This review reflects mostly on service. I made an appointment online to have an oil change and tire rotation done on my Tahoe. The appointment was for Friday at 1pm. As with many people my work hours are long so I dropped the truck off on Thursday night, filled out the drop envelope, and placed it in the drop. While I was on my way home, I asked my wife to give them a call as I had not heard from them about the truck, but hey its an oil change they take all of 20 minutes add a tire rotation and even I could have done this in my driveway in under an hour. She called me back and said that they didn't know if the oil change was done as service had left and they didn't see the paperwork. Now, I am a bit concerned. No truck for a a day or two, no problem, I have a company vehicle. No truck on the weekend...WTF! So I go to the dealership, figured I take my key, truck and business elsewhere. Now here is the fun part. Get to the dealership, they can't find the fob. The sales manager or who I assume was running the show for the night could have cared less. His answer, you'll have to come talk to service after 730 when they get in on Saturday. There is nothing else he could do. I left, not happy. 10 minutes later we get a call that they found the fob, it was still in the envelope in the drop zone. He said it was under the tire machine, but that is doubtful unless that machine is on top of the door. I've used their drop before with no issue. Since I purchased this truck service has been less then stellar there. One time I picked it up after an oil change to find a flat tire. Another time I picked it up for motor mounts, yes a 2019 needed two new mounts, to find a puddle under my radiator. Don't know how that happen, is what I was told. This is it. I'm done with Tasca! I use Tasca for my fleet vehicles, that is over. My next purchase will be another GM product, but it wont be from them. Look through the reviews for every good one you will find 3 poor ones. Tasca stopped caring years ago and it shows! Growing up in RI, the name Tasca ment something. They had a reputation of taking care of customers. Back in the day I ownedba mark VIII, the door ajar message wouldn't go away. I brought it to their Lincoln dealership. They had it a few days trying to find the short. I remember calling because I was concerned that because the car was out of warranty that the bill would be high. They said no worries we will cover this under warranty as I was only a thousand miles out. This was when they cared. read more

Avoid these guys! SKETCHY! Bought a traded in BMW. Tasca held car for 7 days after purchase to resolve a tire-sensor issue. They finally offered for me to take it home without fixing it and suggested i send them the bill. I needed the vehicle so I took it home and my 17 year old son resolved the issue in one hour. My local BMW dealership inspected the vehicle and identified a water pump that needed replacement. Even though I had the car in my possession for under 30 days the sales mngr Elian Khouri refused to fix it. At first he said "the car passed inspection so it's not our issue". Then he said, "it's only leaking coolant fluid slowly so my guys won't fix it". Then he said "well, you put over 1k miles on it, so we aren't obligated to fix it". So it was 7:45pm and the car dealership was about to close IN 15MIN. I was met with a friendly smile and a warm voice of Mr. Vince Nasti.(His last name does not define his character). He immediately asked, what I was interested in and went to work. I like how calm and patient he is especially since the place was closing. I had the car already pulled up and I was out of the shop by 9:30pm with a vehicle. Celeste was also amazing. She let me sign my paper work like a Pro. She gave me all the information that I needed. I would say these two are a dream team. Celeste also has a good spirit and is very pleasant to talk to. Tasca has gained customers for life. Be aware of this dealership. I took my vehicle there for a recall and ask them to replace my windshield wipers. When I picked up my vehicle, I was being charged for other things that they said I approved for via text they sent me. I was utterly confused. The service manager ( I was so upset I don't remember his name) said that I approved these charges by text. I tried to explain to him that when I dropped the vehicle off I was told by the girl in the service department that she was going to call me when my vehicle was ready. I was NEVER advised that I was going to receive a text for other things that they wanted to do to my car. My vehicle is a 2022 Chevy Camaro two SS convertible that is not driven in the winter and they put some kind of air filter for my AC unit that obviously was not needed. But they said I signed for it via text. I wanted to speak with this person's manager And he was not in and I did not want to make a payment until he was in tomorrow morning. When I tried to leave the manager told me he was going to call the police and I was going to be arrested for grand theft auto. I was forced to make the payment. They were obviously trying to inflate my bill! I will never go to the dealership again and I want people to be advised that this is what they're doing now! Watch your text messages from the dealership if you bring your vehicle there! Watch your text messages from them very very carefully. You'll end up being charged for things that you were confused on. And you will pay for it. They don't care ! read more

