This place is perfect. Reportedly built by a woodworker because he wanted a place to drink, it's got a full bar, Bass Ale on tap, and a sausage and cheese plate for $8 that is close to a meal for two.
If you want a full menu you can always stroll the hundred feet or so to the Stony Creek Inn.
The inside is elegant, has a pool table, and a good juke box, as well as Wi-Fi. There is also an outdoor porch where one can smoke a cigar and sip a bit of Bourbon on a fall day (and probably other times of year.)
Worth a trip. read more
