This neighborhood is packed with bars, clubs, restaurants, and coffeeshops and young people who party late into the night. I think we were the first customers to show up when they opened for business at 9:00 AM on Sunday. The two girls that run it were a little bleary-eyed, but got it together for us even though the Rembrantplein was deserted at that hour like a ghost town.

I took one bite and thought, "f*ck these are good." I decided it would be what I brought home to my friends in family. On my last day I stopped in and ordered 4 boxes. They were wonderful. They packaged and boxed everything for me. So easy. I would highly recommend making a stop or two (or three) at Melly's.

I had to fight for five months through my credit card company to get my money back -- a chargeback they even disputed.