The general manager was completely unprofessional and rude. He was condescending and made remarks about our "internet research" and said rudely if we had seen a similar car "why didn't you buy that one". Customer service does not exist at this establishment. read more

Disappointed. Wanted one car, was told it was sold out and referred to a 'leftover' that turned out to be more expensive. The salesman did not seem to want to make a sale and remained obstinate in the face of any price negotiation. Don't bother with this place. Poor salesmanship. Poor service. They sell you a car and act like they never want to see your face again. My salesman was a bit disgruntled after i talked him down nearly 2k from their list price ... Still overpaid, but Equinox ARE good cars nonetheless. ... Still, every transaction after that sale was unsatisfactory. I had to fight to get my salesman to cough up a 2nd set of keys for the car (he was going to charge me $170+ for a spare set! ... even though my wife and I are both on the title. I still have yet to receive word on recall on power-steering console, some 3 years after the fact. The service department sucks. Full of rude and antagonistic minions act inconvenienced by any request. Had a tire key NOT supplied by dealership, as they were after-market tires, and was told to go get it myself. Most recently, i received a service estimate of $980 for 3 tire monitor sensors and recalibration. The service attendant had the audacity to charge me over #100 for the estimate! Needless to say, I will NOT be getting my car serviced at Tasca EVER. Except .... Sean ... the head of the service dept. strangely enough, HE was actually cool ... pleasant and professional ... This is a review of the service department. Customer service was friendly and they explained everything to me. (I also checked in with my step dad, who lives too far away to help with the car but knows a lot about cars and everything checks out.) The waiting area was lovely, and the time they estimated to get me in and out was exactly correct, down to the minute. My second visit was the same great service. I've been impressed. Things happen to cars, and you have to be ready for unexpected repairs to pop up. I appreciate their transparency and letting me know when things are in need of fixing as far ahead as they can so I can plan when possible. Woonsocket location. Bought a used Avalon. Great car, but had AC leak. Dealership denied. We took it to independent mechanic who could smell the refrigerant leaking, and confirmed the leak... Back to Tasca Woonsocket - Salesman and Service Mgr denied-- and demeaned the independent mechanic as an idiot. They refused to correct the problem or compensate so we could get it fixed. Shortly thereafter we have NO AC. Do NOT recommend this dealership. (Their Warwick location / staff is great though..Wish we went there...) read more

Possibly the easiest car buying experience we have ever gone through. We were greated by a young salesman, he was very friendly and easy to deal with. We got a great deal on a leftover truck, and they bought out our lease from another dealer. We are so glad they helped us, we hated that car. Now we get to leave same day with the vehicle we want and like. We didn't have to deal with any games or sales gimmicks. We came in knowing what we wanted, and that was it. They didn't try to sell us into anything else or show us any other vehicle. They went right to the numbers. I bought a 2019 Colorado. 60 miles on it. At 200 miles it needed a complete manifold, file rail and everything that goes with it. 4500 dollars of warranty work, and a week later. On the way home the check engine light went on. I took it back and they reset it. On the way home it went on again I took it back for another few days. At 1200 miles the engine light is on again so it was flat beaded in on limp mode. It's never ending. I asked about giving it back. They offered me less than what I paid for the truck, and wouldn't come down on the price of a potential replacement, as they were loosing money on it to begin with. Lol. A 4 year old replacement mind you. I'm a US Army vet who faught cancer. I felt no respect, and felt like a number in the big wheel of their money machine. Truth be told, they really don't care. They truly make it obvious. I urge all Vets to take your business else where. read more

If I could go lower I would. I saw a SUV on their website that I wanted, so called to make sure it was not sold. I was told by (Haylee?) it was not sold. which I told her I would come first thing Saturday morning from out of state to purchase it. if it rides good and no other issue not mentioned. we can do the deal and have me leave. However, that never happened. When I got there the manager came out to tell me that someone looked at it Wednesday and called him this morning and decided they wanted it. Mind you, we came from out state and this person didn't put any money down on it. Which we were paying cash for the SUV. The Manager with all his gold rings on, didn't even try to put us in something on the same line with the same price and mileage. Poor Doug (saleman) tried to help us but his hands were tied, Not sure what type of Bootleg company this is? Waited in waiting room for hours before buying the car, when we already came in knowing what we wanted and spoke with a salesman, the staff just took there time. The finance person, was one of the rudest people we ever met (Al). When I was on the phone with the auto insurance, he couldn't answer any of my questions the insurance needed...More so just looked at me and ignored me as if I wasn't there or talking to myself. I bought my first car here and I had a great salesman. I was so excited for the car and I'm very happy with it still. What I am NOT happy with is the fact that seven months later, I get a tire light going off so I come in to a tire place and they inform me of a few things. One, I have a nail in my tire (no one's fault). Two, the tires are weeks away from being bad enough they shouldn't be on the road. Tasca let me drive off with a new car that had old tires. Tires are supposed to last years. I called them and I didn't have an extended warranty so, to be fair, it's no longer their problem. But it is a problem. And on top of that, the TPMS sensors on the tires were switched around after my six month checkup at Tasca so when I went to get my tire fixed the first time around, the tire place I went to couldn't find a leak. I came in for a $20 tire fix and am now having to pay over $500 for new tires that I can't afford. To say I am heated is an understatement. read more

