The breading was heavy and soggy. The rice was also dry and did not stick together well. I am hoping they just had an off night. But I will wait for Curry-Ya next time. read more

My friend and I come in for lunch 2 times now but every time we go in, the younger lady is never nice. And I feel bad because we don't want to disturb her, but we have like weird experiences every time. The food is okay, it looks so much better online. Discovered this place a couple of weeks ago. We had the ramen and the boiling shrimp. They were both good. I hate leaving bad reviews and this breaks my heart. Today, we came in at 8:35pm on a Friday night. Normal posted closing hour is 9:30pm. When we got there, we were told that we only have until 8:50pm to dine in. What?? MY GO TO FOR SEAFOOD BOIL!! They have great combos that includes appetizers with your boil. You can also get ramen if you're not interested in the boil too lots of good options and they also sell boba tea as well. It's a small little restaurant usually see mostly to go orders. We visited on Saturday for lunch with a party of three adults and two small children and it was an ok experience. We arrived and were told to seat ourselves in their small dining area. The server came by and we placed our orders. We started with some apps; Pork Gyoza, Crab Rongoon, Shrimp Teppanyaki, and Baked Mussels. After that we went with Terriyaki Chicken, Curry Rice, Seafood Ramen, a pound of headless shrimp and a pound of clams. All the food was excellent, fresh and came out quickly. The "Oh My God" spice level had a tremendous kick. The quality and taste were great. The service was also good. There were a couple issues. First, I am not sure they had air conditioning or they were just trying to not use it. The door was wide open and the small seating area was the same temp as outdoors, which was warm. When the bill came, I noticed a 15% Room Service Charge. WTH?? We were not a large party and the server never mentioned this. They also had suggested gratuity percentages on their total bill, including this charge. I will say I have ordered from this place to my home previously and found the food delicious. I went to eat in to see how it is in person today to support a small business near my home and was less than impressed. Started with baked mussels, they came out almost room temp but the taste was there. I ordered the black garlic ramen with extra egg and extra pork. The eggs were pre cooked and cold. The pork was noticeably cold, even while sitting in the ramen. By the end of my meal due to the temp of the broth, the last few pieces of pork were warm. The taste and heat (taste for a too hot) of the broth was fantastic which is why they are getting 3 and not 2 stars. read more

The first thing I noticed is the breading on the chicken. It didn't look crunchy. I'm not sure if it wasn't fried but it was not crunchy. It was like biting into soft bread. I was craving curry so I decided to order from this business on UberEats. I feel like this place might be better in person than delivery. I have orderd from this place a few times to give it a chance on what food they are good in. I have ordered their Chicken katsu curry and some fried shrimp tempura, I realized at how light brown the fry is on the chicken katsu. By the time I got it, any of the fried items are kind of soggy. The fried shrimp had abit of a oil taste. The curry was kind of bland too. I have also tried their tonkatsu black garlic ramen in the past and I think I enjoyed their ramen more than their curry. Their boba is probably something I would reorder, I really enjoy their strawberry milk tea. The Okinawa milk tea is really creamy but I have also enjoyed it. Food: Crab Boil with Snow Crab Legs, Shrimp with Head On and added corn and sausage. We ordered it mild-medium with Tasty Special Sauce. What stood out is the lemon served in the middle of the bag. Similar to hot n juicy and those types of places but just a smaller menu. You pick sauces, spice level, and different add ins. I got shrimp and mussels and their house special sauce & I really loved the sauce. I would say it was a bit salty but it was good. The shrimp and mussels were cooked well. Ordered Togo here for dinner. They had BOGO free starters if you order/pay online. We got chicken wings, shrimp tempura, chicken karage, baked mussels, chicken nuggets and Thai tea. I had ordered from this place once before and wanted to try their seafood boiled green mussels this time, so I ordered one pound of green mussels. Drove all the way there to pick it up. After I got home I found out they gave me the wrong item. It wasn't one pound of seafood boiled green mussels, it was 5 pieces of baked mussels with some kind of sauce that didn't smell appealing to me. I called the restaurant and she told me to come back for the correct order of green mussels but it took me 20 mins each way. I wasn't going to drive back there again. She took my name down for next time ordering. When I asked for a refund, she said she would check with her manager and give me a call back. I haven't received a call back, so I had to reach out to Ubereats for help. Then the egg fried rice was also a disappointment. The ingredients shown on the menu that the egg fried rice consists of eggs, green onions, bean sprouts, and corn. But there was only eggs and corn, NO bean sprouts or green onions. Mussels in tasty special sauce Cajun fries Sweet potatoes fries. 6:31 I get a call that the order was canceled. The reason. All roads closed. ALL ROADS CLOSED?! What I did. Went to the restaurant. Had to reorder and wait. Defeats the purpose of delivery right? Not their fault. ALL GRUB HUB! Driver picked up, saw that there was a block road by my home, and canceled the order. No call at all. I placed an order online like I always do but this my experience wasn't so great. The first issue is, I ordered a lobster tail and the restaurant didn't have any. Instead of calling me to let me know, they wrote it on the receipt and said that Grub Hub was going to refund me. Secondly, I only ordered a half pound of crab legs because I ordered a lobster tail. My crab legs were super thin, salty, and tasted fishy. I've ordered about an hour to closing before and the I was given crab legs that were salty and fishy tasing as well. Usually I get crab legs that are a good size and meaty. I'm thinking I got the bottom of the barrel due to closing time. Also, I never order from other places like Hot&Juicy or Pier88 because I would get red water instead of sauce. With this order I was disappointed because I got more water in my bag than sauce and it just reminded of the other places I refuse to go to. After reviewing the menu, we decided to order the following 1 Chicken Ramen with extra noodles. 1 Shoyu 1 Fried rice with chicken 1 Cajun French Fries All of the food came out at once. It wasn't staggered between the orders. The chicken ramen was just okay. The noodle that was used, isn't typical with what I see in other restaurants that specialize in ramen. The extra noodles provided was too hard to eat as it wasn't cooked in the broth. The Fried Rice with chicken was decent. It was slightly too salty and over seasoned. The Cajun French Fries were good though! The French Fries had a decent amount of heat and was friend perfectly. The price wasn't too bad either for all of the food we ordered, approximately $45.00.
