This work involved not only doing some leftover packing, but working with the movers, storage location, and the cleaning service. My husband and I have worked with Heidi in two capacities, and cannot recommend her highly enough!!! 1) Heidi took fantastic care of our dog when my husband and I both had to be out of the country this summer. Idaho (our dog, a rat terrier) LOVED her immediately (and he is picky about his humans. She took him for long walks, to the beach, and sent us lots of photos and messages detailing their adventures. I actually think Idaho was a little sad when we came home and he had to leave Heidi's lovely apartment! 2) Heidi did such a fantastic job of taking care of Idaho that we asked her to serve as the Day-of Coordinator for our wedding this past month. She did an amazing job!!! Even though we had really just hired her to coordinate things on the day of the wedding itself, she gave us help and support from day one. Her enthusiasm was infectious, she was wonderful at brainstorming solutions to problems, and (thanks in part to her years of experience in the hotel industry) she thought of all kinds of details that we ourselves might have missed. She was a rock of support on the day itself, and she worked extremely well with vendors, support staff, caterers, and my various family members. She even thoughtfully phoned the hotel where we were staying for the night and got us an upgrade to a business suite! I hired Heidi based on other reviews, especially the ones mentioning her way with dogs. If you are good with dogs then you have to have it together. The reviews were all that I had to gauge her relaibility and trustworthiness. I hired Heidi in December to put our corporate apartment together in advance of my husband flying into Chicago. We live out of state and I needed someone to be there when the utilities were hooked up, when the rental furniture arrived and I also needed her to unpack all of the boxes, including kitchen and bathroom supplies. All in all she took a blank canvas and ensured that my husband walked into a comforting turnkey apartment. Since I am a control freak I was anxious about not being there myself but Heidi instantly put me at ease and assured me that all would be well. All was well and I look forward to hiring her for more projects (adventures) in the future.
