The avocado egg rolls remind me of childhood! After all these years they still taste just as good…read more They come on a bed of crunchy noodles, and my daughters loved munching on these. Also need to give a big shout to the coconut mojito which was so delicious. The drink didn't have much alcohol in it (womppp) but at least it was tasty. Oh, of course bread is obviously a huge highlight at CF too. We shared a few other small plates and everything was just okay. The spinach artichoke dip definitely tasted frozen and not fresh. Pigs in a blanket were solid and came with a delicious mustard dipping sauce. Chicken tenders were very bland, and even my chicken tender loving 3 year old wasn't interested. Our server was sweet and friendly. They do a massive amount of business and on a Saturday at around 5 it was completely packed. There are so many other restaurants in this complex, but most seem to be a bit fancy for small kids. Given this I can definitely see why there were a ton of families eating here.

Pleasantly surprised - we went for a Sunday lunch and service was fast and prompt. We ordered fish…read moreand chips and the skinnylicious lemon garlic shrimp pasta. I am still dreaming about that pasta - if you love lemon and garlic, this is a pasta for you. I never have never thought this was less than 600 calories. My husband's fish and chips were crispy and fried well. Coleslaw despite beyond mayo based was light and refreshing. Preferred sitting in the restaurant compared to the 2 patios.

For context: I went on a Friday morning at 10am…read more I've been to Turning Point before but never to this Paramus location. There was plenty of parking in the lot and when I went to their website to "Get in line" it said there was no wait for a party of my size (2). I was pleasantly surprised to see that was truly the case and we were seated right away. The restaurant had a cool vibe and was spotless. Our waitress could not have been nicer and our drink and food orders were taken right away. My iced coffee took a little longer than my mom's hot coffee to come out and she kept me updated with its progress which was appreciated. I ordered two lemon blueberry pancakes which came with warm syrup. They were delicious and for such an elevated breakfast it was a relief to see they were only $8.50. My mom got the Wilbur's skillet with egg over hard and she was pleased with her meal as well. We will definitely be returning!

After a hard-earned 5K, brunch never looked so good…read more My friend and I were more than ready to refuel, so we headed to Turning Point of Paramus for a late brunch. I was honestly surprised that at 2pm on a Sunday there was still a wait for just two people--but that usually says something about a place's popularity. Once seated, the restaurant was clean and well-kept, and our server was attentive throughout the meal. The only hiccup was the coffee--it took a bit longer than expected to arrive, which felt extra noticeable since we were craving a caffeine boost post-race. That said, the Marshmallow World cold brew was worth the wait and hit the spot perfectly. Food-wise, no complaints. I ordered The Goat omelet, which paired really nicely with the cold brew. I especially appreciated that they offer gluten-free bread--always a win when places make that effort, and it didn't feel like an afterthought. Parking is plentiful, which is a big plus for this area. Just a heads up: depending on traffic, getting on and off Route 4 can be a little tricky. The only downside? They close at 3pm, so our post-run brunch felt a little rushed--we definitely would've lingered longer if time allowed . A winning post-5k brunch that makes the early miles totally worth it.
