The Chef's Table Dinners are phenomenal and I'm surprised not more people know about these events. I attended the Friendsgiving Thanksgiving themed dinner with Chef Jorge Montes and it was fantastic. I also more recently attended the Burmese Chef's Table Dinner with Chef May Aungthet Ahmay and it was excellent. I look forward to attending more of these events and I understand that many are planned. They are also doing a food delivery service, which I'd love to try. The class was so much fun and everyone was friendly. They have classes scheduled every month so check out @communityclassroomproject on IG frequently. Proceeds from these events support the CCK's mission to enhance the well-being of South Florida families through the joy of cooking and communal dining. Since launching, they have provided several scholarships to area students for culinary camps and donated several thousand meal boxes to families in need. They recently received a $40,000 grant from the Children's Services Council to continue their work in the community.

We bought a Breville coffee pot from the Sur La Table in West Palm Beach earlier this week and…read moreafter putting it together, it was not functioning. My wife called Breville and they told her it was malfunctioning and to bring it back as the water didn't heat and it didn't drip. We attempted to return it to the Sur La Table in Mizner Park in Boca Raton with the original purchase receipt from West Palm Beach. The manager of the Boca Raton store, Anastasia said that since it was opened and used that she would not be able to issue a credit throughout credit card account, but could exchange it or give us an in store credit. This is contrary to what was printed on the receipt. From other stores, we have made a purchase at one store and returned it to another of their stores. Recently, we purchased something from Tommy Bahama when we were in Sarasota and was able to return it to the Tommy Bahama in the Boca Raton mall. There was no issue as we had the original receipt. Why did we get a hard time returning a defective coffee maker to another Sur La Table? We tried setting up the coffee maker but we never were able to use it as it didn't work. We now have to make another trip to West Palm Beach to return the coffee maker to the Sur La Table that we purchased it from within the 30 day return period. This is a big inconvenience to us. We will be telling our friends and neighbors about this experience at the Boca Raton Sur La Table. We no longer will shop at Sur La Table.

Anastasia, the manager said that since it was opened & used they can't give me money back on my credit card. They would give me a gift card or an exchange. I argued with her that I couldn't use it that if I could've used it, I would've kept it. Anastasia, the manager went through every item and checked the serial numbers with the numbers on the box and then had real difficulty putting it all back together again. Now that I understand Sur La Table does not take defective items back with the receipt in the original packaging two days after purchase - I WILl NOT SHOP HERE Again!!!! I have spread the word and told my friends and neighbors on next-door! It's a shame I love to cook, and I was a regular with this being my go to store!

The main course included a choice of chicken with lemon piccata sauce , honey garlic glazed salmon, lemon parmesan vegetables pasta, rice and a melody of assorted vegetables. The delectable dessert included chocolates, cookies, macaroons, along with mini selections of Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cake, Cheesecakes and other treats. Wines, soft drinks, iced tea and coffee were served. There was an abundance of food and everything was delicious. Michael and his staff were amazing. There was plenty of food for everybody and enough staff to serve and clean up after us. The set up was beautiful and delicious, we were served in a professional efficient manner and they did an amazing cleanup.
