We hired Taylor Moving for a whole house move the week of Thanksgiving. The movers made what was a stressful situation a very pleasant one. They immediately and efficiently packed our belongings and loaded the truck. When we were notified that the new house was not ready, proprietor Brad Taylor made arrangements to warehouse the truck overnight. Though our move was delayed by half a day, the movers helped to make our experience a good one. They were polite, thorough, and reassuring at a difficult time for us. Communication is critical, know what to expect from the moving company. Brad kept in contact with us as the move progressed, and he encouraged us to call him as needed. In 1999, Taylor moved me from Pinckney to Brighton. I liked that they came back a week later to rearrange our furniture. In 2003, Brad from Taylor packed up our stuff from 3 locations and delivered it to our cabin up north. In 2008, I recommend my parents call Brad, and they boxed up a lot of breakables and delivered them from AA to Brighton. My Mom was happy. In 2017, they moved my parents stuff to their storage unit, and helped get it picked up and sent to Florida. They made special boxes out of styrofoam for delicate antique furniture. Taylor Moving did a great job moving my family from Ann Arbor to northern Michigan. The moving team was professional and worked quickly and efficiently. They arrived on time, took care with our possessions and after packing the truck took our items to a storage unit in Gaylord. The owner, Brad, told me the size of storage unit to get and sure enough everything fit in there perfectly. When we moved into our new home, nothing was broken, dented or scratched. I moved in the fall from my home to a senior condo. Taylor Moving had the best hourly rate in the area. When the movers arrived they were patient as I still had a few unpacked items. I would have called the owner of the company to complain but the employees appear to be such degenerates that I feared for personal retribution. Do NOT use this company! read more
