My complaint is I did not get an estimate from Curt or a second opinion. I found Taylor's plumbing online, keep the money local. Tanner arrived and found more floor needed to be taken up to do the toilet flange replacement correctly. Tanner rescheduled for next day. Great. Curt arrives next day to do the ROUTINE toilet flange replacement. Curt completes the job in 45 minuets. Great. I meet Curt at his truck to pay, I have $20 in my hand for a tip. Curt hands me a bill for $780. Curt labeled the flange replacement a "custom job." It was not custom by any definition. I don't know if I was charged for the day before when Tanner could not do the work. The bill stated "custom job $780.00 plus tax. No breakdown for parts and labor. Parts were 1 pvc toilet flange, 1 pvc 3 inch 90, 1 3 inch pvc union and approximately 2 feet of 3 inch pvc pipe. I will guess on the heavy side for parts at $75. So labor was $705 for the 45 minuets of work. Neurosurgeons in Washington state average $378 an hour. I called Curt the next day. Not much to be said about the bill. Get the estimate, get the second opinion! I'm an idiot. I kept the $20. I need to give a star rating. 5 for the work and friendly employees. it would be very difficult not to complete the job. 1 for hourly rate and billing practices. Rhett read more

We had Taylor's do an emergency drain clean out for us and the two guys they sent, Tanner and Kurt, were great. I asked Taylors for a quote for some additional work later. I accepted the quote and scheduled the work. It involved making some plumbing pipe changes, adding a house shut off valve, and expansion tank. Tyler installed a tankless water heater in our home. A flaw on the install was the service valve which is used for annual maintenance was installed too close to the gas line, so I had to buy an adapter in order to attach a water hose to the service valve for the maintenance. Tyler promised the first annual maintenance to be done by him for free, but he never replied to my calls, texts, or emails. I even offered to pay full price for the maintenance, but still never a reply. If you have a tankless installed, be sure to perform annual maintenance on it; these need cleaned and descaled. If you had Tyler install it, you may need to learn how to do this yourself. read more

Had to call Taylor's back out again four years later to clear the kitchen drain again. I texted yesterday morning and was scheduled for 10-12 today, which was great. This morning, they told me they could come at 9, which was even better. Tanner and Nate showed up and got to work. After switching to a longer snaking tool, it broke before the clog was cleared. They offered me the choice of switching companies or working with them to come back later. I explained that I have company coming to stay for a week and really needed my kitchen sink/dishwasher functioning. Since I've had great experience with them before, I asked them to try and work out coming back by first thing tomorrow morning. Within a half hour, they texted that they could come back today between 1-3. I was expecting to have to wait at least until the end of the day, if not tomorrow. They came back as promised with a new tool and got the drainline fixed. Even though this had delayed them, they took time to reconnect the under-sink piping I had taken apart before their arrival and to clean up well. Very nice people to work with. They were respectful of my home and went above and beyond to give me practical suggestions for keeping the drain in running order. Just wanted to take a minute and sing the praises of a local business in the Snohomies community. My wife and I came home last night to a flooded garage from our water heater failing on us.
