Can't pass up a good bookstore! And on a lay over at the airport? You will find me here looking at all the choices an in heaven. Found out about Dungeon Crawler Carl here and overjoyed! So each to find this store among the other shopping and food places. Great entrance that invites and the staff that makes sure you find what you are looking for. Love this place! All I need know is to find a place for a meal or a drink and start in on my new book.

Storefront near the A gates across from the Dunkin' Donuts express. So cute & cozy!

I always have to stop at the bookstores in every airport & this was another really cute, cozy shop with a nice collection of books! There's something for everyone, but my favorite section was the Harvard Business mini collection on the spinner! The prices for everything (except the plushies) was fair considering typical airport prices so I would say good value overall. The security guard by the door didn't make you feel uncomfortable & the young lady at the counter was really sweet when it came to asking questions or for suggestions! Such a lovely shop & I had a hard time not buying more than I could fit in my luggage.

A bookstore is a must visit for my wife so after checking into our hotel we returned to Union…read moreStation to check out Tattered Cover. Always worth visiting to checkout an indie bookstore. Due to the location it is on the smaller size of a bookstore but understand space is limited so not a giant knock. Despite this they did utilize the space well. They do lack the seats you may find usually to enjoy a book inside the store. But if you buy a book you can go back into the main part of Union Station and read a little. Books are broken into well-labeled sections. They also had a good blend of trendy popular books and plenty of classics. Also a decently large section of kids/younger reader books. As well as many staff picks and local Colorado Authors being highlighted. Nice store to browse around and recommend any readers check it out. Not our all time favorite book store but solid!

Super kind and helpful staff here!…read more Stopped by yesterday after breakfast and got two postcards, one with the Union station on the front and one with the Red Rocks amphitheater which we went to last night. I wish they sold postcard stamps here or at least had a postal machine or something in the station. Excellent use of a small space! Lots of great book selections! We may stop by again before leaving Denver, since it's so conveniently located, especially if we finish the books we brought.

The owner herself, Miss Risa was taking care of creating this unique culinary experience. The first service we chose a peach oolong. This was served with a green salad and broccoli quiche. Wonderful! I cannot tell you what the salad was dressed with, but the flavors!!!! The quiche was absolutely perfect from crust to cheesy top. Second service was Yellow submarine. This refreshing chamomile was infused with dried pineapple and mango. The first cup was good, but the second was delightful. The fruit had time to meld with the chamomile and created an epic infusion. The third service was a Moroccan mint. This was just as wonderful as you would expect. We were served an open face curry egg salad and a homemade fermented cucumber on a seasoned cream cheese. The flavors were wonderful. The sweet serving was a blueberry scone with Lemmon curd, apple cake and macrons. Service was top notch, the owner came over to chat with us. We even had a chance to spend time with one of the guides from the local Black History Museum. This was a delightful end to our amazing day! Thank you for the hospitality

What a cute tea house!…read more We accidentally stumbled across this place as we were heading north of downtown, looking for a place to satisfy our thirst from being in the summer sun, our throats parched from walking 16th mall and strolling in museums. As we came in we were greeted right away and sat at the table by the window where there sat many cool antique teapots. We were instantly wrapped by the coziness and ordered a pot of the Ginger Peach Rooibos. As we waited for the freshly craft to brew, we bopped and grooved to the beats of soulful R&B vibing the space. So chill, so peaceful, so relaxing. When we got our pot of tea, we got a little stand with a candle that kept the pot warm allowing us to take our time sipping on tea. We opt for honey with our tea which went really well with the ginger peach tea. It was so good, we ordered a cold version to go. Lovely place with lovely tea!

When you walk in, it's full of gorgeous decor and plenty of plants, true to their namesake. There is a lot of places for people to come in and take photos, read, buy books, and enjoy the atmosphere. In the lobby, there is complementary sparkling waters, which I thought was really great as I took my time shifting through the different books. The selection was pretty good. There were a lot of books that were "hot" right now on social media, as well as ones that were hidden gems that you may not have heard of. The price was equal to what you'd pay at a big book store chairs (so why not support local!). They also have a selection of used books that are greatly discounted. The person that was working when I went in, was very kind and gave us some recommendations, and also talk to us about our day. I found out that they host quite a bit of community writing events as well, which was so cool to learn!
