Was still planning on doing service with Tavos Auto Glass since I originally made the agreement to use them. Big mistake, should have gone with my gut feeling. I still decided to use their service despite the fact. Two and a half hours with an appointment ... where they do that at? Never again! Had to use Google Translate because the gal at the front desk doesn't understand English. This business was painful to deal with to say the least... I had to get my front windshield and rear window replaced due to the recent hailstorm. I was recommended this place by a coworker and made an appointment over the phone which took a long time due to communication issues which are highlighted in other reviews as well. I was told that the final price after taxes and everything in cash would be $510 for the front and back. When I arrived for my appointment and after confirming with them over the phone 3 times that they have both my front windshield and back window after an hour I was notified that they did not have the back window and I had to come back a few days later. The installation seems to be ok but there was black adhesive on my handle and other places in my car. There was also a utility blade left on top of my car (see picture). When I came back the next day, I was told it was going to be a 2 hour wait max which ended up being 3+ hours. The top of my trunk was also severely scratched in multiple places which is hard to see in the picture and there is still a bunch of glass everywhere in my backseat and in my trunk. The cherry on top was that I was charged $530 instead of the original $510 price I was told. If you want an affordable place to get your windshield/windows replaced, this place may be ok for you but do not expect a good job. read more

Think Twice!!! This place does very low quality work. I had my windshield repaired when I got into my car, there was damage to my seat. They broke part of the bottom, half of my seat and threw the piece. They broke into the backseat. There was oil fingerprints all along the interior of my windshield as well as scratches to my leather seat and scratches to my dashboard. when I have this solved, I was told I would receive a call back. Never did I hung up multiple times I was lied to about that. They wanted me to come in to get my car out for repair and when I report to the BBB they lied and said that they had reached out to me multiple times to repair the damage that again was another lie . do not use this company. Very low quality job and customers support. This company replaced my window and the job was done awful. Window doesn't stick to the seal anymore, there's a gap there, water comes inside and I can hear wind blowing there. Also the job wasn't done clean at all. Glue is everywhere - on the glass and plastic. I called a few times and asked them to fix, and I only heard that they will call me back and every time no one called back. They replaced my windshield on july 10 and it wasnt installed correctly, there is a strong whisling sound coming from windshield! I went there 3 times for them to refix it and they couldn't solve the issue and they broke my my car's side part caused more damages! Techinicians suck working overthere. Their price is cheap but they cant get the job done, so pay more and have it fixed somewhereelse! My car was range rover and Now i have to get new parts and find another company to replace windshield again. I wish i have read the rewievs before i went to this company. DO NOT GO there. Nobody cares about covid-19 overthere. I own a company I have a fleet of vehicles, we have used this company a couple times and every time the quality is horrible and the customer service is by far the worst I've encountered . They installed a $900 window on my Volvo $900! and they did not install my window right . The window leaks and now I have damages to my vehicle. I've called several times and texted several times and still nothing has been done to fix it . It's been 4 months since the install . They left peaces of my old window on the ground of my driveway . They keep saying they will call me back and no one does . When I call back they leave me on hold for 10 to 15 minutes hoping I will just hang up . It's clear they do not honor their warnty. I went in for a quote and was told it was doable but its a long job and would take approx. 4 hours to complete. I scheduled for 3 weeks out so I could request the day off from work bc I don't have 4 hours to spare during the week. The day before the appointment, I get a call that the technician is not going to be in and we have to reschedule. I was annoyed and voiced how inconvenient that was. I told them Id have to call back to reschedule as I don't have open availibitly. They called me back and said never mind someone will be here. I show up to my appointment only to get told by the SAME women who told me it was fixable and who scheduled my appointment that the job is NOT doable and since its a factory window it would be too risky to do and she doesn't want us suing her if they were to crack the window. I was super confused as SHES the one who told me it could be done. She kept saying things like "well what did THEY tell you last time" and I would have to correct her and say YOU told us this.... she ended up taking my truck to the back. She came out and told us the tech said the truck had been quoted before and the would be able to do it. She asked me to leave my truck there over night, I refused as I don't have another car to get to work. She said it would take 4 hours and they started the repair. It ended up taking 2 hours and