We went in for piercing for my underage son. Note for others who go make sure you have a birth certificate a passport or copy of a passport will not do. Luckily I had one in my phone so I was able to upload it when needed for the release form. Piercings are not cheap these days so I am assuming this is on par with how expensive they are at other places I do recommend if you're gonna get yours pierced or anything. pierced not going to a place like a Claire's where they pierce it with a gun. It's much more sanitary to have it pierced with a needle as they do here. I recommend Vyxx who was our piercer. She was knowledgeable and helpful. My son is very happy with the end result, just know that you do have to purchase the gear here as they do not allow outside jewelry so that will add to the cost just factor. My son had both ears pierced and it was a little over $200 with the jewelry. read more

My sister and I got matching tattoos here and Josh was patient and hygienic during the entire process. He was quick and efficient to understanding our request and delivered highly satisfactory work. We both were comfortable and left with no issues. it's been about a month now and both of our tattoos have healed well. 5 STARS !!!!!!!!! read more

I cannot thank Vyxx at Tattoo Galaxy enough for their professionalism, knowledge, and care! I came to them with a helix piercing that had been completely botched by another shop (Norristown Tattoo Company), where the piercer had inserted a nipple bar into my ear. Yes, a nipple bar--something totally inappropriate and harmful for a helix piercing. Vyxx immediately educated me on how dangerous the original piercing was and walked me through what needed to be done to fix it. They carefully removed the improper jewelry, which was so poorly placed that my skin had actually threaded onto the nipple bar. Vyxx replaced it with proper jewelry and gave me thorough aftercare instructions to ensure my ear heals correctly. Their professionalism and expertise were unmatched--I felt so cared for and informed throughout the entire process. If you're considering getting a piercing, go to Tattoo Galaxy in Willow Grove. They truly know what they're doing and prioritize your safety and health. Avoid Norristown Tattoo Company at all costs--I paid $90 plus tip for a dangerous, poorly done piercing and had to spend an additional $50-ish at Tattoo Galaxy to have it fixed. Save yourself the stress, money, and potential harm--go straight to Tattoo Galaxy and ask for Vyxx! read more

I got pierced by Jay who was incredibly patient and made sure I was informed about what was happening every step of the process (which I greatly appreciated)! This is my fourth time being pierced, and hands down my best experience. He was professional, and clearly knowledgeable about piercings and taking care of them afterwards. He was very thorough in ensuring that the process was clean and sterile. He was super friendly and made sure I was completely at ease. It was also clear that the establishment takes COVID precautions seriously. Upon entering, both my friend and I were asked to hand sanitize and had our temperatures taken. The room was big enough for all of us to be in there safely. The piercings themselves barely hurt, and now, a day later don't hurt at all, unlike some of my other piercings. If you plan to get a piercing in the area, I would absolutely recommend going to Jay. read more

This review is solely on my piercings. Went in on a busy night and waited a while which gave me time to look around and absorb things. Jay McColm is definitely the guy you want if you're looking to get pierced. Jay is extremely knowledgeable and will answer any and all questions you have. He takes you through the process of whatever piercing you're getting done step-by-step. He's honest enough to give you his input if he thinks you're making a possible mistake with your decision and that's rare in most parlors within the tri-state area. He's also as gentle as they come which is a major plus. Try him once and he's going to become your go to guy. read more

Me and my friend went to this shop to get out conch piercings redone after they closed. Vyxx did bath of our piercings. Not only was she extremely knowledgeable, easygoing, comforting, and funny, but she also rewarded us with fruit snacks when we were finished! Best experience I've ever had getting pierced, hands down., Id recommend Vyxx to anyone, anytime!!!! read more

Yeah this place I would not recommend to ANYONE! The customer service here is trash, the gentleman Jay McColm has a very poor attitude. He called me and asked was I still coming to my scheduled appointment and I told him yes, I am 8mins away... he said fine see you soon. I get there literally in 8mins and he tells me "oh I can not take you today and I'll have to reschedule. I understand policies, appointment policies, etc but you could have simply said we would have to reschedule on the phone call. Additionally his attitude once my daughter (16yrs old) and I arrived onsite his attitude was extremely poor and he was real snappy. CUSTOMER SERVICE in 2021 is something all companies, people, etc should focus on and try to be better at but today's experience was poor. He was like "I could just take your $20 for being late"... sir that $20 is not the problem.. I am not worried about that... your attitude though is the issue! So again Jay McColm is a terrible employee of Galaxy Tattoo & Piercing. Do better people, please. - a pissed off customer - Anthony Steele read more

