You have to go here! Nice little spot for drinks but the food is so great! The Garlic Fish filet I believe is grouper and it was a large portion, tasty beyond belief. Possibly one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had! (I've eaten a lot of fish) We also got the quesadilla and added chicken. Fantastic! The drinks here are pretty good but very expensive. The most expensive on this beach as far as I've seen.. It's like US club bar prices. Still really good, but if you want a cheaper option, either of the places on the left or right of Tarzan have drinks that are like half the price. This is an absolute rip off. Location and place is amazing but they charge ridiculous prices for the food and beverages. I asked them to charge my phone with my charger, they even charged me $30 for that after we spent $2200 pesos. They also charged us $300 for tips which is very frustrating because the servers were very rude and scream at passer by to consume at their place. They really crossed the line to all limits. The location is perfect. Their shrimp ceviche was delicious so were their grilled fish tacos. After our meal we rented the beach chairs and their service was great. They were very attentive and polite. We will definitely be returning. read more

Prices are ridiculous and the food is awful. Chairs are way more than other locations close by. They do not take credit cards either so if visiting take cash. Steer clear of this location if you want good food as you wont get it hear. Very bland, cold and pricey compared to others. read more

We came here at like 11 am during the week and no one was here. They offered renting the lawn chairs for 300 pesos which I thought was a lot but we did it anyways. The first daiquiri I got was amazing! Very boozy! The second one I got had no alcohol and neither did the third drink I got. Completely deceived my family and I upon arriving by lying to us on what was the minimum amount was needed to be spent for the chairs. With all the options for beach snacks and drinks, it can be easy to get stuck at the wrong place with so-so drinks. Take my word, unless you're drinking beer, go directly to Tarzan's. They make their drinks from scratch - no pre-made mix margarita's here - served in red solo cups. As good as their drinks are, their food is fantastic too! Try the shrimp salad in avocado or the warm gooey quesadillas or the super good guac (served with pico de gallo on the side - pour it right into the guac). There were probably other things just as good on the menu but these were our go-to's. We weren't on their beach but it's an easy walk from any playa norte beach location. Enjoy! read more

Steer away from this beach club. We were deceived upon arrival. We were pulled into using their service because the server told us the chairs and umbrellas were free as long as we spent 300 pesos per person on food and drink. We thought it was a great deal because we knew we would spend that. When we got our bill there was a charge of 300 pesos for sombrillos. We asked what that was about and they told us it was for the chairs and umbrellas, on top what we spent on drinks and food. We are so disappointed, this is our first day here and we told the server we would not be back. He shrugged his shoulders as if he did not care in the least. read more

Beautiful, beautiful beach! We rented two chairs for 300 pesos and we wish we could've stayed longer. The drinks were awesome. We had a mango margarita for the adults and strawberry banana smoothie for the kids. The ceviche was delicious, but the shrimp tacos were just ok. Overall one of our favorite experiences on vacation. read more
