Poorly done residential drywall repair/paint/texture. Visible flaws--drywall gaps, uneven hiding & coverage, brush/roller/tool marks, obvious dents & dings, cruddy edges, "skyline" effect around objects not moved; left notable smudges & debris. NOT professional quality work. Errors over many visits and mult. workers, not a one-off bad day. Main worker was on time, polite, meant well--but inexperience compounded issues. When work was inspected (only on request), owner argued the timing and descriptions w/o listening to content, stressed time spent not the poor quality output, dismissed problems--then, attempts to correct some issues added new flaws. Finally, an experienced associate painter (not family) was sent to correct one small area. He described the crew's work as a "r*** & run"--noted their blatant disregard, saw all areas as improperly prepped, novice, rushed--and re-did much to reach minimal standards. The remaining contract was dissolved w/a disproportionately small discount for unfixed problems they created. Owner's comment that he "hates doing this work" was apparent. Disappointing. Company was suggested by a colleague I respect who knows the owner personally but seemed unaware of his business conduct.
**Note: Associate painter was unreliable on other jobs--clearly overextended and unable to manage stress--blew up and left main project untouched and others incomplete after 3+ months' delays. read more
