Update: I received a prompt call from Steve at Tarp Supply who provided a very amicable solution to my issues. I will further update my review when the promises we agreed to have come through. I definitely commend the business for the prompt follow through. Can I give less than 1 star please! I purchased two different types of tarps from this business and on neither one was I notified after I waited my full order picking and shipment time that the items were in fact on back order and would not be available for another MONTH! They had no plans to notify me or reimburse our company OR give me options to make a different decision; all the while my company is losing $1000s waiting for tarps to arrive so we can do our work. There were no managers or supervisors available to speak with, the voicemail was full and the customer service agent I spoke with was not helpful or accommodating. The owner was off galavanting around on a "business" trip and I was given a generic email address as the only way to contact him for resolution. The money for the order was taken our of our bank account in seconds but I was told it may be a "few" days before it is returned. read more

Would give zero starts if I could, just like they took zero responsibility for their defective product. I purchased what was advertised as a heavy duty, fire retardant, waterproof tarp that was 40x40 feet from Tarp Supply Inc for $1,500 and $400 delivery. Upon delivery, I noticed how tiny the rivets were for this size tarp, they must have been smaller than a quarter. As soon as the tarp was tied down, a small breeze picked up and suddenly multiple rivets in the tarp ripped right out of the plastic material, the causing us to have to remove the tarp altogether after just securing it down. I contacted Brad in customer support who I initially offered repair or reinforcement options and asked me to send photos. After sending him photos of the damage, I received this response... "I spoke with our manager about this issue. They told me that since the 40' x 40' tarp was used and damaged, we cannot accept that tarp back for return." I asked to speak to speak to someone about this further and was ignored. This was a very expensive purchase for me that I spent a long time saving up money for. Not only am I out now out the $1,500 I spent on the 40x40' tarp, but also the $400 I spent in delivery, almost $200 in labor, $400 for delivery to return the broken tarp and the second 30x30' tarp, and 20% of the purchase price from the return for a "restocking fee." Thanks Tarp Supply for nearly bankrupting me this month and not offering any solutions! Maybe consider emailing me back and refunding me for YOUR faulty product. read more

Not a good business, they use tricky wording and sell garbage products at 3 times what it costs to get a better quality product elsewhere! They try to convince you that their garbage products are if good quality !!! Lies and tricky wording ,!!! read more

Great advice. Easy to order, even odd special orders are a breeze. Been working with Tarp Supply for years. Good follow up after order. Too rainy for pics but, trust me, you will love working with these people. I'll be back! lol read more

I ordered a 8'X12' screen for showing outdoor movies. It came quick and without damage. We haven't used it yet because it's been winter, but can't wait to put it up, sit back with a glass of wine and watch movies under the stars. read more

Excellent tarps! We use a lot of tarps in our line of work and these guys came through in a clinch with a tarp that was the size we needed in a hurry. Thank you guys! read more

I ordered a set of tarps six years ago that lasted me four years of use during the winter on my boat dock. I re-ordered the same clear vinyl tarps and only use them for four months and they started to crack. I contacted the company representative Brad who told me that there was nothing they could do there was no change and quality of vinyl that they use during the pandemic and that it was a fault of mine that I stored in an indoor closet at my house. Will probably not reconsider using them in the future. read more

I did have a product quality issue with a 40x80 tarp. It's use was to protect a batch of cedar from a project. We used it for 45 minutes and could see that it was not going to hold up because grommets were already pulling. I did get offered a 10% refund on a $400 tarp. I declined and asked for a Manager to contact me. Maybe I will be able to update with a positive solution, but for now..........DO NOT WASTE A PENNY on these tarps. read more

I've been using tarp supply tarps for years now at our ranch and have had excellent results. The tarps all good quality and a fair price. The canvas tarps have been great for protecting our horses from wind and rain and for covering supplies etc. We also got some clear vinyl tarps and they are still going strong for us in the winter after many years. read more

As a business owner, I felt inclined to write a review after reading some of the negative. I am in the construction business and we use large polyester canvas tarps in the cold season, and often have applications for heavy duty vinyl. At tarp supply, I can send one of my guys in and pick up locally. I feel that negative reviews often come from people who are using the wrong materials for the job, or don't understand that tarps are a consumable item that sometimes get destroyed in severe conditions. I give the guys at tarp supply 5 stars. read more

Just what I ordered, excellent quality great customer support highly recammend.

