Messed up my tattoo. It was a simple tracing but Mike could not do it. The owner Trish must be related to him bc all she did was make excuses for him. No accountability. No I'm sorry. Trish tried to fix it but half assed it and did not care about the end result. She also admitted Mike overcharged me but again made an excuse. Never offered me a refund. Do not come here. So many more reputable places that will stand behind their work and do everything to make things right. read more

I brought a few friends to this shop who got tattoos as well. However Chello gave me a bunch of excuses for stalling than ghosted me on completion of my COVERUP tattoo which was my first tattoo and my name. I asked multiple times if he was capable of doing it and he said yes and he was excited to do it... 3 years later and never responds. IF YOU CANT DO A TATTOO, DONT SAY YOU CAN. I tipped Chello over $150 mid way to complete the job and he ghosted me. That is $150 on top of the $300+ I paid for the work that was already done. read more

I have followed my tattoo artist, Nick, from his old tattoo parlor to this one because I absolutely love his work. I've gotten 12 out of my 17 tattoos with him and regret not finding him for my first 5. From a small semicolon on the back of my neck to a huge flower piece on my side (pictured), he always makes me feel comfortable. I'm very happy that I met him and happy he isn't too far away, I drive an hour to see him and I wouldn't change anything. What an amazing find and practically in my back yard. I had seen some work done by shane at Valor and was quite impressed. I went to the shop to meet and give an idea to him and make an appt. the shop is clean and the artists are friendly and very professional. Shane was very patient with me and understanding when I got a bit light headed during my actual session. He worked fast considering the size of my piece and was more than reasonably priced. (I hate to use the word cheap, but he was very inexpensive, especially considering the quality of his work). My leg piece turned out way better than I could've imagined, and shane even asked I come back in to see how it healed and do a free touch up if needed. I love this place, and shane is seriously amazing, and well tattoos are addicting so I will most definitely be back. read more

I was really nervous to get my first tattoo. Valor was recommended so I stopped by to chat about what I wanted and how I was feeling. Nick took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me and answered every single question professionally and honestly. He was very transparent and told me the good the bad and the ugly. He instantly made me feel at ease! I made my appointment to come back and actually get the tattoo. Again, he was so patient and amazing! He gave me exactly what I wanted and more! I had a cover up and the rest of a sleeve to finish. Friends of mine recommended valor and told me to ask for shane. I walked in a random day with my idea and he totally owned it from there. He didnt rush or just throw it together to get it done. He actually spent time on it and made it unique by changing some details. The work he did on the color is amazing. Unfortunately I have to leave at least one star to leaven a review. I was wanting to be a potential customer for this business but they lost it as I feel unwelcome and like a POS. I came in on the day of 01/04/19 to ask about getting custom work done, and I asked the guy at the front if he or any of the artists were willing to sit thru a 6 hour session as I have had work done in that span of time in a day. I did not question anybody's ability to do so, just if any artists in particular I can schedule with. The artist at the front on this day at around 12-1 noon, said that I am not welcome here for making him feel uncomfortable. Uncomfortable of what?? This makes me feel like I being told my business is no good for who I am or for asking questions about an establishment I just walked in for the first time. No one as of this review has contacted me on this issue, but I am not surprised seeing as I am nothing to them, just a potential client who was willing to pay for a sleeve of work on my arm. read more

She's super cool and people always give me compliments on her work. One thing i always notice is how all the artists there really care about their work, and aren't afraid to compliment each other's work. After reading good reviews on yelp, I decided to try Valor Tattoo for my full Halloween-inspired sleeve. Trish was my artist and she was excellent. I provided her source material to indicate what I was thinking and she knocked out a very unique custom design for me. The process was lengthy as I was getting my entire arm done (probably 40 hours of tattoo time) but she was always professional and excited to be a part of it. She also creates the sense that the tattoo is a collaborative process - one shared between the person being tattooed and the artist. This was very important to me! Together, we knocked the tattoo out in about four months as her schedule was very flexible - sometimes staying after hours to continue to make progress. Her prices were very reasonable and she will work with you on whatever budget. Overall, an exceptional experience with a truly gifted artist. I wouldn't hesitate going back there for future work.
