Met James and Jamie and got to talk with them about their journey to opening this store. It's more than a business... it's them taking a leap and sharing a passion that their family has with others looking for a place to call "their local shop / hangout". Something I loved was that there wasn't just a big pile of unorganized back issues. Instead, there were complete series of back issues bundled together at reasonable prices so you didn't have to hunt and peck to find them all. Also, there are weekly/monthly episodes available for people of all ages and interests. A good collection of trades as well. Also, they make it very easy to order anything you might not see on the shelves. They've also dedicated a nice chunk of the back of the store to a game area where people can come and hang out and have a place to play and meet. Not my thing, but still really cool for people that need that type of local community spot. Above all, I love that I can take my teenager, and my very small children into this shop and not see near-pornographic fantasy art on the walls. It's a safe place for people of all ages and for parents like me that don't want to expose my small children to adult themes until they're old enough to understand what they're seeing. It's really rare to find a place like this. Owners that take the time to talk to every visitor. People not trying to be an "empire" but to still have a personal touch. It's really a cool little shop and I suggest people give it a shot. At first it may not seem like there's a ton in the store, but just talk to one of the owners and you'll find out that there's more than you can handle nicely organized right in front of you. They need us keep their hours extended. I showed up to pick my order and they told me that somebody had canceled my order. So I take it back the pre-order feature of this store is not even nice. Get your comics from a different place.

After years of shopping at various Game Stops, I'll never do so again!…read moreWe bought a PlayStation high def camera for my nephews birthday, but it turned out to not be the correct equipment we needed, and didn't realize until we had it connected to the PlayStation. Our mistake for buying the wrong product. However, when we took it back the next day, we were informed that we cannot do a return or even in-store credit. It was pointed out that on the bottom of our receipt, it said no returns for any product that has been opened. Understandable if this was a game that we could've played, and then tried to return, etc. That isn't the case. The employee at this location was kind and respectful, the managers that he placed us on the phone to was not. Apparently, every time you make a purchase anywhere, you need to read the bottom of the receipt to make sure that you didn't just get screwed. Pretty unbelievable when local businesses want you to shop with them instead of Amazon. However, Amazon allows you to return things and not waste $60 on the wrong product. So, GameStop, you'll never get another dollar from us again unfortunately will shop at Amazon instead of supporting your local business. Consider this your fine print on YOUR receipt.