about $40 more then initially quoted but I was just happy to be getting out of there. I ended up taking a lyft to the mall during the repair and my lyft recommended the place next to this place for auto glass services. Liars and thieves, find somewhere else. I scheduled an appointment and gave all the information including pictures of the VIN etc, the night before my service at 9 pm I get a text message saying they misquoted me and it's going to be $70 more - Ok, not great but not the end of the world. I show up and am told they don't have my glass in stock and I'm told to sit in the waiting room while they figure it out. 15 minutes later and there is still no update, nobody has come to talk to me to explain what is going on so I go back to the counter and they tell me to keep waiting someone will call my cell phone to explain what's going on. Someone eventually calls my cell phone and explains that it isn't their fault, their call center is in India and they didn't understand my cars glass, she then tells me to continue waiting at the shop and she will call me back in a few minutes. Another 25 minutes go by so I call her back and she hangs up on me. I call a second time and she says she's just so busy she hasn't looked into it yet. After an hour of waiting in their shop she tells me the quote is now MORE THAN $600 HIGHER than they quoted. SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE, seriously how can you be SO wrong in your original quote? It's not like I came in here with a rare foreign race car or something, it's a damn Ford, don't act like it's the first time you've worked on the country's most basic and well known car. Nobody will take ownership of the problem (they won't even look me in the eye as I'm sitting here in their waiting room trying to figure out what's going on), I lost an entire morning, I used a vacation day to get them my car, and just overall feel so scammed. Continue your search for a reputable glass company because this company does a classics bait and switch on you! My 2012 Ford F-150 rear glass broke so they came out to change it out. They installed it but did a terrible job cleaning the broken glass. They left the glass in the back seat and left shards of glass in the rail. This caused the regulator to burn out. After talking with them, I was told to bring it in, so I did. They said the regulator would need to be changed. So I did, I brought to them AGAIN so they could install the regulator. I think they are the best! Fast and inexpensive :) I recommend them to anyone. My passenger front window was broken out at work. My dads girlfriend told me about them and made my appointment. There was some waiting due to July 4th but my overall experience was above and beyond. They vacuumed out all the glass and made sure the new window was easily sliding up and down. I do not usually write reviews, but I feel like I need to in order to prevent this from happening to another customer. I realize when you are on a budget you are looking for the best deal possible. Unfortunately, if you are not getting quality workmanship, you'll most likely end up paying more than double in the long run. My back windshield was accidentally shattered by a landscaper, while I was parked AT WORK. He was extremely kind and took responsibility. He arranged for Tavos Glass to replace my back windshield and he paid the cost which was close to $400, that included a warranty. A little over 1WEEK after the replacement, my back windshield shattered while it was parked on my driveway, AT MY HOME. My driveway is away from the road and there was zero activity around my vehicle. Nothing came in contact with my windshield, it shattered without incident. I called Tavos Glass to let them know. I was told someone would get back to me after reviewing my claim. After a couple days, they reached out to me to let me know that the owner's wife reviewed my case, and they were not responsible. I was told that it was very unlikely something like that would happen. Funny, if you scroll the past reviews it's not unlikely at all, it's quite common. Their warranty does not cover their workmanship. I requested that the landscaper be reimbursed and they told me they would give him a $100 off if he paid to have it replaced again. On a sidenote, they charged the landscaper twice on his credit card at the initial replacement and it took him over two weeks to get the additional charge reimbursed. Needless to say, I did not trust them replacing my windshield again. I had to go through my insurance and file a claim.I went with Safelite. Safelite offers a warranty that covers not only their glass, but their workmanship. The Safelite technician told me that the previous installation was done incorrectly and the metal frame that holds the glass was severely bent. That would have absolutely caused the glass to shatter. Tavos does not stand behind their work! If you are in need of a glass replacement, do yourself a favor and choose a reputable company, not Tavos. You'll be saving yourself a hassle and a ton of money by doing so. Pay a little more to get it done RIGHT! Very disappointed! read more