Before ordering 2 large tarps, I phoned Tarp Supply. Not only did I get a real person on the line right away, but they were able to access information about a tarp I bought from them 8 years ago, and advise me as to my next purchase. This kind of service is pretty rare these days online. I couldn't ask for more. The quality of the tarp I bought 8 years ago was excellent, and I expect the 2 new tarps I just ordered will be the same. read more

The tarps are good quality, but they make mistakes and then do not live up to their stated return policy. I had four tarps custom made according to drawings I supplied, for around $450. Three of the tarps were perfect. The fourth tarp was not made according to the drawing. I emailed them within the 14 day period stated by the company. They said they would have the tarp picked up, returned to them, and the mistake corrected. But they never picked it up. We exchanged 15 - 20 emails, but they never did anything. I grew tired of asking them to correct their mistake, and just moved on. Now they tell me it was too long ago, so they can't help me! And then they hung up on me when I telephoned! If you live nearby, you can order tarps, go in person and verify that they are giving you what you ordered, and then pay. Otherwise, I would be careful about doing business with them. read more

I placed an order on Nov. 8th 2018 and was told my tarps would be shipped in 2-3 days. All I received was ball bungees. I had to call a week later an find out where the tarps were? I was not given an answer from the women I spoke with just that they would be sent out in a day or two. I received a box that I though was all the tarps only to find out that I was still missing two. Because of bad weather I was unable to immediately open the box and get all the tarps out. In hindsight I should have at least tried to confirm what was in there but I had no reason to believe all the tarps were not in there. I can't tell you how much time I have wasted with this company. I had to return everything and I am out almost $200 in shipping chargers. This company's online service is a joke they are using a Yahoo shopping cart and provide not information on tracking or updates or even exactly what has and has not been shipped. If you want custom sizes they take 4 weeks AT LEAST! Whatever you do save yourself the aggravation and find another supplier. I also recommend not ordering from any of the online Tarp companies online. Place your order over the phone and get an email confirmation with exact shipment dates etc. read more

I purchased 2 canvas tarps at a cost over $300 , they first lost my order. They then sent one tarp not standard to what I ordered. My second tarp was not same as the first , not the same color and no heavy duty grommets as ordered. I call and explained what they had done, oh we sorry BUT there is nothing we can do. Bottom line I didn't receive what I ordered, different grommet patterns , no heave duty grommets, different colors one has this huge ugly seem right down the middle. Not a good company to do business with. read more

The worst ever, find another company 1 took 3-4 weeks to make even tho 'In stock" 2 never communicated to me about process or delay 3 Shipped to wrong address 2nd to human error' 4 told me to go pick up the 68 lb package at the other delivery 5 THEN one of the tarps was 10 feet short and all they said was "sorry" it will be 2-3 weeks for us to make it again. No discount or compassion about this 500 order. The worst check other reviews do not believe them read more

I've ordered several times from this company and never had an issue until my last order. The tarp I ordered from them wasn't the size it was supposed to be based on what the website said. Since I contacted them a few days after their 2 week return policy. They refuse to accept it back and the offer me a 10% discount if I placed another order with them. So, basically I'm stock with a 15.5ft tarp (was supposed to be 16x16ft) that I won't use and they expect me to spend another $300 plus dollars with them. At this point that 10% feels like a slap on the face. read more

Wonderful customer service! We needed fire retardant tarps fast and I was able to speak their CS person and our order was placed on a rush and we had them at our house in California after only 7 days! Tarps were great and the only thing that could be improved, a label that indicated that they are fire retardant. BTW I called other tarp suppliers and there was NO way we could have them guaranteed to our home any sooner than 4 weeks. read more

Never buy from this company. I ordered two 15 by 15 foot canvas heavy duty covers for winter covering my boat. I waited and waited and finally received my order almost a month late and it was two 8 by 7 tarps labeled as 15 by 15. I wrote the company and they took them back and said it would take longer to make the ones real size I had ordered. With winter approaching I needed these asap and didn't have time to wait but had no choice. They arrived another month later and this time I noticed when I was somehow short when I put them on to cover a 26 foot boat. Two 15 by 15 sections should be more than enough obviously. I took them down and measured each side to find them short by a foot and half on every side. I filed a complaint with them and the BBB and still have yet to resolve this or get a refund. 500 dollars for a headache and hassle for incorrect covers. read more

