This place is a straight up hole in the wall. With a great group of friends, anything is alright, but I would not advise checking it out alone. I got more dirty looks and rude comments from drunk locals than I've seen/ heard since high school. Yeah. It was karaoke night and the sound was so loud and so annoying we had to shout over each other to even order food. That said, the bartender had an amazing voice, sounding similar to Reba McIntyre and she was super fun to watch sling drinks and sing. Our waiter was also super cool and as usual the service and kinsmanship in New Orleans is outstanding. The nachos I ordered were typical bar fare and kind of gross, but I had no expectations of great food once I stepped inside. Great local place! I had an unexpected layover at the New Orleans airport, and I ended within walking distance of this spot. Glad I took a chance. It's a bar with a grill, but what a grill! I had one of the best burgers I've eaten in quite a while, the onions rings were crispy and fresh and the service was terrific. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and I could tell that they enjoyed each other which made for a fun time. Excellent local beers on tap and more than fair prices. Great spot to watch some football. Really tough to find a place in Kenner, Louisiana that had all the games and a place for me to watch the Bears win one of their few games this year. Ordered mango habanero wings cooked to perfection, crispy outside with moist, tender meat... so difficult to find. The sauce was flavorful but I would've preferred it a little spicier, but they were very good. Good draft (about 15 taps) and bottle beer selection with local and craft beers. Amazing steak for a helluva price. I've been at the hotel next door several months at a time and have eaten here many many nights. Everything I've tried has been top notch. The grilled chicken sandwich is a close second to the steak. The atmosphere is always friendly. You have a choice between a side salad, potato salad or fries. I went med_rare with fries. Jest before my dinner came out I grabbed the ketchup (I refuse to use A1-57). When my plate came out (again WoW!) it was a great looking steak with seasoned fries. The steak and fries were both so good I didn't even use the the keychup. I add my approval of this place. Boom cook is a Ninja Chef, awesome perfect asked for medium rare and got it. The man got it right to steak should never be seasoned its tender cause you know your fire meets meat ratio.
