They walk you through the process, have you pick out your jewelry and sign a few forms, tell you the total price then you wait in their small waiting area until you get called back to your room. Once you get called back, their rooms are super clean and their piercers are very knowledgeable. They do what you need to feel comfortable, whether that's being walked through step by step of what's going to happen or going in completely blind. I heard great things about this business years ago but clearly they have gone downhill. Both of my older nieces had their ears pierced and my sister had zero issues. That clearly has changed. First I booked this appointment on 10/3 for 10/18. I selected the 10am time slot. On the website, you have to select a time along with the day, even though the rules state that the time is not accurate. I'm not sure why they have time selection when they only promise the date not the exact time or even a time window. They should just have a date. You have to pay in full and prices are not cheap. I actually selected my mother's address in Philly because it was extra to have them come to the suburbs. That made sense for a business who travels. I went a week and a half before I noticed that my payment on my credit card dropped off. There's no option to contact them, but to use a little survey box on their website with your email address and message. I messaged them inquiring about my appointment because I saw that the payment was canceled on their website and my bank never processed it. I never heard back from them directly but the next day I did receive an email confirming my appointment and I saw that they had charged my credit card. Fast forward to the night before my scheduled appointment. I received a text from an anonymous number around 2 AM stating that my window for my appointment was actually 12 PM to 4 PM. The text message said that is when the nurse would be in the area of the address that I put in for the appointment. That annoyed me because even though I've read the rules, I still thought that because I selected the first appointment on that day, the window for my appointment would be earlier. I knew I just had a feeling that something was gonna go wrong but I was at my mom's house well in advance of 12 PM. The text message the night before it said that I would be sent a separate text message with an ETA during the 12 PM to 4 PM window. Around 345, I texted the number that had texted me the night before and said that I never received an ETA despite it being 15 minutes before 4PM. I received a response less than 10 minutes later stating that they apologize and will reach out to the nurse who was supposed to be servicing my appointment. That took another 20-ish minutes. I got a response that the nurse had car trouble and was waiting on AAA. I'm not following why the nurse would not reach out to me directly to tell me that she was delayed or wouldn't be able to make it. Why did I have to reach out because I had not heard anything for my ETA? Why is no one monitoring? I received a text that Offered me an appointment for the next day with no timeframe or anything just that there would be a nurse available tomorrow. Honestly, I still would not have moved forward with the appointment but why not clearly State my appointment time or that I would have the very first appointment tomorrow there was no urgency to accommodate a customer who was unsatisfied and who had been disappointed. Also a customer that had to reach out to the business first. I promptly asked for a refund ASAP. I should have read all of the review reviews on yelp before booking this appointment. I just had heard the rave reviews from my sister but I never considered how much older my nieces were and how fast businesses can go downhill. Please stay away!

I went into my appointment bubbly and excited for my friend and I to get meaningful tattoos for someone we have lost, and to get a bff matching "freckle tattoo," too. Due to my depression, I have not gotten out too much in the past couple years, so this was a big day for me on my healing journey. I drove over an hour away from NJ. From the moment we first interacted with Rob at the appointment, his tone was demeaning, condescending, disrespectful, annoyed, disgusted, disgruntled, and flat out mean. My friend got her tattoo done first, and when I stood up to take a 2 second video to document our special day/tattoos, he snapped at me that I needed to sit down bc I was a peripheral distraction. He was annoyed I asked him if a bathroom was closeby, and told me I had to wait instead of him just telling me where it was. When it was my turn to be tattooed, I asked if he could put a little paw print over the "i" in my dogs name. He said no. I asked if he could put a heart there? He scoffed and begrudgingly said "ugh, yeah. I guess?" When he did the placement I was unsure if I wanted the front or the back of my arm, so I asked him to do the stencil on the back of my arm too, in which he was annoyed. I was unsure of how the tattoo fit my arm and the placement, and as I stood there and debated with my friend, he offered no insight, just sat there silent and looking disgusted. Meanwhile I am standing there holding my dogs toy, who passed away, just trying to get it right. I have anxiety and the more I could not decide, and the more he made me feel uncomfortable, I was like nervously touching my arm in areas, in which he yelled at me "I TOLD YOU. DONT TOUCH YOUR ARM. THATS NOT SANITARY." Then when I nervously put my phone on the arm of the chair, again got berated for not being sanitary. The more discomfort I felt, I got upset and undecided on the tattoo, to which I offered a solution to us just standing ther awkwardly getting no direction or input from him, and I said "can you just do the freckle tattoo for me while i decide on the placement for my dog tattoo?" to which he appallingly replied, "well I am not your servant." Up until that point, l'd let go being berated for literally every word I said and move I made in the presence of this man, but that was enough for me. I told him the way he had treated me was unacceptable, and that I no longer felt comfortable getting the tattoo for my dog. Since my friend had already gotten her freckle tattoo, I felt I had to at least do that, because it was supposed to be meaningful for us, and I didn't want us leaving with only her having got it done. Defeats the whole purpose. So he did the freckle tattoo for me, then said he would just keep my security deposit($50). So I paid $50 for a freckle tattoo, smaller than a pencil eraser and to be treated in an abusive manner. I waited a few days to post this, to see if he would reach out to try to take accountability, but nothing. I am far from a sensitive person, and I know how to defend myself against bullies, so I post this for the people who might be more sensitive than I, who are unable to stand up for themselves. I would not want anyone else to ever have to go through the experience that I did, as it was emotionally damaging even for me.
