This is a new favorite for me in St. Thomas. I did hesitate to try it at first because overall the reviews seems questionable but let me say that this is worth 5 stars plus your time and appetite. 1. The location is amazing! Located in red hook right along side the water you can see the boats docked and sailing in against a gorgeous landscape of greenery. 2. The service was so great. I was greeted quickly by a wonderful gentleman who I believe was the owner. He seated me at a great table. 3. The menu is simple but has tons of great options. I ordered the bananas foster pancakes, scrambled egg with cheese and onion and coffee. Those pancakes I will dream about until I can taste them again! They were INCREDIBLE! This was our first meal after our long trip over to islands! The location was near our Ferry ride over to St. John's and not really knowing the territory...we wanted to stay close and the smell of fresh cooking caught our noses. The place was not too busy, as it is the off season and were immediately greeted by a hostess who is also from TX! We were seated near the water's edge to give us the view of the sunset. While staying in St. Thomas, we stumbled upon this outstanding restaurant. It was so great we came here twice. If you like seafood, I recommend the fresh lobster, mussels, and the poke bowls. These dishes were very well cooked. I would also suggest the slow roasted tacos and burger. Very simple but delicious. Thanks to one of our servers Maubi, we had a great experience. Our food came quickly both nights we visited here. If you come here at night, you can feed the Tarpons which is great for the kids and brave adults who are willing to feed them by hand. Adam was our server and man he's a good one, funny guy and very social, we were sat right be the water and even saw the Tarpon get fed! Service was 10/10 and food was served at good time and man it's the best way to eat sea food is on the sea, so you bet it was 10/10 Great way to end the trip can't wait to come back to the USVI and we will for sure be back at Tarpon's Table also they let my wife and some of the other customers hold some of the freshly caught lobsters they just pulled off the boat the just came into the harbor it's was awesome! The Arrival My family of six arrived on time for our reservation, excited for what we hoped would be a memorable meal. Despite several open tables that could easily accommodate our party, we were ushered to a small, cramped table designed for four, set with only four sets of plates, utensils, and napkins. It took multiple requests to have enough chairs and place settings brought over, which set the tone for the evening. Worse yet, the table surface felt sticky and unclean, leaving us questioning the establishment's attention to hygiene. Service: A Series of Misses Once seated, we placed our drink and food orders. Drinks arrived in a reasonable timeframe, but when our food came, we realized we didn't have enough napkins or utensils. Again, we had to request these basic necessities--something no diner should need to do, especially at a restaurant that includes an automatic service charge. The Food As for the food, it was mediocre--bland, uninspired, and far from the quality one would expect given the glowing online reviews. Worthy of compliment was the bread on the shrimp poboy. Other than this, not a single dish stood out. We spent ~$300 for the meal but this was expected for dining in St Thomas. The Owner's Behavior (he seems to be the person running the place) The most shocking part of the evening came at the end. On our way out, I approached the owner with a simple question about the car ferry service next door. Midway through my sentence, he abruptly turned and walked away without so much as an acknowledgment. His dismissive body language and apparent disinterest left me stunned. Yes, I noticed he seemed preoccupied with an issue--running out of lobsters for another table--but ignoring a customer in such a manner is inexcusable. This interaction left me feeling disrespected and insulted. As a paying customer who had just spent a significant amount at the establishment, I expected at least a modicum of courtesy. Instead, I was made to feel as though I wasn't worth the owner's time or attention. Final Thoughts Given the numerous positive reviews online, my family and I were excited to dine here. However, our experience was a stark departure from the glowing accounts I had read. The subpar service, mediocre food, and dismissive behavior of the owner combined to create one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in recent memory. This establishment's inability to deliver even the basics of hospitality is something others should be aware of before deciding to dine here. I have refrained from leaving reviews on Yelp for many years but my family urged me to share this experience to prevent others from enduring a similar disappointment. For those visiting St. Thomas, I recommend seeking out restaurants where your business is truly valued--where hospitality is as important as the food on the plate. Near a parking garage, which after 2 days on St Thomas is a sight for sore eyes. Friendly, welcoming staff. Food was amazing. And fast. Also things we have come to not expect here. I ordered the fresh lobster, my husband ordered another amazing fresh caught dish. My daughter and Mother-in-law had poke, sister-in-law had shrimp. If you are on this island, this place needs to be your must try. We also had the hot wings as an appetizer. Mediocre at the best. We ordered fish tacos and St. Thomas poked bowl. Fish tacos were meh. The batter on the fish was very thick and oily and had no flavor/seasoning. The poke bowl supposedly comes with candied cashews but they were soft and no flavor again. Our table was so sticky that napkins were not coming off. Out of all of that our server was very nice and food arrived promptly. I would not recommend wasting $50 on mediocre food with no flavor. read more

