Recommended by my condo to fix a leak in my shower, I am sorry I ever used them. After a long delay "waiting for a part", they did a horrible job. After charging $1500 for parts and labor, they left my shower with two non working heads (they never even checked before leaving). The knob on the new piece immediately fell off the next day, and I had to have someone repair their shoddy work. In addition, I had them change a kitchen faucet. They did that, but left the pressure so high I get soaked from the backsplash (I later leaned to adjust the valves below the sink, and that fixed the issue). But it speaks volumes about their work! Unprofessional to the core! I'd recommend, run don't walk, to another plumbing company. I have shared my dissatisfaction with management, and hopefully they will consider another company to recommend when an owner has an issue. My AC was laboring and I became concerned it might quit. I called Tasco and forwarded a photo of my external coils. They immediately called me back with a competitive and transparent price and time availability of technician. This occurred within 45 min of my initial call. I left my office to meet the technician at my apartment on Brickell who arrived within 15 minutes of his estimated time. He was a consummate professional and courteous. I learned a lot from watching him and after this experience will ensure to be proactive in using Tasco to maintain my AC unit. DCML read more

First of all, buy a vacuum cleaner for your guys to vacuum dust as it's created when you work in people's furnished homes; that's what quality residential plumbers do. You don't come in a home where people are living and do the job as though you were on a construction site, with no protective equipment, proper tools for cleaning or consideration for people's belongings. Also, even if there was no pandemic, workers should wear booties when entering a residence. Your guys closed the door from the bathroom to my closet but ignored the fact that it couldn't close all the way because it had a hanging shoe rack on it. So, they just ignored that fact and allowed my entire wardrobe and bedroom to get covered in debris. Thank you for that. Had we known, we could have removed the shoe rack so the door could be closed all the way. Further, when we initially agreed on $385 for the job, there was no mention of an additional charge if you couldn't enter the wall through sheetrock from another room vs. the marble where the problem was. You don't show up at someone's home and try to extort an extra $200 from them because you think you can get away with that because the people are desperate to stop a leak in their home "during a pandemic." Totally immoral. Totally sleazy. Not that this is even relevant, because it isn't, but it took your guys an extra +/- 20 minutes to go through marble than sheetrock. And, unlike your guys initially estimated, it didn't take breaking up to 10 marble rectangles or so much extra time. That was a total exaggeration to make asking for an extra $200 totally legitimate. They quickly cut the proper shape opening on 3 rectangles. They should be able and prepared to work in bathrooms. They expected my wife to clear a totally packed walk-in closet in order to break through the wall to make their job a little easier. After finally agreeing to accept the pre-agreed up price, paying them that and a tip both in cash, the boss, Frank, called the next morning and tried to bully us. Instead of apologizing for the whole ordeal, he threatened to put a lien on our property if we didn't pay the extra $200. Tasco has now been banned from our building. Unfortunately due to the nepotism in my Condominium building they won't allow any other company other than this substandard joke of a company. They never send out an actual plumber, it's always an apprentice who's literally learning on the job by themselves. They only have 1 apprentice/"plumber" that speaks English. The lady who answers the phones "Mariela" decides to charge $50 extra per hour for the English speaking plumber. I've had them out here at least 8 times in the past 24 months. Once they charge your credit card they then set your job off to the side citing that they're "waiting on parts" hoping that you'll forget about your leaking toilet altogether, stating it takes them 6 weeks to get parts for a toilet. Parts that can be found at Home Depot with a 300% mark up on parts from wherever they get them from that allegedly takes "6 weeks". For me it feels as though I'm being held hostage, they have my money. They won't return it, meanwhile after making payment they set you off to the side until they have a slow week to send someone else back out who may or may not be able to fix your plumbing issue, in my case it's a toilet. They call you and expect you to just randomly be home at their convenience, as if no one has to go to work. I have to take off work and lose money just so they can send out someone to (maybe) fix the issue. I wouldn't recommend them, nor would I even use them ever again if it wasn't the only option given to me by the building management. If I had the time I'd further investigate as to why they're the only company I can use. Furthermore, when speaking to employees over the phone (after already having made payment) when they use the excuse of "waiting on parts" speaking to the employee over the phone and reminding them that they can pick up the parts at Home Depot they say "Well then you should go get the parts at Home Depot". I have an expensive condo and had some cloudy water due to building shutdown of the water. Frank investigated the problem over the phone with video and concluded that it was temporary due to air pockets and to avoid a costly service call. I have known Frank, an owner of TASCO for years and he is very committed to his clients and his staff. There are a hundred Frank stories where he has saved us money and looked out for us. I had my AC break down a few years ago and did not know that Tasco provided emergency service. The other company told me I needed a new air handler and so I got quotes from a couple AC companies and called Tasco for a bid. Frank came and told me they were trying to rip me off and my air handler would last a few more years and it just needed a cleaning. Another time had a water leak water going everywhere and called Tasco in the middle of the night. Frank answered the phone, and came to fix the leak with his guys in the middle of the night. He even called in a water/mold remediation company and stayed to make sure that everything was done right. I have never ever known anyone as hard working as Frank nor as honest. I would not hesitate to recommend him and do, in fact, to all my Clients. read more

