I went here late at night for my friends birthday. It was my first time here and Tasty Indian Bistro did not disappoint. (Granted I havent grown up eating Indian food so my taste buds could differ from someone who grew up eating Indian foods). I ordered take out for dinner off the menu, it wasn't busy at all, they said it would take 25 minutes, it took 40. I didn't get what I ordered (lamb) and there was no rice or sides, just a small chunk of overpriced meat that I didn't order. The food was dry, inedible, overpriced and a joke. For how long it took to make the food and how slow they were while I was there, I expected better quality. Don't waste your time or money. read more

This place doesn't seem like much by just looking at it, but trust me when I say, the food is AMAZING! My husband and I are from England and we definitely know what to look for when it comes to good Indian food. We moved to Everett recently and since last summer have tried every Indian restaurant, all fell short until someone recommended this place. The rice is wonderful absolutely traditional, any dish you order... you can't go wrong on! It tastes fresh, light even though its curry, the chicken is tender and fresh and like I said... out of all the menu items we have ordered, every time the food is must magnificent. Like back in the UK. The cooks and owners know how to balance spices and flavors with such care, depth and flavor. Desi people looking for desi food ... come here now. We had a full vegetarian menu - samosas ; vegetarian biryani; navratan korma. Samosas came with 2 chutney - the mint one was on point. I finished it with a spoon. The biryani had carrots, corn, potato and peas. It was really delicious. The portion size was good enough for two + people with enough for leftovers. I'm never a big fan of navratan korma but couldn't complain too much about it here. The paneer and the mix of vegetables were great. And I rarely enjoy paneer in outside restaurants. read more

DELICIOUS! One of my north-of-Seattle favs! But fair warning, it's in a somewhat lower middle class older apartment homes type of area, in Everett near Boeing. A little hole in the wall in a gas station's mini strip mall. Clean but not much to look at...BUT don't let that fool ya...the food is scrumptious!!! I have enjoyed their Saag (creamy spinach dish with your choice of meat), Curries, Jalfrezi, Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Samosas, Biryanis, etc and am pleased to pronounce them ALL mouth watering. They aren't stingy with their perfectly cooked Basmati and they'll prepare your food to-order, in a reasonable amount of time. They' re wayyyy out of my stomping grounds but I make excuses to end up in south Everett just to get my Tasty fix. This little neighborhood Bistro is fairly new in restaurant terms and we who LOVE their wonderful food are excited to see them prosper because 1) they are warm and lovely folks and 2) if they go away we can't get the Yuuuuum! When I feel like going out to eat, Indian food isn't normally what comes to my mind. But my girlfriend found this place and I am very grateful that she introduced this to me. Their food tastes AMAZING! It's also get a lot for your money. A little over $20 feeds both of us with leftovers! We are still working our way through their entire menu and we have loved all of it. My husband and I just ate here on a visit from our home in Utah and I was hesitant to go, being a native of Everett and casino road's infamous reputation. But my husband found this place on yelp with high reviews and low dollar signs. We gave it a try and it far exceeded my expectations. The dining area is plain and simple, probably so as not to distract from the mind blowing deliciousness! We got the butter chicken and tikka masala, a side salad, mango lassi, aloo naan and paneer naan with lots of leftovers to take home. So, so good and won't break the bank.