I found this restaurant via Yelp! We were so excited to sit and enjoy the view while eating dinner. However, the mosquitoes were absolutely treacherous. We had our own bug spray, and it only deterred them for a bit because the restaurant is essentially located in the marsh, and because it has recently rained quite a bit, the outdoor experience was not fun. We ended up ordering our food and taking it to go. I unfortunately didn't get pictures of the food but the food was great. The fish and chips was amazing and the serving sizes are great. The waitstaff was accommodating but I do feel as though the owners and management could have better managed the environmental circumstances. There were no scented bug candles to deter the mosquitos. There was no red lighting, clear barriers or tiki torches to deter the mosquitos. Something else could have been done to make the experience enjoyable. read more

FOOD: 4/5 : Got one of their specials and an app for dinner. The Shrimp and Grits with andouille sausage was really good. Big portion, spiced just enough, and made with diced green and sweet onions in the creamy grits. Would absolutely order again. The pork belly and watermelon slaw was just as the name portrays: weird. The belly was good. The watermelon was good. The slaw was really tart and sour. Combining them all together just had a strange taste. Probably would pass on this one a second time. For breakfast, I got the strangely named "Pork Debris Benedict". It was honestly the best breakfast I had all week. Traditional eggs Benedict, but with "pork debris", which ended up being basically just shredded pork belly and bacon. I wish I could bring the recipe home with me to one of my local breakfast books. COST: 4/5 : Like everything on the island, you're paying a premium price. Looking around $25 for a dinner entree and $15-20 for breakfast. Drinks were about the same price as everywhere else. Realistically you should plan to spend a minimum of $30 a head, including tip. Which, for what you get, is a decent value. OVERALL: Good experience, good food, great location. This hidden Gem has only been open for a couple of months. But wow!!!! They blew us away! We were looking for a place for brunch before going to the airport on St. Thomas. We heard some music and just sort of went in that direction. Located behind the shops this awesome spot is located right on the docs! I was shocked it wasn't busier. If I were going on a chartered boat, I would be here prior having warm up drinks! I had been wanting mimosas all week, and as you can see by my shirt, I really wanted brunch and mimosas on the way off the island. I was super happy we found this spot. We were seated wherever we wanted to sit and chose the best view. We pursued the menu a bit and everything looked so good! I started with an Irish coffee and my friend got a beer. I chose the Pork Eggs Benedict. I also got a side of crispy bacon. They do not skimp on the food! The Eggs Benedict was served on a Buttermilk Biscuit that was perfectly stale (for lack of a better word). So it gave it a nice crunch with that buttermilk biscuit taste. The pork was fresh and plentiful. I mean this was just amazing! The price was on par for the quality of food and the drinks that we had. I got my mimosa and was happy to go sit in the airport. I absolutely recommend coming here! We are talking about coming back to St. John this summer and this will be on our list of places to stop at before the ferry over. read more

We both had lobster that was fresh caught only hours to diner service and it was amazing. We had mussels for an app and the cream sauce was incredible. I could have drank it. The food was some of if not the best around. The atmosphere was great. Meet the owner who was also bussing tables and getting drinks. An amazing guy and supports his staff to the fullest. The seafood here was super fresh and well seasoned. Me and my gf's favorite restaurant in Red Hook (maybe all of USVI)--we came back twice!
