They told me to bring in letters from the IRS and Oregon Department of Revenue which I did. Peterson was terrible about communicating with me. I had to call the Oregon Department of Revenue myself when Peterson said they would for me. The person I talked to told me no communication with them and Peterson had taken place. I assume the same was true from the IRS. Peterson would rarely call me back when asking questions or needing an update. The employees are unprofessional and lack knowledge. My financial advisor needed a CPA to calculate my yearly distribution amount. I was told that there would be no charge but she lied and charged me anyway. I hope this helps other people avoid Peterson tax services to save money and aggravation.

Their office had reached out previously to verify the mailing address, and I offered to forward that email because we didn't receive the W-2s until well into February. I then received a call back from an employee who described my email as "very cute." When I asked what was cute about it, she responded in a condescending tone, saying, "Had you looked for yourself, you would have seen you could print them yourself from the portal." Today, I received another call from the same employee. As I answered, she was speaking in the background to someone else about our account. During the call, she repeatedly cut me off, would not let me speak, and was rude, condescending, argumentative, and extremely unprofessional. She even stated she would remove me from the account, despite having no authority to do so. Based on this treatment, I cannot in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.
