I requested to get a double helix piercing and the lady was so nice!! Super clean!!! She also checked my anatomy before agreeing to the piercing, especially if youve been pierced in the area before they'll check to make sure it is ok to pierce again. I got a floating navel with my friend done on November 14th, the piercing done by Claudia in itself was fine. They were $90 each. She didn't use clamps but i believe that's up to the piercers preference. I got a flower charm and a few days after the bar didn't have enough room for swelling. So I went back to get a bigger bar because the flower was starting to sink. Ana was the one to help she said she placed a longer bar but still kept the flower which I wasn't a huge fan of and I still felt like I should've been able to see a little bit of the bar but i should've spoken up about it still being a tight fit. The next few days were VERY uncomfortable, Ana ended up giving me her instagram so I could contact with any questions. So I did and she just kept telling me it's probably just irritated and to do cold compresses. I couldn't deal with the flower anymore it was bothering me so much so I switched it to the small ball that she had given me. It got so much worse. The ball completely started to sink in and was fully embedding into my skin. I kept trying to tell her the bar was tooooo short and I felt completely brushed off. I ended up going to Iris (another shit show piercing parlor ) and they said it was pierced wrong. Again THE BAR WAS TOO SHORT, I don't know how not one, not two, but THREE piercers couldn't find the right barbell size for me. I ended up messaging Ana again asking for advice. At one point she seemed like she got annoyed and just told me to message Claudia, i felt like since they already had my money I was just nagging at this point. Claudia never answered me which I was on a time crunch considering how much it was embedding so I didn't have all the time in the world to be waiting on her response. So, I have a total of 6 tattoos. Never been to Tattoo by Lous even though it was at the corner of my workplace. I initially went in for a nose piercing off an impulsive whim and got one. My piercer, she was the coolest and super quick the needle. Very chill and great vibes. Because I felt comfortable, I mentioned I wanted to cover up this horrific wrist tattoo I got back when I was 20 from some terrible tattoo artist who was either drunk , high, or just did not give a damn. Totally blotched my vision. Had to stop the mess before it got worse. I spoke with "Glitter". She IMMEDIATELY took a look, we brainstormed for about 2 minutes and she totally targeted by vibe and we went from a super cool Hansa Tattoo with an Eye (as originally intended) and some extras to cover up the shit underneath. We clicked so well that I immediately gave my deposit and scheduled for the first available. My entire experience , before, during, and after my stop was great. It is SO IMPORTANT to find an artist that you actually bond with because it makes the work so much more beautiful. I was very receptive to her suggestions as long as we kept my vision and that's exactly what happened. She was funny, she was as gentle as she possibly could be. Very clean, very professional, so much so that I am coming in for more. I love her style , I love how she LISTENS and she is HONEST. Her color combinations are beautiful and overall , I just felt comfortable man. Thank you G for making my experience a unique one. I've never felt so comfortable at a tattoo parlor in my life. This review is in response to the answer that was given to my original review. As stated, I was about to have my first tattoo done and was a bit nervous. As I was filling out the information, I asked the artist who was doing the intake if we could have a change of music because the death metal loud music that was on was adding to my anxiety.( My husband and I are rock musicians ourselves, and are in our late 60s. ) The artist was very nice, but told us that the man laying on the couch with the phone in his hand was the DJ. My husband approached him and asked if we could hear some rock music that was not Alice In Chains. The man told him directly.. No that's what HE wanted and he would not change it. My husband thought that was pretty rude of the man. I then went to him vey nicely, and asked if he could put on some other rock music, and started to explain to him that I was anxious, and the music was adding to the anxiety. The man cut me off in mid sentence, and said that he would not change it, and that's what he liked, so no he would not put on anything else. He said this with quite an attitude. I immediately realized that I wasn't going to persuade him so I gave up. Both my husband and myself were very cordial, quiet, and nice. This whole thing made me even more nervous, so I apologized to the artist who had taken time to draw up a sketch of what I wanted, but told him that we were leaving. My husband and I are both in the service industry as well as being musicians, and had never been treated like this anywhere. I had never encountered