Last week when I was out of the country, I received a phone call from my wife that our A/C was not working properly. My wife was at home with (3) children under 6 years old. I reached out to Tasco at 7:30pm and within 1-hour, somebody was out my house to inspect my unit. Unfortunately, my compressor was bad and I needed to replace the unit. Frank from Tasco (knowing that my wife was home alone with the kids) made sure somebody was there at 7:00am to replace my unit the following day. In a service related industry, they are definitely at the top of the pack. This review does not give justice to how much they helped me out. I would absolutely use them again and would recommend them to anybody. read more

I am a Realtor that manage several properties for client's. Under the recommendation of the Association of #TurnberryTowers called this company to do a simple repair of a leak on a refrigerator due to the external connection. The appointment setter at Tasco was very pleasant and told me it was a $95 visit charge plus the parts, something that should have cost $95 let's say plus $20 (the part actually cost $2). So a total of $115. Well they did not have the part so the technician had to go and buy it and came back, so the work got done, but they charged us $230!!!!!, we complaint and manage to get it done to $190 still an over charge, taking advantage of customers. And in order to send a Plumber you had to give them a credit card, so they have you. My advice to the association and to you is to look for a reliable and honest company that does not want to take you for a ride. read more

I replaced both my AC and hot water heater in the past year and whenever I have a service issue they check to see if under warranty before proceeding. Today we called tasco because our sink was clogged. We were told over the phone the charge was $95.00 per hour. We agreed to that charge. The guys came over quickly. Unfortunately at the time to make the payment they wanted to charge us a fee of $100.00 extra for "use of materials" meaning the snake they use to unclogged the sink. We called the company to explain that the agreement was $95.00 per hour. Nobody mentioned a charge of 100.00 extra for using a snake ( a necessary tool to unclogged a sink). The worst moment was WHEN WE TRIED TO EXPLAINT THE SITUATION TO THE OWNER FRANCISCO ENRIQUEZ A/K/A "Frank" he started making threats saying he knows where we live. He went further as to state that he was going to "come over my house, bang on the door, and kick my ass." The threats continued. We had to call the cops, the Miami Dade police is taking care of the situation. We take threats seriously, especially after what the south Florida community has to experience yesterday. The most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Came to "fix" our washer and charged $200 dollars to then find out it wasn't fixed AND THEY BROKE THE DRYER!!! We didn't notice till the next day. Asked them to come back and fix what we already payed them to fix and took 3 weeks to get ahold of them to have them tell us it's not their problem. Owner wouldn't return calls he's always "out". Anyways, we will be going to a meeting at our condo to have them out of the building because I have never heard a decent thing to be said about the company or employees for a matter of fact! very poor customer service , felt overcharged and told contradiction as the staff explained afterwords that i was being charge 2 hours ( $90/hour) because the tech had to go get the tools at the hardware store and it was out of his way when asked the day before i was told i will be charge for the garbage disposal itself and $90 per hour on instalation.wow $325 for a $74.5 garbage disposal and 25 minute instalation job, BRAVO ! good luck keeping up your returning customers if any . Totally agree with the other review. This place has HORRIBLE customer service. The workers consistently and blatantly overcharge for time. One of the guys working broke something. I spoke to the manager who started to get an attitude and tell me he was not responsible. After I had a discussion with him about the bill and he was literally shouting. I have actively served as a board member for over 15 years in various capacities such as President, Vice-President and Director of a 396 unit high rise building on Brickell Key Island in downtown Miami. Through this service, along with contact I have had with our management company, I have had the opportunity to evaluate the work of many vendors and their employees while on our property. I have to say that Tasco Plumbing and Air Conditioning has always been extremely professional, dependable and trustworthy. Their pricing has always been in line with comparable vendors and they go the extra mile. No matter what time of day or night if we have an issue they have immediately responded to our building to resolve the situation. I remember seeing them at 1:30 am for a burst riser that resulted in major flooding and the owner of the company was on sight with our manager and employees. I can't say enough about the level of professionalism for Frank and his employees. I would recommend them without hesitation knowing the job will get done right the first time. read more
