping at Kroger down the block. This TCBY serves as a local hangout for neighbors. We all have fond memories of TCBY. read more

Love the frozen yogurt here, but good gosh does it smell gross in there. Stopped going there because it hits you right in the face and I lose my appetite. I'm not sure if it's a rancid sof-serve yogurt machine in there or what, but it's a combination of sweaty feet, BO, moldy towel locker room, and chlorine. read more

I frequent this TCBY often, as I live fairly close. Everything is great with the cleanliness, friendly staff, good service and delicious ice cream!! The only reason why I took off a star, however, is because the topping bar is not self serve, like the one on Mack- which is a reason why I prefer the Mack location better. That will not stop me from coming here though, it is just a preference! read more

This place does a lot of business here on the main drag of Grosse Pointe - it's invariably crowded with kids, and/or parents with kids. Sometimes there is a considerable wait, but the counter help is pretty efficient, and keeps things moving. It's another store in the TCBY chain of stores, and so 99% of what you see and get here is what you would expect at any TCBY location in the U.S. The variables are the help (helpful and courteous here), and the way the store is kept up (clean and presentable here). So this is so funny.... My BF and I had just finished eating some yummy Thai down the street and I say "martian i want some frozen yogurt" so we scurry over to the TCBY and this is what he says to the girl as he is looking at all the choices in the cooler.. "so this is all yogurt?" the sweet teen working looked at my space cadet BF with this look like "seriously" but she so politely said "sure is, what can I get for you?" I stood there laughing out loud thinking what kind of ninny goes to TCBY and asks if the yogurt is yogurt!! ahahahahaa!! He got the mint chocolate chip and LOVED it!! I got the chocolate peanut butter and as always it was sinfully good!! I love TCBY they are few and far between on my side of town so I have always been pretty loyal to this one. Super clean and the service is always really great and friendly. I love that you can get pints and quarts to take home with you too!! But my fat butt doesn't need to take that home I need to job home to work off all the wonderful tasty calories!! Keep up the great work TCBY my goof ball BF and I love you!! read more

Its a great location for a TCBY I often go to the wonderful park down the street and stop here after with the kids. Its nice that they have healthy options available like the Greek yogurt that I get for my little guy with fresh fruit. read more

What an amazing place. One of the cleanest I have been in considering how much business they do during the hours between 5 and 9 pm. I am used to working in a very busy environment from my past jobs, so I would like to think I have a pretty good idea of a clean establishment when I see one. Every time I go in during these busing hours I'm always thinking to myself "one of these time I am going to see the place extremely dirty due to all of the kids and people passing through." Ive been going to this location since I was a little kid and the service has always been excellent. But tonight was by far my absolute BEST experience at this location..I went in tonight to get a pint of my favorite (white chocolate mousse) and while being served by the employee/manager, Ashley, we were having a nice little chat about our day and I had mentioned I was an EMT. When I went to hand her my card to pay, she thanked me for my service and told me she would be paying for it! Her appreciation and generosity truly meant the world to me! Ashley gave me the best customer service I've EVER had, not just there but anywhere! Even if she hadn't paid for my ice cream, I still would've given her a 5 star review. Very fantastic, my yogurt had a fond taste. My favorite part was the chocolate rocks, they melt in your mouth. The water had a Distinguished taste that satisfied my thirst. Definitely recommend for people that love ice cream! read more

I was in the Village on 11-9-17 shopping and stopped in for a small yogurt. I arrived via the back door. I get up to the counter and noticed they had soft serve and hand dipped yogurt. I decided on a small chocolate soft serve, even though I was thinking of getting a topping. The girl even asked if I wanted a topping. I paid $4.80 something for a small frozen yogurt in a cup, which I thought was a lot. I sit down and notice a sign on the window at the front door that says $2.99 happy hour parfait and shivers during happy hour of 3-6. I was there at around 4/4:15 on a Thursday. I did not see any signage of the "happy hour" at the back door. I would have been better off getting that deal even if I had them ring it up as a parfait with no toppings. I paid a lot more for a small plain yogurt. I am disappointed that the girl didn't mention it. Also, $4.80 is a lot for a small, plain yogurt. read more