If you're debating getting a piercing done here, I'll save you the time and tell you to just go. Jay was amazing. I've had a total of 9 piercings now (from different shops) and none of those experiences come close to the experience I had here. Jay is cool, calm, and collected and you can tell he takes the time to get to know his clients. Not only that but his whole process from getting the room set up to giving his aftercare speech is very thorough. He was super knowledgable and able to answer all the questions I had. He made me feel very welcomed and at ease the entire time. The shop is also very clean and they play great music! I 100% recommend getting a piercing with him. I know I'll definitely be back. read more

Brought my 14 year old daughter in for a nose piercing. Everyone was great at explaining to her what to expect. Jay was gentle and talked her through the entire process and aftercare. It was really busy when we went on a Saturday but the wait was worth it! read more

Jay is AMAZING! I highly recommend getting your piercings done with him. The establishment is very clean and very covid conscious which was much appreciated. Jay gave me plenty of information and advice about the placement and style of piercing and gladly answered my endless questions. I do recommend reading their info on their website. Especially the forms they have you fill out electronically ahead of the appointment! It saves you and them a lot of time! read more

I walked in on a Saturday afternoon to get my septum pierced. Jay was a breath of fresh air, especially after a bad customer service experience at a shop down the street. He answered all my questions, made sure the jewelry was as small as he could use, and took all the necessary steps (and then some!) to keep everything sanitary. From the moment I walked in I was 100% confident I was in great hands. On top of all of that, I experienced NO PAIN at all. Every time someone asks about my piercing, I rave about my experience. OH- Jay also makes sure the shop is stocked with high quality jewelry of all kinds, just like my internally threaded circular barbell. I'll be back to check out other options once I'm completely healed. This is where you should go for quality piercings! read more

Good experience here! Went in after having my septum piercing out for the last 4-5 years and jay was super knowledgeable and helpful. I was unaware my piercing was still open after all that time and he put a new piercing in for just the cost of the jewelry. Very appreciative of his expertise and honesty. Very clean place. Recommended! read more

I went for the special for Friday the 13th, and while the wait was Iong it was clear why. The artiest worked tirelessly for hours making sure each tattoo they gave was good quality and what each person wanted. For a 20 dollar tattoo I was impressed. I love mine too. Came here for Jay McColm. Booking an appointment online was very easy. They have procedures in place to limit contact but they are fairly reasonable. Jay is a very knowledgeable and skilled piercer. His friendly personality and confidence puts you at ease. Jay was pretty much ready for me when I arrived. He explained the process very clearly and what to expect while we were in the wait area. After asking me if I had any questions he went back to the room to finalize his set up and then came back for me. In the room, Jay was very meticulous and organized. He sanitized thoroughly. Changed his gloves often and checked that everything he needed was in place and to his liking. He opened the sterilized packages in front of me. He did all this while talking to me so he made me feel very relaxed. Jay has very good hands. Jay's technique was quick and gentle and the piercing was done before I knew it. The piercing is healing very nicely thanks to his skillful hands. I highly recommend Jay. I will be definitely be coming back. read more

Walked in with questions about whether I wanted a rook or daith piercing. Jay went over all my jewelry options and what to expect from both piercings. I was anxious and he was calming and relaxed. I got a rook piercing. It didn't hurt as much as felt like a lot of pressure. There was some tenderness for a couple days but no pain. This experience was less painful than when I had my lobes pierced. read more

This place looks a little run down from the outside but I went here to have my nipple pierced and I cannot give more praise! If there was a 6 star rating I would give them that. It's a husband and wife team and both are very pleasant and make you feel comfortable. Everything is clean. I went to one place in Fl that gave me an incorrect piercing (he went through my areola...yea, ow) and the woman here fixed it for me and changed the bar. I love this place! read more

I am so unhappy with the tattoo on my wrist! I did everything I am supposed to care wise I have other tattoos and it looks horrible now that it's healed! The G is empty and looks like there is no ink and dug into my skin! On top of being unhappy about how it healed everything I asked for was told no or that wouldn't work! I am so angry about this tattoo and going to go to another artist so they can fix it and add to it! I will never go back and was completely disappointed because heard great things about this place! read more