my grandma had her windshield fixed on May 5th and the morning of may 6th the gasket from around the windshield was already coming off. we called and they took 10 days (may 15th) to send a technician out and when they arrived they claimed they didn't know what they were here for so they left , kept calling and kept getting a "my manager will give you a call back" till this day we have receiveD no calls . this morning (June 12th) we called and were told we were going to be transferred to a female manager , when they picked up the phone it was an unprofessional male under the influence of something he was slurring his words, not listening to what we had to say , then he proceeded to tell my grandma that she was hot , that he had looked up her address and that she was hot?!?! I had a small bit of rust on my windshield frame so most glass repairs wouldn't touch it (they would also quote me $90-100 more than Tavo's) Anyways brought it to Tavo, the superficial rust wasn't an issue and got a new windshield within an hour. Would recommend! read more

And then they sent a notification text that says 9 pm that's the time they close. I came in at 8 am. They said we can take you. And then after an hour wait, I asked them how much longer do I need to wait because my car was still parking in the front. They said the windshield was on the way. The guy who deliver the windshield was late. So 10-15 mins for the windshield. 45 mins for the replacement. However, 30 mins later I asked again. They said the windshield was here. And they took my car away. 30 mins later they told me the windshield was NOT AVAILABLE?! ?! I tried to save money and I trusted them, even they have the shit rate which is 2.5 Don't ever come to this place trying to save 20 bucks. Go elsewhere save your time. Shit show. That's my title for this review I finally had a free week day to get my windshield replaced. Some people had recommended this place on Facebook, so thought I'd give it a try. Go in on a Thursday to get a quote. Give them my make and model number and they tell me $380 and can do it the next day. First thing I ask: I have insurance, do you work with that? Rep: Yeah, but it will take a week. Me: Well, I don't have a week and the price is reasonable, so go ahead and schedule me for the next day. As she's entering my information, I start wondering why no one has gone to look at my windshield, so I say: Hey, my truck has a lot of bells and whistles and sensors off the windshield. Don't you want to look at it and make sure you're getting the right one? She looks at me like I'm crazy and sends one of her techs out to look at it.. They assure me I'm good to go and tell me to come back at 10 a.m. the next day and it will take 45-60 minutes to do the install. I'm back the next day at 10 a.m. After AN HOUR, they call me (while I'm in the building) telling me they ordered the wrong windshield and that mine is one that has all the sensors THAT I TOLD THEM ABOUT THE DAY BEFORE! On top of that, the charge is now going to be $600 and that I had to come back in three hours when the got the windshield in. No, hey, we messed up. so this is what we're going to do, nothing. I called a friend who called his distributor and told me how much the right windshield would cost: $298, $438 for OEM. No offers of apologies or "how can we make it up to you for being idiots?" I call a place called Auto Glass Now over off Federal and Alameda. They tell me they'll have the windshield in and synced to my truck that day. $297 for the windshield and $250 to sync to the truck. I ask if they work with insurance. Of course, they say. They called them right there, and my full windshield coverage meant I spent $0 out of pocket! If you only have ONE thing you do, one would expect you'd be masters like Auto Glass Now was. Tavo's is a clown show of chaos and ineptness. Go there at your own risk. read more

They are cheap for a reason. I have spent five months trying to get the rain sensor fixed after it stopped working when they replaced my windshield. I drove back down to Denver for them to fix it, which they didn't, called multiple times with no return calls, emailed until finally they sent technicians out to fix it. The technicians did nothing, were rude, claimed it was working, and left. I have video proof that is still not working and they are refusing to do anything. Office staff is rude and unhelpful. Purchased a vehicle from an auto dealership who referred me to this place and I had a check written for the amount the auto windshield repair would cost. When I called this auto glass repair. They advised it would be a little bit extra due to the (side sensor) features. No problem. I simply called the dealership and they switched me out the check for the correct amount. So I called to schedule an appointment. For Tuesday (Day after Labor Day). I was told by ?Christina? That I would receive a call this weekend but for sure on Monday. Never happened. So on Tuesday I called to see what was going on. I spoke to a gentleman who told me that the lady ?Christina? Wrote a note to call me when she got into the shop. Towards the end of the day. No call. So yet again, I called them to see what was going on. She informed me that the windshield was never delivered. So I was waiting around for NOTHING! Okay. So I told her that she shouldn't schedule people UNTIL they have the correct equipment to assist with the windshield repair bc people have to take off of work and nothing is being done. So I asked to reschedule and have a manager call me back (Wednesday). NO WORD! So I call on Friday & was told by the male who answers phones that the manager no longer wants to do business with me as a customer!?!? He couldn't even call me back hisself in which I originally requested. Why! Because YOU as a business run people around in circles and can't keep your appointments straight and obviously can't keep a customer happy? We have been trying to schedule an appointment for them to replace our car window. The first time they reschedule it was because of bad weather (understandable) they