I ordered a 10 X 18 vinyl tarp from Tarp Supply on October 16th. Their website states 2 to 3 weeks production time. About a month later in mid November, I contacted them again to check the status of delivery and they stated that they are really busy this time of year and that my tarp would likely be on its way very soon. Three weeks later, I'm still without a tarp and I called again only to hear that it is still in production with no promised delivery date. Tarp supply has gone out of their way to earn my one star rating and I finally called back again to cancel my order. If you really need a tarp, consider going elsewhere. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, alas I don't have that option. I ordered a duster for my suv. It took multiple pictures and sketches and emails before I felt they truly understood what I wanted and needed. But we got there, so I ordered on the ninth of March. It was all broken down as far as pricing, velcro cost, snap cost, full finish cost, and 15.00 for UPS shipping guaranteed in three days. I was told it would take a total of twelve days to complete the order. Twelve days came and passed, I asked for a tracking number. Two days later "Brad" tells me he will check with production and get back to me. Three days later, I am told it will be shipped the following Wednesday, and arrive on Friday. At this point I'm a little irked. I point out I'm ordering a tarp slightly larger than a beach towel (56'x33') snaps on three sides and Velcro on one. It's neither time consuming or complicated. I was told: "Custom tarps can take extra time, depending on design, production being backed up and who is available for production." None of that matters or applies to me, I asked for a small rectangle (not rocket science) and they gave me the time frame for delivery, and maybe hire some more workers if you're so taxed. Honestly, lamest excuses I've heard to date. Friday came and went, so I asked again for a tracking number. I was given a tracking number the following Monday, that shows it was mailed out SATURDAY. At this point I just wanted the tarp ( I should add my funds were taken out on the ninth of March, twenty minutes after I placed the order.) so I waited. It came yesterday, my measurements were perfect, snaps are in place, Velcro is right where I wanted it...only one glitch. They didn't send the other half of the snaps so I have no way to attach it to my car. Emailed Brad immediately, asking did the price not include the entire snap? He tells me production forgot to include them and he'll have them shipped. I asked for over night shipping as we are now at the five week mark with this TINY order...no reply. Find ANYONE else to make your tarps, this company does not understand customer service or how to stick to their own time lines. read more

Wretched, horrible company. Christie, their marketing account manager sends me spam email regularly with no way to unsubscribe. I've never purchased a tarp or anything else from them. read more

I ordered a tarp from them as they offered a good selection of materials and sizes. HOWEVER, that is the best I can say about this company. While applying the tarp, the seam above one of the grommets tore readily before we even applied any tension to the rope. The 4inch section of the seam that ripped was obviously was poorly sewn. I sent their "customer service" (if one can call it that) a photo of the rip and explanation regarding the weak seam. No reply for days. I finally called to follow up and received an email stating per "their" review, we were at fault for pulling too tightly on the grommet--case closed. Brad then CURTLY offered me a 15% discount on future purchases----NEVER WILL THEY HAVE OUR BUSINESS AGAIN. POOR QUALITY, EVEN POORER QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere!!! their customer service is extremely poor as well as the quality of the tarps. when applying the tarp without any force whatsoever, the grommets were popping off. need i say that the items are not inexpensive? .......we paid more for what we thought was quality........and it is the furthest thing from it! they did nothing to provide customer satisfaction. read on , we are not the only unhappy customers. read more

I recently purchased (3) 40x60 gray traps from this company when I opened them up two tarps appeared OK the third tarp had a large section of one of the seams that was separated ie defective from the factory upon contacting them to make this right the company representative told me sorry there is nothing we can do. Very poor product and even worse customer service. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THERE PRODUCT........ The only reason Tarp Supply receives 4 stars is due to Peter Ade's efforts to provide a professional and quality customer service experience. It seems the product is well made. However, I ordered a tan 5x7 tarp, which arrived much later than planned and as a brown 6x10 tarp. The outside of the box even had 5x7 tan written in marker. So mistakes happen, the product seems like a good one. But again, Pete Ade is the only one who worked with me to get this issue resolved quickly and with the utmost professionalism read more

I am delighted with the service that I have gotten from Tarp Supply. Great pricing, kind and helpful people.

Excellent service and top quality materials for fair costs. I would make future purchases without hesitation.

Use CAUTION. They do not post lead times or in stock information although most of their competitors post this information. I found out the hard way that even a simple rectangular 10x20 tarp will take 4 weeks. Three days later I am still trying to get confirmation that they cancelled my order as requested verbally and via email. Tried calling their number after hours (got home from work late) and found out their voice mailbox is too full to accept new messages.....very shady that an online business doesn't keep up with voice mail or email read more

I found a mesh tarp cover on tarpsupply.com, which had the perfect olive greens, greens and tan colors to match our home as we were going to use as a cover on your attached wood pergola. Imagine my surprise when I received it (3 weeks later!) and it was red and black. I called this business and they said, "sorry, but the colors of the tarps change every week, they can not be responsible for that". When I noted that there was nothing on their web page stating this, surprise - the next day the verbiage was there... I returned the tarp but they refused to pay the $16 return shipping.
