Inspired LED - Accent lighting for the office

These guys are incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable and will take the time to discuss any projects that you are having. They're willing to also talk over the phone if you have further questions too. Quality lighting is very important so make sure you get the right equipment from the right locations this is it.

During a recent kitchen remodel, I was looking for some LED lighting to install under the kitchen…read morecabinets. I wasn't really impressed with anything I'd seen at stores like Lowe's or Home Depot. A few websites and online stores did offer LED solutions, but once you began to consider that you'd need to order power supplies, dimmers and other hardware, the concept of LED work surface lighting and under cabinet lighting became an expensive one. I then came across this company, Inspired LED. I saw some of their products listed on Amazon.com; Almost everything they sold had good reviews and high ratings from their customers, and a few reviewers also took note of this company's exceptional customer service. I went directly to this company's website and ordered a few sets of their warm white "Super Bright 21 LED Deluxe Kits". Each kit got me 3 10 inch LED strips, each with 21 warm white LEDs, all the mounting screws, connecting cables and cable organizing clips I'd need, plus the power supplies which were included. I also ordered a dimmer for each kit from this company's accessories page. I felt the price was fair for what I got, shipping and tax were included in the purchase price, and the merchandise I ordered arrived to me via USPS priority mail within 2 days. When I got the LEDs I'd ordered, I saw some other products in the enclosed literature that I didn't see on their website. I called the company, explained that I might prefer the fixtures I saw in the literature they sent, and the guy who answered said "No problem, send the LEDs you have back to us and we'll exchange them for what you want". In the end, after chatting with him and getting more details I decided to keep the ones I'd ordered, but it was great that they were immediately willing to exchange what I bought if I'd wanted to. While the LEDs this company sells aren't the brightest I've seen, and the "warm white" LEDs aren't the best version of warm white (they could do with a "color correcting" amber LED every several segments to make it look more like the color range you might get from a warm white incandescent lamp), these are more than adequate for my needs, the price was fair, and they should serve my needs for the next several years, as LEDs are expected to last for 50,000 hours or more at full intensity.

I had 2 different companies come out and both told me I would need a whole circuit replacement or such and just a "commercial diagnostic" would be around $1200 according to the other companies I asked. So i told them i would look around and happened to come across Turn it on Electric. I sent a quote message and got an INSTANT response and they even had someone come out in about an hour from my call to them. Amazing service and Technician, Logan, was very friendly and informative. Im just glad they were able to come out so fast, find the issue and fix the issue before our business hours so that we could operate our restaurant. I can't thank you guys enough for your help today and how much it means for us to open our business! Would 100% call again for any issues and recommend as well. Pricing is pretty expensive but because this was an emergency case I completely understand and it was still reasonable compared to other companies.

I am extremely disappointed with Turn It On Electric and will never use this vendor again or…read morerecommend them to anyone. Charging $285 for a fix that took literally two minutes, without ever disclosing that minimum charge upfront, is the kind of business practice that makes me want to warn every homeowner I know. I want to share my full experience so others can make an informed decision before booking with this company. I had a bathroom outlet in my rental home that wasn't providing power -- it was newly installed about a year ago and this was the first time I tested it. I called to schedule an appointment, and the person I spoke with walked me through scheduling and availability but at no point mentioned that they have a $285 minimum service charge, regardless of how simple the job turns out to be. The electrician arrived and diagnosed the issue almost immediately: a switch/breaker in the main panel had simply been left off. He flipped it back on, tested the outlet, and confirmed it was working -- the entire fix took just a few minutes. Despite the simplicity of the issue, I was charged the full $285 minimum. I understand service calls have overhead, but I feel strongly that a charge this significant should be communicated clearly at the time of scheduling, not after the technician has already been to my home and the work is done. Had I known about the $285 minimum in advance, I would have asked more questions or looked elsewhere. I'm not disputing the technician's professionalism. My issue is entirely with the lack of upfront pricing transparency.
