This firm does not provide a link on their website for clients to write reviews. Now I know why. While I did not have issues with the Enrolled Agent who actually prepared my 2023 taxes, I did have an issue with the owner. She did not respond to numerous emails nor did she return numerous calls. When I finally reached her, she failed to take responsibility for the firm's error. Details: I left their offices on April 4, 2024 with taxes completed (or so I thought) and envelopes they provided pre-addressed to the IRS with instructions on how to make required quarterly payments. At the check-out desk, I asked if that was everything I needed to do and was told "yes." On May 29, I received notices from the City of Portland (Multnomah County Preschool and Metro Supportive Housing) for overdue balances (plus penalty and interest) totaling $4,695.03. Of that, $610.03 was due to penalties and interest. I paid but then started my attempts to contact the firm to find out why I had not been advised about these charges and/or given additional envelopes to submit my payments. It was not until JULY that I was actually connected with the owner, "Kristi," who was rude, long-winded, and dismissive. Her best offer was a $200 credit on the next two years of tax preparation. (Obviously I will not be going back!) Instead of the $610 penalty and interest I was charged by Portland, I said -- as a compromise -- I would accept $400 in cash. She responded "no," that she had "a business to run" and hung up. I lost $600 and lots of time. I was treated rudely and unfairly. I do not recommend this business. read more

Absolute freak show. First preparer wore a Micky Mouse tee shirt and munched on Hostess donuts and candy throughout our meeting. Second preparer was a mumbling stumbling fool who couldn't answer any of my questions. Both of these freaks claimed to be former auditors. Yikes! The icing on the cake was when I spoke with a woman who claimed to be an owner/manager. Her phony concern was betrayed by her crazy and very odd demeanor and the lack of follow-up. Her breath smelled like a sewer. Beware of this firm. It seems like they have grown way past their competencies. read more

A very unprofessional, expensive mistake. Every possible thing that would have gone wrong, did. DO NOT GET ANY WORK DONE BY TAX AND FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS. Still dealing with how to fix so many mistakes and send them to be re-done by competent people. Don't return emails, a month late, no billing agreement (they just send a list of documents completed and a seemingly arbitrary number at the end of our harrowing ordeal.) I wish I could leave zero stars. There was nothing positive about our experience with Kristi, Don or any support staff we interacted with. I wholeheartedly agree with the other person who sadly had to deal with these incompetent fools. After sending my 2015 taxes in to get amended for both my daughter and my self/spouse, I sent emails and phone calls requesting that they get amended. After several months, I received notices from the IRS to pay over $3,000. Tax and Financial Solutions still had all my documents. They told me to just follow the IRS instructions and pay the bill! After 4 months, they still had not completed my amendments. When I compiled a history of emails showing repeated requests to simply do and file my amendments, going unfulfilled, the owner asked me to come in and meet with her. I was expecting her to have it all done and apolgize! Nope! She told me we should have been talking on the phone rather than email! I was gobsmacked when she told me that they STILL HAD NOT STARTED my amendment! She said they had completed my daughter's and filed it. Today we got an IRS notice saying she now owes $750 more. I cannot believe how these people stay in business. I understand a hiccup, a mistake, a delay. But you make it right for the customer and apologize. Their customer service stinks as bad as their ability to correctly complete your taxes! Stay away! read more
