Home fries, fried egg and I would have hidden the corned beef also
Ieshia T.

Took me forever it seemed like to find a breakfast spot while in the area. People had good reviews and it wasn't that far from me so I placed my order. Was easier to call it in then order online since I couldn't find exactly what I wanted. Yes, I ordered corned beef hash lol I asked for it to be crispy/fried hard so it wasn't mushy but that didn't happen and it wasn't appetizing at all. The potatoes were seasoned unlike I have ever tasted before and was happy they actually seasoned their food instead of offering bland potatoes you'll typically get for breakfast. I tried mixing them with the hash but that was just wrong to treat the home fries like that. I had high hopes for the banana bread french toast but it just seemed like a piece of banana bread that was put on the griddle. There was no french toast batter on it like I expected. It wasn't that sweet either so if it had been drenched in a french toast batter, it wild have been perfect. Then sprinkle some powder sugar on top, elavation! Especially with how big the slices were

Sunday lunch in Queens calls for one lamb Gyro $5.95 from a local café/ deli. It was solid with substance as I was able to eat my fill. Takeout menu contains many options of sandwiches, salads, burgers, wraps, gyros, breakfast sandwiches, and party platters. Delivery is available. Minimum $8.50 for credit/debit card charge. My pita bread for Gryro was very stale. Seating is available. Deli café is surprisingly clean. Service is very slow with two people behind the checkout counter all hustling busy taking orders, fulfilling orders, writing bills, and preparing for delivery.

Ordered breakfast , took an hour to deliver , food arrived cold , they forgot my drinks, called the delivery guy in hopes he would turn back with drinks , instead he told me to call the store and hung up, I called the store and the person who answered asked me if I wanted store credit or the drinks ??? For TWO apple juices

Blown away! We have been blown away by how good the food is and how much we are loving the meals. We are on our third week and we have loved all our recipes. We can't believe what they provide for the price. So worth it! We are eating like we have a chef at home! Good breakfast was super duper good. Keep up the good work!!

I just ordered delivery from here a little over an hour ago. They took exactly 1 hour and 10 minutes to arrive here. Mind you, we ordered 2 breakfast entrees, (and a grilled chicken order which never made it to us). When the food arrived, the coffee was spilled all over the bag. I asked for milk with my coffee, and got just black coffee. We ordered a soup, which arrived with the broth completely spilled all over the bag. I called Eat24 to complain, and they got on the line with the restaurant who asked me to send them photos of the disaster of an order. I sent over the photos, and fortunately, Eric was very apologetic - he offered to redeliver the order, or process a refund. Will never order from here again. However, they were professional with the apology.

I ordered Nutella French toast and got this??? Horrible experience. Food I've tried in this area isn't the best - but this might be the worst

We were able to make reservations. As you know we tear the bday girl so it came out to about 40 dollars including tip per person. We weren't a big drinking group but if you are add another 10-30 per person if everyone is going to have a drink or two. Food was pretty good. It's an open pitch concept. So you can see them prepping your food. Wait staff was super nice and friendly. Decor is rustic ao super cute for pics. Chicken and waffles were a hit at our table. A few ppl had mimosas ans were please with the oj to champagne ratio. The chocolate mouse was delicious ! I had the salmon burger it was not a salmon patty it was a cut of salmon The culmination of the customer service and ambience I give them a five. Food is good and decent portion size.

It is a residential area so keep that in mind. We were seated right away during the midday hour. There were other people there but it wasn't overly crowded which was really relaxing and comfortable. The service was exceptional. To put a cherry on top of this review, I would like to add that we asked for the manager and she came over to our table sat with us, had coffee, and we had a really great conversation about so many different topics. That really was impressive because it's so important for managers to know their customers, and to know the community that they are doing business in. One to the food, the jerk salmon was well seasoned, and well prepared. It was cooked to a great temperature and tasted really good. The chicken and waffles were well seasoned and the waffle was so fluffy and warm and nice. I really appreciated the fact that although it was chicken tenders, the batter was seasoned really well and you could taste something other than just chicken. lol. I would definitely return because I saw so many things on the menu that I would want to try. they also serve mimosas, wine, and lots of hot drinks and I want to try their mimosa flight.

I still patronize this business on special occasions and holidays like i said all their bakery items are good but for a everyday breakfast stop definitely not.... They do offer Breakfast & Lunch they have a full kitchen & menu; They do have plenty of seating; Parking out front on the boulevard it's a hit or miss; we have commercial trucks so we can't use their parking lot in the rear.... Happy to see the restaurant offering specials so I ordered Cuban sandwiches, Bacalao(fried cod fish), Cuban ham croquettes, Yuca fries(came with red onions) and regular French fries. The Cubans' roast pork was well-seasoned and accompanied with plantain chips, all items brought a delicious sauce, and fresh garlic, nice touch. The Cubans were 4/5, the Bacalao were 5/5, as were the Yuca and regular fries. I personally prefer different bread, with more pickles and ham, but definitely recommend this place and will plan a visit to dine-in, to try their fresh juices and other menu items. I ordered delivery so could not report on service, beyond everything was well-packaged with care.

The flavors are a little off for me, but still a good version. The ropa vieja also lacked a little something, but they use tri-tip instead of the usual flank steak, which felt more tender. The owner Benny was also kind enough to give us some free desserts to take home, which were pretty good. With that said, what intrigued me the most was the interesting story about how Benny fell into this restaurant situation after swearing he would never be in this industry again. He is a strong believer in supporting the community, and has a nonprofit called Hungry Monk Rescue Truck that deals with food insecurity in NYC. We need more people like him in this world. Let's show our support for a business we can be proud to dine at.

10/10 for food and service…read more Came here with my cousin for breakfast on Sunday around 11am. There's one person who works behind the counter and I assume one person who is doing the cooking. I got the pancakes with blueberries with a side of bacon and the honey cinnamon latte. My cousin got the sausage egg and cheese roll with a drip coffee. Both of our meals were delicious and so was the coffee. My cousin who doesn't drink coffee often said that the coffee here is of top quality. I'll definitely be coming back!

I heard him making jokes with customers and asking people for feedback. Now to the rest of it: service is weird and slow. When we were seated, we had to wait a little bit until receiving menus. Water wasn't automatically given to us also, so you have to ask. A woman took down our order, but later asked if we got waffles, even though I said pancakes - overall took 25 minutes to get our order of a salad and pancakes. Pancake platter came with two pancakes, two eggs, and a couple berries on the side. There's also an option to add sausage or bacon but no price there, which adds to the confusion. When we pointed it out, they removed the charge from our bill. There were maybe 3 people who stood behind the coffee bar which is kind of around a corner, making it hard to get service if you're not in their field of vision. Kind of strange there isn't a clear welcoming desk or something like that. Also, I think the menu uses AI as photos - there's a picture of a burger with fries and chips, but I don't think they serve chips. There's also a picture of cake with garlic next to it, which could be an artistic choice. We didn't get any drinks, but there was a table next to us who abandoned their full cups of Nutella lattes which was interesting.