Purchased car on Dec. 2 the salesman was helpful in finding one within our budget. It was a used Equinox and they only had one key fob when it should come with 2. The salesman said he would order it right away, needless to say we're still waiting. Also have not received car registration and the temp plate( which we were charged for) expires in 2 business days. My husband stopped in to check on these and was told I'll call you don't worry. When we purchased the car the finance manager made no attempt to get a good loan rate until we refused to sign for the rate he was going to get. Purchased a 2017 Ford Mustang and received a very fair price. However, that is the only positive thing I have to say about this dealership. Allow me to provide you with a running list of my experiences with them: - Started with an online ad that incorrectly stated the car was a manual (was clearly an automatic) and had the incorrect mileage listed (16,300 instead of 13,600) - Was sold an after-market warranty that began immediately even though the car still had 2 years on the original factory warranty and I explicitly stated I wanted to extend THAT WARRANTY - It took almost 2 weeks to sort out the warranty issue and submit paperwork to cancel it. It took 4 weeks of no responses for me to finally get an answer to its status from the warranty company, not the dealership. Took another 2 weeks of conflicting information to find out where the refund check was sent and what was done with it. - Dealership waited until the day my temporary plates were expiring to attempt to register my vehicle (in spite of repeated inquiries from me asking about its status). Due to an error with the DMV and my town the application was rejected resulting in my inability to drive the car for 4 days while it was resolved. - When I went in to express my displeasure at the overall experience (no yelling, nothing "personal", just a few salty words in the manager's office, not on the floor) I was verbally mocked and then physically confronted by Shane Young, an individual who wasn't involved in the conversation up to that point. - Throughout the whole 2 month process the sales representative, Jose, was uncommunicative for days/weeks at a time and provided misleading or incorrect information when he did respond. I went to Tasca specifically because I have heard nothing but rave reviews about the experience. Apparently that experience does not extend to the Woonsocket Chevy location, a feeling that was echoed by the new manager (I believe Matt) who indicated he was brought in to clean up this troubled location. Unfortunately it is too late for this customer, who will not be a repeat client and who is going to make sure others learn of my unbelievably negative experience. read more

Easily 5 stars for their service department. Emile who I'm assuming is the Service Manager has that place running like a well oiled machine. He is super thorough and very true to his word. Although it does take a little longer then I'd like he tells you that up front and even arranged a loaner. The 4 wd service light was coming on after only 7000 miles (which I am not happy about in a new vehicle )but they determined it was the actuator. I have yet to bring it to get it replaced but they called a few days after diagnosed and had the part waiting. I am going to schedule it but life has been busy and I have no doubt that Emile and team will fix it with confidence. This was my first purchase from Tasca Woonsocket and it has been nothing but positive from Chris my salesperson, to Matt the finance Mgr to now Emile handling service. Guess who's back with a brand new review. Three months ago, I found out they sold me a car with bad tires. (They actually emailed me a few weeks ago about those tires, saying I should come in because they had noticed that they were looking worn on my first service appointment. Cute.) Well, this past Thursday, I had a check engine light going on and off. Long story very short, I needed to pay for a new alternator and a new throttle body, which in total has cost me over $550. I haven't even had the car a full year but have put in $1100. I'm 23 years old, I work multiple jobs, and I was sold a car that I love dearly but that makes me feel like I'm in a relationship with a bad, economically abusive boyfriend. He treats me real nice until he runs out on dinner and leaves me to pay and then he sweet talks me back when I get home. His Mama should have raised him better and a dealership certainly should have known better. Don't go here. read more
