I've never met Jose at JP. My wife met him at our home for the repair. With that said, book him for your AC needs. He clearly explained our options and made really good recommendations. He did not try to push a new unit on us (the company that we had worked with for years didn't do any of this. It only wanted us to buy a new unit. We've come to learn that he was gatekeeping other options because he didn't want to be bothered or he wanted us to pick a solution that was more profitable for him). We took the repair option. It's been several weeks and things are running smoothly. We are aware that our 15 year old unit won't last forever and we'll have to pony up the $$$ for a new unit. However, having a pro take us through our options and carefully explain things to us was clutch. Ultimately, the service was great. His execution of the work was great (both the repair and the tune up work we needed). His price was very fair. We're not calling anyone else for our AC needs. I called this morning around 9am and Jose was able to schedule to come by and look at the A/C the same day at noon. He was punctual and had an associate with him. He explained that the problem was the capacitor and he replaced it. The price was fair. I noticed that the water sensor for the a/c was on after they left, I texted him and he offered to immediately come look at it but I had to leave for work so we agreed for later that night. His associate came, used CO2 to clear the line and the a/c was working fine after that. He explained that the water sensor was a separate issue but they were doing it as a favor and didn't charge me this time to clear the line. I have been doing business with JP Florida AC for a couple of years now. Jose has always been reliable and responsive when my old ac would give out on me in the late afternoons. He was able to keep my old unit alive for a couple of years and was always fair in his prices. Thankfully when I was ready for my new unit I knew who to call. It was very refreshing to find people like Jose. He schedule an appointment for the next day, showed up on time and fixed my AC problem in less than 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised with his honesty and fair prices.. I thought I had to replace the compressor, I even suggested that to him, he asked me take a look.. 15 minutes later the problem was fixed, it was a loose cable, nothing needed replacement. JP Florida Air Conditioning is my Air Conditioning company for all future needs. I placed a call for an estimate to clean my coils in both of my two units. Jose responded immediately. He came and checked to see that the coils needed to be cleaned and looked to be sure the units were in good working order. We scheduled an appointment for the next day for the coil cleaning. Jose let me know when he was on his way and arrived exactly at the scheduled time. The work was done quickly and great care was taken to see that there was no mess or damage to the surrounding area. I'm not used to writing reviews but when I recognize great craftsmanship I have to give credit when credit is due. I just want to start off by saying "Thank you" to Jose and his excellent crew at JP Florida Air Conditioning. I called Jose and explained to him that my air handler in my garage has been leaking air from small openings in the air duct that returns to the unit and pushes cool air back to the house. It was starting to create mold around the areas leaking. I contacted Jose late afternoon and he was there the following day to take a look and give me a quote. Excellent response time!! He immediately recognized the issue and gave me a quote on the spot that was very fair. His crew showed up the next day on time and began the work right away. Honest, knowledgeable, hardworking, punctual, great communicator, nice, reasonable prices AND gives FREE HVAC service & installation estimates?! Yes, that describes Jose, owner of JP Florida Air Conditioning. I wish I could clone Jose & create a plumber, electrician, handyman, auto technician, etc. with those exact qualities, it's very difficult finding that in south Florida. My A/C unit looks original to my 1990s condo. I knew the day would come where it would need to be replaced. The interior unit recently started to leak & so I assumed the day had come. Jose inspected it & told me it looked to be in great shape, only needed deep cleaning & replace a minor part. He gave me tips to keep it running well & said he believed A/C unit should last another year, most likely even longer than that. Never mentioned replacing the A/C unit so no sales pitch pressure to buy a new unit. I definitely agree with the other reviewers.....Jose is a great guy. He's honest and have very fair prices. I called him because our HVAC outdoor unit ( I think it's called the condenser unit ) was making a loud annoying buzz/hum that was driving me and probably my neighbors insane. Jose came out diagnose the problem quickly as a bad contactor. It only took him several minutes to swap out the old bad contactor for the new one. He didn't seem to be rushing to leave quickly or annoyed as my mother and I bombarded him with additional questions about our indoor air handler....he was very patient and answered all of our questions & concerns. He did a great job at our house so we'll be hiring him again to clean our evaporator coils. I would highly recommend JP Florida Air Conditioning to everyone. read more

I recently had a job done by JP. Communications was great. They called to confirm the appointment a day before and also let me they were gonna be a little late due to traffic. No problem, I know how traffic is down here. They gave me a very fair estimate for what it needs to be done and I had 4-5 different estimates. My AC is old like late 90s when the house was built. I had a leak so they did a diagnostic and my coils and tray was clogged and it needed to be clean. They didn't try to up sell me on a new unit even though I know that my unit's 20 years old and I know that it's time to get a new one soon. Anyway, they cut and took the coils out to my yard and cleaned it with chemicals. Rinsed, a couple of times and was ready. Welded the coiling unit back, recharged, checked my compressor, and cleaned the pipe. The job was done at a reasonable time. Maybe 1-1.5 hours. It's been about a month now and my old AC unit is running without any problems. AC in my house is cold, no leaks, and it's running great. I'll call these guys again if I have another job. I highly recommend them. read more

We wish we could give 10 stars!! We can't say enough good things about JP Florida Air Conditioning and Jose. When it comes to value, quality work, great customer service and unmatchable work ethic of Jose and his company JP Florida Air Conditioning, no other company comes close! After calling several companies for days and not receiving call backs or dealing with very unpleasant people, and even worst; reading horrible reviews on them...we had almost given up on our search, when one evening we called JP Air Conditioning and Jose answered the phone! He was so professional and told us that he would be at our house first thing next morning, AND he was! He was very punctual. We thought we would have to spend thousands of dollars replacing our old unit with a new one but he explained to us that all we needed to do was: change the air handler coils (which was under warranty), place a water load switch for the air handler and replace the insulation in the intake box, for much less than what we thought it would be. Jose explained everything he had to do step by step and he answered all of our questions. He called and texted several times to see how the a/c was working and told us we could call him at any time if we needed him. Our a/c is cooling perfectly. Our next thing to do is have our air ducts cleaned. Jose, my son will be calling you for his a/c. We are so pleased with you and your company, and we will refer you to our friends and family. It's very hard to find honest and hard working individuals now a days and when we do we must be very grateful.
