Recommend the beet salad with greens and goat cheese, street tacos with shrimp, and braised rib grilled cheese, but even their basic hamburger was really good. Good location. Trendy. Nicely decorated for the holidays. Chili sucks. Something unknown and crunchy in it. No oyster crackers. Out of bells beer. Out of specialty drinks. Flat soda. Garlic ptarmigan wings missing the spices and pink in the middle. Buffalo wings were rubber with no taste. The burgers were great. Pork chops were great. Shrimp were good. Too bad. Atmosphere is really great. Right on the square so it is a really convenient location. They had decorated really pretty for the holidays. The appetizers are delicious and bigger than expected. The loaded tater tots have candy bacon and its absolutely amazing. Their mac and cheese is to die for. I consider myself a mac and cheese connoisseur, and sometimes I can be brutal with my opinions on mac. But this was so creamy and delicious. They have a jumbo $40 option I am intrigued and will try one day. read more

We stopped in here for a snack while exploring the square. We were not very hungry so I cannot speak for the meals, but we had a couple beers and appetizers and were very pleased. I will definitely be back to try more. And I LOVE that it is 21 and up only. I understand a previous post being upset about a baby, but as a mother that needed to get away from my kids and just relax, I love a place like this to go without having to see or hear other children sometimes. So let me first start off by saying that I had heard good things about this place from coworkers. We opted for the outdoor seating since it was a nice day. My wife ordered the short rib grilled cheese. It looked thoroughly unappetizing but she said it wasn't bad. It certainly wasn't $15 good. Looked like something you could order in any greasy spoon diner for less than $10. I ordered the Cubano. Now first of all, I've had this sandwich from Wildrose Brewery, Off The Square Brewery, and a food truck called Mantã in Crown Point. All of them were vastly superior to this sandwich. Honestly, if what was described in their menu was what I got, it probably would have been much better. The menu says "braised and thinly sliced pork belly". What I got was some kind of fried "pork chop". This is not a Cubano. I ate a few bites and couldn't finish it. As far as our appetizers, my wife ordered the "cheese curds" and I got the "pretzel bites". The cheese curds were just miniature mozzarella balls. They were good, don't get me wrong, but not technically a cheese curds. My pretzel bites were more like mini pretzel buns. I wouldn't recommend this place based on what we had. Maybe the rest of the menu selections are more palatable, but I'll never know since I won't be coming back here. read more

We have come here several times and I always forget to take pictures of our food. It never disappoints. This time I came here with my cousin for some lunch and beer. We split the wings and a salad. Both were delicious. We also ordered a flight. The bartender was super friendly and attentive. Always love coming here! And FYI: try the fiesta bowls! I never leave a review like this for a restaurant but after the service we received last night I felt that more needed to be done. The food was amazing it was just the service. We sat on the patio and had a male server. We sat for about 20 min until he came over to greet us and then when we asked to order drinks he said "hold on let me drop waters off first and then i'll come back with menus" we waited for about another 10 min for a drink menu. We asked about items on the menu and what his favorites were and he seemed like he could not comprehend anything we were asking. He said he tried everything on the menu but could not explain any meals to us. We were having a great time on the patio the drinks were amazing but everytime our server came back to our table he was stumbling over his words and could not comprehend anything that was going on. It was pretty apparent he was either drunk or on some sort of drug as he slammed into the wall trying to walk back inside. It was very sad to see , the manager ended up coming out to take care of the receipts. We had to tell our original server what was on our checks several times but he was not understanding. When the manager was at our table I politely asked him if our server was okay as we were concerned he may have taken something and started freaking out or was just drunk as it was very similar to how people act when they are drinking. We were never rude to our server, in fact we were very understanding and nice everytime he had said "hold on i'll be right back" everytime he was at our table. It started getting very awkward. Well the manager said "yes I took him off the floor he's having a little bit of a panic attack" We understood and decided to just let it go. As I walked inside to use the restroom our exact server was serving his table in the front of the bar. He was not taken off the floor just from the outside. Very upsetting considering if he was drunk or on something that is NOT acceptable service anyone should have to deal with. It was embarrassing and awkward. It's upsetting because we were seeing long distance friends and if it wasn't for that it would've been a terrible experience. We left feeling weird about the whole thing and the felt that the manager covered for him. Kinda sad , he needed some sort of help or at least taken home for the night. Went here on Thursday evening. May 4th My girlfriend enjoyed her food (chicken and waffles) but we were waiting an extremely long time for our food. Our time here lasted about 2 1/2 -3 hours. By the time mine came I was pretty disappointed with the short rib grilled cheese as it was very dry. I was let down as I've gone here once Before and had a good time. It wasn't bad, nothing you can't get at a grocery store. I got a side of Brussel sprouts. They were delicious. My husband got short rib tacos and onion rings. The tacos were sad. Barely anything in them. He didn't touch them. Sent them back, and got the short rib grilled cheese. It looked better, but was not hot. Oh well, we kept it.
