Jason took the time to draw up designs, and then got to work! It's smart to have some idea of what you want, but to also be open to ideas the artist has. Jason suggested doing Japanese style art, so I went with it. I think it came out great! The shop was very clean, and as far as price... you get what you pay for! They take cash and I think Apple Pay. They have an ATM machine there, but it was out of order when we were there.

I had my tattoo placed on my upper arm and my arm was resting on a shelf like piece but underneath that was a metal bar that was digging into my ribs the entire time also the chair is not built for tall people my leg was hanging off the chair but not able to put on the ground. The chair was more uncomfortable than the tattoo. Took about 4 hours to tattoo my piece. Would recommend this facility for the quantity of artists and professionalism. I was very lucky Peter said he could fit me and a couple other guys in while in town. The piece came out amazing...to be honest better than we could ever have imagined it from a drawing we provided him. I liked him so much I set up a second session for some more work, and will be getting a third session down before leaving. The price is beyond reasonable, if anything I felt like he wasn't charging enough for the quality of work he provides as an artist. My buddy likes his so much that he will drive the 8 hours back here to finish his sleeve. The shop is very clean and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend stopping by for your first/next tattoo. If Peter is booked, I promise you it would be worth the wait!

I stopped by one week to talk to someone about an idea I saw online and was greeted with friendly faces and a genuine sense that they cared about my ideas. Tried to stop at another large place on W Victory before I found Riverside and was met with a lobby full of people vaping pen devices who acted like they had better things to do then help me out with my idea. Only a few of them at that place acknowledged me and once we started talking they talked very poorly of other artist/shops in the area claiming all their people are the best and that their pricing was the "standard". When I'm ready to get a tattoo I'd rather do it with people who don't act like they are interested or speak poorly about others in their community. Like the people at Riverside Tattoo!

As I got to the shop everyone was very kind and welcoming to everyone and answered all of the questions I had about the process and after care and made sure I was comfortable with everything before getting the tattoo. I waited about ten minutes and I went back with my artist Pat Crump who does amazing and beautiful work and was super kind to me throughout the whole process, which didn't take very long at all since I just got a small and simple tattoo.
