My stylist was Emily…read moreB. and she was very efficient with booking, directing me on how to find the salon because Apple Maps took me to an empty building, and she did wonders for me. I was really nervous because I didn't have a test run with her prior to my wedding day, but she did everything exactly like I wanted. I got an updo, and the updo stayed perfectly all night throughout my wedding. She also adjusted my hair to be in tune with my headpiece. I wanted simple, natural looking makeup and I couldn't have been more happier. She knew exactly what she was doing, and how to highlight features. It turned out so nice, and wasn't thick or cakey! The makeup stayed throughout the night too! I'd recommend her!!

Jen was very nice and did a fair job on my hair and makeup. The reasons for 3 stars (honestly…read morewould've given 3.5 if it let me): 1. The colors used for my eyeshadow I didn't love. I tend to like chestnut browns and gold with a cut crease when getting my makeup professionally, but she didn't do a cut crease and she used a dark grey eyeshadow for the corner of my eyes. Not the most flattering combo and I had to ask her to add some gold to brighten up my eyes a bit 2. She was about 15-20 mins getting started on my hair and makeup, and was also late for her next. Appointment as a result. I think communicating ahead of time that you're running behind would have been appreciated. 3. When she started styling my hair she said she wanted to do large Hollywood curls... these were basic curls. Looked nice but wasn't the vision she pitched. You can see it didn't turn out bad, but definitely not a very high end place but charges decently high prices in my opinion.

I went to the location, the lights were out, the door closed, but not locked. I stayed outside as I didn't feel comfortable going inside a closed business. A fellow named Ryan came by to grab something from the salon and told me I could wait inside. He told me my stylist would be there. Waited until 3:10, left a note and left, after turning off the lights and closing the door. I have since received an email from my stylist indicating she texted me that she would be late. I didn't receive the text and with my dinner plans, didn't have a choice but to run home and wash and style my own hair. I had such hope for this place........totally disappointing!!

Seems like it would be no big deal, but actually very stressful! I called common hair salon because it's pretty close to the proximity of where I live. The receptionist was incredibly nice and crazy enough (this never happens!) they had an appointment that same day with Tonya! My natural hair color is quite dark, but I have gone blonde for years because I have a lot of gray growing in and it just seems to grow out and blend better, I also have enough hair for probably three people on my head, and so requires a lot of foils and a lot of patience for a full highlight. Tonya had a great consult, ultimately I said "I trust you, and I'm easy" when it came to her process and what toner and products she was going to use. I could not be happier! Number one she is incredibly fast and her attention to detail is brilliant. Number two she is fun to talk to, she's a normal person, no ego, and we had a great time connecting. And number three she obviously knows what she's doing with color/blondes and has a ton of experience. I already rebooked with her. She did a great job. I am 100% happy with the outcome! Pricing is a lot, not gonna lie about that, it was high $300's; anyone with blonde color preferences knows you get what you pay for though. The salon itself was loud, bustling, had a good vibe, I enjoyed my time in the chair =)
