We enjoyed a nice and healthy breakfast for an affordable price at this cafe! The restaurant has a nice and relaxed atmosphere and a friendly staff! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff is so friendly and the ambiance is very aesthetically pleasing. I saw some saying the place was a tad pricey but they really do give a large portion of food. They also have a lovely drink and dessert selection at the front.

Great spot for Sunday! Tucked away on second floor on Shop Street - was relieved to find a brunch spot on a very busy Galway weekend

The Chicken Focaccia melt, with a shot of the rustic interior in the background.

Oh my gosh, I cannot rave about this place enough. It's adorably decorated on the second floor of a building in the middle of downtown Galway, with a hipster, rustic sort of ambiance. I ordered the Chicken Focaccia, and it was easily the best sandwich I had in all of my time in Galway. It was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, with a mouth-watering mozzarella and herb sauce. The menu was reasonably priced, with my sandwich melt being a little bit under 9€. The staff were friendly and attentive. Would GLADLY return, again and again. I can not recommend them enough as a great lunch spot in an ideal part of town.

French toast, scone, and the green smoothie

Amazing! The French toast was delicious. I used the marscapone from the plate on my scone, which made it next-level. The smoothie itself was well-balanced in flavor and also delicious. I came on a Friday morning and it wasn't busy at all. I got my food in under 5 minutes and the staff were really nice. Will definitely be coming again.

Scrambled eggs, mushrooms, & sourdough toast.

The place was very clean, someone was cleaning the entry stairs as we arrived. We did not need to wait long to be seated and the wait staff was very accommodating. We enjoyed a late morning breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage roll and a cinnamon roll/bun/doughnut with chocolate on the inside and out. A case of the eyes being too big for the stomach. We should have shared one of the decadent treats We talked about this being a place we would visit again.

Pricey but Tasty! Ate here last week for lunch and always wanted to try here. The interior is amazing, it's such a unique restaurant and fits in well with Galway. The staff were friendly when we first arrived and showed us to a table I got the chicken focaccia but it was hard to decide as everything sounded really good. When our food arrived everything looked really good but we realised it was a little pricey for what we got. There were no sides or chips. If there was a little side salad I would say it was good value but It was just the sandwich on its own. When I took my first bite there was something really hard that I did not expect in my bite - a wishbone. I took it out and began to chew again but there were two more small sharp pieces of bone. This could have been dangerous for someone who swallowed their food quickly. Other than that it tasted great! Great quality food & taste. I didnt want to make a fuss over it so I didnt call the waitress over but I would have stated it if she asked "if everything was alright" just to warn staff for future customers sake but she didnt ask so I decided to write a review. I will definitely be returning to dry some if their coffees & hot chocolates as the drinks menu looked delicious!

This place is great! The ambiance is really neat and casual, the employees were friendly, the prices are fair, and the food is delicious! I went for brunch with some friends and we all loved our food. Located in the middle of the lovely Latin Quarter, it's a hidden gem upstairs above a gift shop. We'll definitely be back!

Stopped here with a few of my friends for our one evening in Galway, and I definitely was not disappointed! It's kind of hidden, but not nearly as packed as most of the restaurants on Shop street. The aesthetic is very cool and chic, we sat at a table with a cute little window seat overlooking the street. The prices are also not bad at all-- I had a sandwich, cup of soup and tea and it came out to around €12. The staff are absolutely lovely and even split the bill for us (we were a group of 4). There are a ton of options on the menu, and you can order both lunch and dinner meals for either meal. It was definitely a great place to stop in, for a good bite and a look over the shopping centre below.

really great breakfast, super generous portions, cute environment, very cozy! seemed to be understaffed, food came out quickly enough and staff was friendly but we were left waiting to pay for about 30 mins! we were hoping to leave a bit sooner than that. once again, really nice place and the food was so good, but quite a bit of wait on the back end!

Delicious sandwiches and pleasant service. We both had the spicy chicken with meted cheese and jalapeños. Great!

The space itself is small and cozy, with just a handful of tables and a private room, which gives it that intimate, tucked‑away feel. I'd 100% go back. They offer two specialty cocktails and a wine list, and while the cocktail selection is limited, the wines are unique and fantastic -- definitely worth exploring. The food was outstanding across the board. The monkfish scampi isn't what you might picture, but it's fantastic -- super crispy and full of flavor. And you have to get the bread: tomato focaccia or brown bread, then topped with the fennel, thyme, and maple butter were all unforgettable. The bavette steak was delicious, and the mashed potatoes were truly out of this world. The sea trout was incredibly fresh; just a heads‑up that the gremolata is spread over the whole dish, so it ends up almost poached in olive oil -- worth noting for anyone sensitive to that, but the flavor itself was excellent. Definitely end the night with the affogato and the shortbread cookies (chef's kiss). Who doesn't like to dunk their dessert? Highly recommend, would absolutely come back.

It reminds me of a country home by the water. The service was friendly and young. I got the plum salad, fallow deer, and roasted peach/caramel ice cream. The salad was spectacularly tasteful and fresh. I felt like the deer was a little too salty for my taste, but presentation was good. I was disappointed by the dessert. My ice cream was partially melted and the peaches were cold. I would give the environment/ambiance 5/5, service 5/5 and food 3.5/5. Overall 4/5.
