We used to absolutely love Tavi's and have been going here for years. The food was always great, and it was one of those places we genuinely looked forward to visiting. Unfortunately, something seems to have changed over the last few weeks. The food suddenly started tasting completely different and, in our experience, just wasn't good anymore. We thought maybe it was an off night, so we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back a couple more times. Sadly, it hasn't improved. I don't know if the ingredients have changed, if something has changed in the kitchen, or what's going on, but the quality just isn't what it used to be. We've also noticed the customer service has gone downhill. It's disappointing because we've been customers for years and really enjoyed this place. After giving it several chances, though, we've decided we won't be going back. I genuinely hope they figure out what changed and get back to the quality they used to have. read more

Service was great! Very casual atmosphere. We ordered a pizza and the pasta trio. The pizza is FANTASTIC! Delicious toppings that tasted fresh, crispy crust and cheesy. The pasta trio was a little bland (sauce was not the greatest) but the lasagna was ok. I will definitely be back to try other items for sure. read more

Very good place, good food and service, just lacks atmosphere, the music was like old 50s songs, kinda romantic I guess, we had a Greek Salad to share as an appetizer that came with 2 rolls that were steaming hot and delicious. I could honestly eat those 2 things every day. Got a pizza that was really good, but needed a couple extra minutes to cook in my opinion. The leftover pizza will go in my air fryer for lunch tomorrow. All in all id recommend this place for the food and service, but don't expect it to be entertaining, If you're just especting somee quality with your significant other and to just talk this is the place for you. read more

My beautiful wife and I heard about this place from a friend so we thought we would check it out. My wife ordered the margherita pizza and I ordered the tilapia and shrimp. Our meal wasn't the worst we ever had but certainly not the best. My tilapia was okay but a little too fishy and the shrimp weren't very edible. They rested on a bed of pasta that was cooked in butter and capers. It was pretty bland and I didn't feel like the noodles were cooked all the way. My wife's pizza even had a fishy taste to it. The atmosphere was unique. The restaurant is a quansot hut and was okay inside. Nothing to write home about. One bright spot about our visit was the service. My wife and I have heard many good things about this place, so we gave it a shot finally. I was not impressed at all. Service was nice I didn't see the inside of the place cause they have a window to pick up. They claim New York style pizza, I'm sorry not close, the flop is real needs to be cooked a bit longer, toppings were good. The meatball sub, more cheese than meatball barely any sauce. And the meatballs were cut up, not very good best but part was the bread. My wife had the lasagna and was not impressed. So I give them 1.6 stars well two cause there is no in between. We absolutely love Tavi's! They have the best pizza in the area hands down! We always get the XL Tavi's Special so we have leftovers to take home! I've also had the Tavi's pasta with your choice of chicken or beef with artichoke hearts that was fabulous and so was the Chicken Piccata - my plate was cleaned both times! You can also BYOB, so when we go, we always take a bottle of red wine! The wait staff is awesome and we are such regulars, they always know what our order will be! Highly recommend!! read more

The Nextdoor App hosted a debate between the best pizza in Cedar Creek Lake area. I think I have to agree with those that choose Tavi's. The outside architecture looks like something from the 1950s or perhaps a plane hanger with its curved metal structure. Unfortunately that motif was not continued in the building. Instead, drop down ceilings cover worn furniture. But this is the Lake. The bread rolls were not bad but not great. But the cheese garlic bread was much better. My wife ordered the trio to sample their tales on Italian classics. She was not disappointed although each was a heavy dish. Their pizza is "New York Crust" which is not Italian thin crust but not deep dish either. I ordered Pepperoni, Italian sausage (paid extra for the premium) and garlic (I think they spilled half the bottle. And I love garlic). Satisfied them and satisfied with the leftover cold pizza for breakfast the next day. The pizzas are traditional, no new toppings or true thin crust pizza with prosciutto and arugula. Instead, pizza you ate as a kid dressed a bit nicer. Have not tried delivery yet. So stay tuned. read more

Best lasagna around! We just became full-timers in GBC, and we eat here a minimum of 1-2 times per week. Love the BYOB! Love the pizzas as well! Great for leftovers too!