said they will come Friday on that week. Friday came they never should up. I call seeing they haven't come. All I was told was "we will calll you back in 5 minutes" yet no call. So I called Saturday to see what happens " they said they wanted to see if they can do an exception income on Saturday. They will give me a yeah they never did. Today June 26 i called again they said they will set up a schedule for Tuesday June 27 and they will give me a call. My last Call was done June 26th at 4pm to see what happened if they can come June 27. I was told that " that under schedule I was penciled in for June 26 in the morning" yeah I was home all day and nobody shut up. End short they have poor communication skills, and time management. Chop shop of windshields at Tavos. They do not use glue on their installations. That's why the water was leaking in my car. They are in the process of being sued by my insurance company. Water got down into one of my computers and it blew the computer. So if that's what you want to go through then use Tavos. You've been warned. I don't care what anyone does up here and I only care about my cars. But you've been warned up and down here and in Google Reviews. There was shards of glass and chunks of glass on my dash and on the seats and in the back seat! WTF!! The new glass place said they've had a ton of complaints regarding Tavos. They said their guys get 2 days of training and then they're slapping in hundreds of cheap windshields in a month. I think they dropped my old windshield when removing it and then didn't use glue when installing the new ultra cheapo piece of crap windshield. Seems like their rubber/plastic seals are purchased at the Dollar Tree or K-mart. It creaked for months and they said just give it "time to settle". I had to go back 4 times. Then finally a bunch of my things blew in my car because water was leaking DOWN MY WINDSHIELD in the inside!! WTF!! Is that what you want to go through? Then be my guest. I don't care. But my insurance company will be suing them soon they said. Also, they have 13 BBB complaints against them in a couple years. And not one of them have been responded to. What does that say? They're a el cheapo chop shop. You'll see when you get there and they take 6 hours to do your windshield and you have to sit in the little room and surrounded by other cheap asses like yourself. The only reason they're getting one star is because I can't give zero stars. I made an appointment to get a windshield repaired and they said they would be there, they never showed up. When I called them to ask what happened they informed me that they didn't have a driver for that day. Decided to give them another shot things happen. I scheduled an appointment for another day. This time they wait till the end of the day to call me only to tell me that they have to cancel again. No reason stated, only try to schedule again further down the week. They don't even deserve one star. They replaced the windshield and they were supposed to also replace the seal on my 1985 GMC Sierra. They had to come out three times because they couldn't remember to bring the seal. The last time they were out they forgot it again but this time they thought they could clean up the 30 YEAR OLD seal and put it back on telling us it was the new one. IT STILL LEAKS! We called three times about it and sent pictures because they charged for the new seal. They keep telling us we will get a refund. It's been months now and I don't expect to see it. They were also late every time and even tried showing up at 11 pm when the appointment was at 6. As you can see from the pictures, the rust streaking on the seal is the original one and leaks from three spots. SAVE YOURSELF and go to a real business. read more

Took my car here as suggested by Lyft, as I am a Lyft driver and had a cracked windshield. Super cheap--FOR A REASON. First: The technician who installed it took my pile of expensive textbooks and just tossed them into my backseat. I was very upset about that. They were damaged. Second: The technician broke something in the windshield wiper housing and now there is a very loud click every time they swipe back and forth. I called and the guy who answered the phone said the work was 100% guaranteed and made an appointment for me to come in and have them look at and fix the problem. Third: I show up for my appointment and the technician comes out, is very rude, and I show him the problem. He calls me a liar and tells me it's my car and my problem and he didn't do that. I said "It was not like that before you guys replaced the windshield!" He said "Are you sure??" as though I'm an idiot and haven't owned my car for years and know the sounds it makes. Fourth: I called the corporate office to speak the manager or owner and was first hung up on, then placed on hold twice for very long periods of time, and then told the manager would call me back in a couple minutes. I had my back glass replaced by Tavos, the initial installation was great. Two weeks later my back glass completely shattered for no apparent reason. When I called to see what they would do they told me nothing could be done because only the front windshield has a guarantee. Any other windows are not covered. So now after paying $320 the first time apparently I have to fork out another $450 to go with another company that will have a guarantee with their glass. Asked to speak with a manager and the lady in the office told me no, they were too busy to take my call. Definitely do not recommend if you're not getting your front windshield replaced. read more
