Astoundingly unique food and desserts. Did not expect to find that! Service is very efficient and friendly in this little place.

The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

It reminds me of a country home by the water. The service was friendly and young. I got the plum salad, fallow deer, and roasted peach/caramel ice cream. The salad was spectacularly tasteful and fresh. I felt like the deer was a little too salty for my taste, but presentation was good. I was disappointed by the dessert. My ice cream was partially melted and the peaches were cold. I would give the environment/ambiance 5/5, service 5/5 and food 3.5/5. Overall 4/5.

The oysters with frozen apple and horseradish was one of the most creative dishes I've had. The duck hearts, while a bit bitter, were full of adventurous flavors. The caviar topped potatoes were a delicious bite reminiscent of a cream cheese bagel topped with lox. The wine list was impeccable and the recommendations and service were spot on. I hope whatever is next for the Éan family is nothing but good things. Thank you for a wonderful meal!

You won't find a better pastry in Galway. Enjoy coffee house vibes inside what feels like a castle…read more The coffee here is strong and smooth. The pastries here are unbelievable. I had my first cruffin which is a fluffy croissant. The raspberry and lemon cruffin and the chocolate and coffee cruffin were the favorites. The vanilla and plum danish was also a winner. Loved the coffee here as well as the espresso was smooth and bold. I absolutely love the ambience inside. With the stone walls and candles, it felt like you were dining in a castle. With coffee shop music and art on the walls, you could easily spend hours here with a book and coffee. Very friendly service but not the place to come if you are in a rush. It is popular and meant to be a place to linger. Lots of people coming for takeaway as well and people were able to bring their dogs inside to pick up food but not sit inside with their pets. There are a few tables outside for seating though. Looks like there is also a tasty lunch and dinner menu as well but they sure know how to deliver on breakfast.
