Super cute spot and CLEAN! Pretty small.....no seating but the food is front and center. We were greeted by Aisha the owner of this cute little gem. She had so much passion when she spoke about her food.....I LOVE THAT! Super sweet and personable. We felt welcome upon entering. The food was incredible....exceeded all of my expectations. We ordered 2 of almost everything. Spanakopita, Buffalo Empanadas, Potato Samosas, Guava Cheese Pastry, Meat Filled Pastry, Cream Horns, "Ham and Cheese" Pastry, Cookies, and more empanadas. She includes heating instructions for her product....LOVE THAT! She cooks small batches to keep her product fresh throughout the day.......PASSION! Everything was incredible! Aisha is American born with Indian and Middle Eastern roots and it is front and center in her food. So much flavor! The Spanakopita was a "lemony spinachy" piece of heaven! The Cream Horn was..... WHAT!!!!! I just can't even....... I definitely suggest that you check her out! You will not be disappointed. The non-vegans will be impressed and the vegans will feel bamboozled.

The servers that helped me with my food were the funnest bunch ever and their recommendations were spot on. Go for the crispy cauliflower without thinking twice about it and I would recommend the mac & cheese and the candy yams. I thought it was a dine in place, it's not so keep this in mind. I would love to see this turn into an everyday restaurant with dine in. Food portions are usually huge. The sauces (your pick) rocked. Currently open only Tue-Fri from 11-6pm so keep that in mind as well. Real easy to find off of Powerline Road. Very reasonable prices (don't believe me, try an all vegan restaurant like Planta and then compare.) Took a 1/2 day off of work to try this place out and I'm still smiling. You should too.

Despite the odor i decided to taste. The rice and peas had a funny taste, brown stew chicken salty and the "oxtail" never tasted like oxtail, frozen vegetables were used for the stir fry vegetables, the salt fish was missing from the saltfish fritters. The large portions were more like medium portions. We spent all of $45 which went down the drain. There is still an after-taste lingering as I type. We called customer service before writing this and their response was that they used Jasmine rice, and "sorry about that" and "okay" to everything else. I honestly am very disappointed and would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I got the fried chicken for my friends daughter because some kids are pretty picky and do not like to eat what they do not know. It was my first time trying it and it was pretty good. There were a few people already sitting down enjoying their food, and ordering was quick and easy. The hostess was really sweet, hair laid too , and even the other patrons were accommodating. Now to the food! I got the griot with diri djon djon and remember paying a little over $20 including tip, which I thought was pretty good for the portion. I would've preferred the rice to be a little fresher, but it was still enjoyable. The onion garnish had a nice kick, and they gave me both sauce and pikliz on the side. The griot was good, and as somebody who loves my protein, I appreciated the portion. Every other piece had that perfect little fatty, crispy crust on it that I love. ‍ I also got the old-school crispy green plantains, which hit the spot. Overall, everything was cool. No real complaints. It was exactly what I needed: decent portions, good Haitian food, reasonable price, and a quick in-and-out transaction. I'd stop by again if I'm in the area and need my Haitian food fix.
