I am not recommending this place, don't go! I picked up a gyros plate, with 2 pita breads, last night to go: I had to explicitly ask for the meat not to be fried on the grill, but it was still dry anyway when I ate it. There was no tzatziki sauce (sour cream with cucumber), instead there was a ranch-style dressing with small chunks in it, YUCH! Then, to make it worse, on the side there were only 4 small, thin half slices of tomatoes and not enough thin slices of onion for two sandwiches, AND the onions were not fresh. And to make matters worse, there was not enough meat to fill two sandwiches. This place was better before and the people there didn't smile - all 3 of them were surly. As I was waiting for my carryout, a high school couple came in (to the empty restaurant at 4pm - why is it empty at 4pm? hmmmmm) and ordered hot dogs and fries to eat there. I saw the hot dogs and it seemed that that they were extremely light-handed on the condiments. As I was leaving I heard the boy tell that girl that the bun on his hot dog was hard - it was stale. It's really too bad, it used to be a great place for food, perhaps they're going out of business. Anyway, I would highly recommend going elsewhere because this place is done. read more

Just had a Greek salad. Paid over $6.00. Total waste of money!!! There was hardly any lettuce and 3 soggy olives. I've unfortunately tried to give this place a few different tries and I will never go back. The food is horrible and the prices are way too high. read more

This is typical lunch-counter fast food. It's a step up on McDonald's across the street, with a much wider variety, for not very much more money. It's super casual, lots of carry-out, but I'd much rather eat here than a chain fast food place. Their burgers are ok, but they have a lot of typical Chicago-area sandwiches that are better (Italian beef, Italian Sausage, etc.). It's nothing fancy, and it's not going to blow your socks off, but it's a great fast food alternative for a $6-7 lunch. read more

Has been awhile since we visited. However, we ordered Gyros and pretty much everything was wrong with the pickup order. The place was empty, employs talking on cell phones and of all things the kitchen area behind the counter was not clean at all. I have never been this hard on a place before so please note that. Yesterday me and my son stopped in here. My son warned me it was not good as he had been here before. He ordered a "Bacon" Cheeseburger meal. I ordered the Beef Sandwich meal. Let me add I should have left when I saw how dingy this place was with dirty tables and the area where you get your straws and napkins was in shambles. The "bacon" was not real?! (Facon?)It was made out of some rubbery substance and looked disgusting. His bun was hard like a rock, and I swear on my good name he knocked on the top and said "Hello is anybody there"? So at least we got to laugh about it. It was literally and pile of slop with condiments all over the place.The french fries were burnt...I mean every single one of them. My son as I have written before fancies himself a burger connoisseur, said it was the worst burger that he has ever had, and ended up throwing it away. My son has never thrown a burger out in his life...I promise. I have absolutely no idea how this place is still open! I always hear people talk about negative experiences here but I thought they could be exaggerating. Long story short...they weren't. I would have taken a picture, but I didn't want the level of grossness to reflect of my camera. The inside could use some MAJOR UPDATING. The people there aren't too personable and they seem miserable whenever I was there. They have never taken my order with a smile. Its almost like your are annoying them I'll be surprised if they can make it out of our recession as well. The food was nothing special. I've been going to this place since they opened, spending $25-30 a pop each visit over the years. The quality is getting worse and worse. Just spent $26.00 there for family. Went in at 8:15pm, they are open until 9pm. The fries were soggy because they only blanched them cause fryer was not hot enough since they turned it off early, hoping no more customers would come in. My beef sandwich was the cheapest quality of beef I have ever tasted, my sons cheeseburger looked like a hot mess, slapped together. This place has gotten worse and worse of late on quality. Customer service has always sucked, they act like your annoying them, but now add in bad food and this place now becomes not worth spending my hard earned money at. Hopefully someone opens a REAL Chicago style hot dog joint out here soon. read more

I work at Angie's tobacco and cigar and I ordered a Gyro burger and a Caesar salad and a corndog The gyro burger was plain and the burger was nasty my wife ordered a Caesar salad and it wasn't Caesar salad it had no parmesan or croutons what they gave me was a garden salad with garlic dressing and their fried oil is really bad it tast like they haven't changed it in 2 to 3 weeks the fries were disgusting and the corn dog was disgusting I would not recommend this place to anybody read more

This was the most disgusting food we have had in a long time. We paid $6 for a Combo that was made with Carl Budding type beef. It was inedible. The Gyro was gross with not fresh toppings.