anyone like this man before in my life. From there I called my friend who is in the business to ask if he could recommend a tattoo shop, and he recommended another place. we went there and had my tattoo done the same day. Our request was not outrageous, we were polite, but that man's whole demeanor was not accomodating at all. Death Metal music in my opinion is very cliche in this day and age for a tattoo shop. The only tattoo artist in the shop said he or any other person there wouldn't touch me since it's not "their" work. Ridiculous!!! (Im 37) love 3 out of 4 items my tattoos i love and i still have the lip piercing i got there when i was 16 but my helix piercing ‍ the piercer was a sweetheart but the bar she used hurt like all hell the first 2 months i waited 8 months to change to a hoop and was iffy about changing to a hoop as it still bled and hurt when i changed it but it is finally healing after 9 months of pain and having to take antibiotics and use a cream from my doctor (im stubborn and refuse to take it out i paid for it) other then that i love going there read more

I got my septum piercing done here at the end of March and not only were they able to take me without an appointment, but my experience here was much better than other tattoo/piercing shops. They actually had me sign paperwork and asked for an ID, which I've never been asked for in other shops. It was also very clean and my piercer was very knowledgeable. It's been 3 months with my piercing and it healed extremely fast and I haven't had any problems with it. They also have a wide range of jewelry to choose from. Sarah is the sweetest thing on Earth!! She was so great and knowledgeable. A few weeks after getting pierced, I got punched on the side of the head at boxing and my ears started bleeding. I will not be returning back to this location... the piercing lady was very kind, but the man who did my tattoo (his name was Arlen) was completely out of line. I was completely attacked midway through my session, after making a joke about him not allowing me to laugh or talk. He called me "fucking annoying" and continued to bark at me about how he is a very serious man and did not like to joke around. Being that he was so angry over this, I was worried that he would do something malicious,so I kept quiet for the rest of the session. After seeing how poorly I was treated, my friend (who had planned to get something done) decided to back out being that she was uncomfortable to even be around him. So I been thinking, planning to further develop my arm/shoulder tattoo, got what I know its a fairly simple one , technically speaking, the guy looks over my drawing, says he can't do it, it was so clearly obvious this guy simply did not want to work. What a disappointment, all my ink up to now was done here!! Not going back, if 7/9/19 Once more, gave them a chance to redeem themselves. This time I went w my son on Sunday, he got some ink. I talked about what I needed, the "artist" tells me price, how long it was going to take, we made app x today. I show up, the guy leaves at 5pm but now instead of one hour, he says it takes 3! Completely out his $&@, says he don't have enough time to do it. Basically I cut my job short to come today and end up completely loosing my working afternoon, simply cuz he days he doesn't want to "rush" it. How can he rush it if the very same tattoo on Sunday is expected to take an hour, but conveniently today its going to take 3!!?? BS. This location is simply not a serious tattooing place. Never going back again. Those people are weird. I had been going to that place for around six months. I got a couples of tattoos and every time I went I had my puppy with me. Back them there was no problem or complain. I went today to get another tattoo and out of nowhere they didn't allow me to get inside with my puppy.they where extremely humiliating and rude ,even though I told them my puppy is a emotional register dog. just because I didn't want their service anymore I didn't call the cops on them. I'm telling you that I got a very intricate, precise, and delicate tattoo and the entire time I had to keep reminding myself that this was supposed to be painful. The conversation was just so good, that my mind was completely disconnected from my pained nerve endings. I love going here because it doesn't feel filthy like most locations that drunken people go to at 1 in the morning. All of the artists have their own personalized studio with their own personal specialties. Going through their portfolios is always fun. What I can say about price is this, there's nothing wrong with haggling. I got my tat cheap and I even gave him comps to see a great Improv show that I participate in. Whenever he wants to see a show all's he's got to do is give me a call. Best part is, I get free touch ups. The location is convenient so you can go out for drinks later to numb the pain. Big tip for first timers, LISTEN to your tattoo artist when he or she gives you recommendations on the healing process. It's VITAL. Yes. Tattoos scab, so you WILL peel so don't freak out.
